The man who captured her had a rather strange way of talking to her. He was rather elusive and gave her little hints as to what he had in mind for her. Still, there was very little doubt in her mind that he was not working with the darkness. Why else would he keep her prisoner?
Karin couldn’t help but take a small step back from the bars as the stranger wrapped his “hands” around the bars. His tentacles were rather unsightly.
“I…” Should she lie and say she was confident her friends would return for her, to give her an air of intimidation? Or rather play the brave card and convince him that she didn’t need them?
“Don’t really know,” The words slipped before she had time to dwell on them. “Either way, I don’t see myself in this cell for much longer. And, regardless, I will see my friends again. Time is irrelevant with our goals.” She smiled curtly at him before folding her arms.

Ritsuka was being forced back, these pirate heartless were really testing his swordsmanship, he could barely get a hit in and was thus forced to play defensively. Ritsuka blocked and parried all of their slashes, but with so many blades to keep track of he was having a difficult time finding openings for which to attack. Moguri wasn't having any more luck, he struggled to keep the Heartless at bay with his magic, his tiny sword not ideal for clashing with the large cleavers the Heartless' wielded. Eventually they were forced back to back, surrounded by the pirate Heartless, only managing to damage them slightly. The two apprentices looked at each other and gave subtle nods, as if understanding each other's intent. The Heartless all lunged forward at once, raising their swords in order to kill their targets.
"Reflectra!" Moguri exclaimed, a dome of transparent magical energy protecting them from the attacks and forcing them back.
"Circle Raid!" Ritsuka announced as soon as the Reflectra wore off. His Keyblade shined as he threw it, amazingly it traveled in a perfect circle around them, landing powerful hits on the Heartless. It went around twice before returning to Ritsuka's hand, the Heartless all disappearing into the darkness as they died. Ritsuka let out a sigh of relief. "Guess we were lead here because of the Heartless." He said, his tone showing a hint of disappointment.
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean Karin isn't here, kupo." Moguri suggested. Just then they heard a slow clapping coming from behind them. They turned to see Jack almost playfully applauding them.
"Well, that was quite the show you put on there laddy, you've got quite the sword arm." Jack said with a bit of slur in his voice, evidence of his drunken state.
"Uh, thanks, I guess." Ritsuka replied awkwardly, unsure what to make of this strange character.
"I suppose you're looking for that strange lass from before." He suggested, much to their shock and surprise.
"Huh, wait, you mean Karin was here!" Ritsuka asked.
"Never got her name, but I can tell you and she hail from the same waters, seems my eye is as keen as ever." Jack replied.
"But she was here!?" Ritsuka repeated.
"Aye, gave me the slip not too long ago, only caught a glimpse of her heading for the harbor, and not too long after a ship headed off to sea, I wager she'd be on it." Jack stated.
"A ship, out at sea... alright, well at least we know she's ok." Ritsuka said, mostly to Moguri, who gave him a nod. "Thanks for the tip mister, I really appreciate it!" He called back to Jack before running off to the harbor. Once there, Ritsuka summoned his Keyblade Glider and hopped on, Moguri doing the same. "Hang on Karin, we're coming." He said before launching off over the water.

Jones chuckles at the girls strong remarks. "Time is the most precious thing you can have now. Cause you don't have much left." He says turning to the guard. "If she has a chance of escaping. Kill her." The pirate growls lightly and nods with a smirk. As Jones walks up and out of the wooden doors they are slammed and locked. On the deck he went up to another pirate. This one resembled a stingray. "Keep an eye out. I think she will either find a way out. Or more likely rescue party." "Yes captain."
On the ship the darkness and heartless move along as if a black liquid. They rest in the water shape shifting. Changing their form they turn into black sharks with glowing yellow eyes and thin lines on their bodies. These sharks are longer then usual and resemble partial eels. These heartless sharks circle the boat and wait in case they are intercepted. Other heartless remain in liquid darkness form on the boat ready to rise if they need to.
