Hale thought for a moment "Well...there would be a problem if any of the... 'Red Lanterns' Got assimilated... because then they would have Borg with all the Red Lanterns powers... and could maybe even replicate them and give them to other borgs" he said grimly

"Well that's the thing. Only a red lantern can use that ring. And once it dies or stops feeling rage, the ring leaves to find a new lantern. And even then, they can't harness the Red lanterns power without a ring. And they can't use the ring without a power battery. That and you need to have some serious anger issues for Atrocitus to decide to send a ring to you."Navir explained.

he nodded "the only problem is, unless the ring can produce infinite levels of power, or constantly remodulate its power waves the Borg will adapt to their weapons..." he said and he looked at Navir "so...you would be a Green Lantern then? judging by the fact you are green"

Navir nodded. "A red lantern power ring can do everything mien can. So I'd assume the could adapt."Navir said. "And yes, I am. We try to police the universe and keep it peaceful."Navir said.

Hale nodded as he looked at Navir "The Federation's job is similar. Though, we also explore, research, and assist as well as defend the people of our sector of the Galaxy"

"Seems to fit the description of a green lantern."Navir said.

the Captain nodded and he motioned for Navir to follow him "I could show you around this vessel if you would like?" he asked curiously

"Alright."Navir said, floating after the captain.

The Captain showed him around, most of it was pretty basic or self explanatory. They soon got to what the captain thought was one of humanities greatest accomplishments, The warp engine. "This here is our Warp Core, It is what allows us to get from place to place faster than light" he said looking at Navir

"Hmm.... I think some green Lantern ships have similar tech."Navir replied. Where as some Lanterns might have interest in the warp drive, he never found machinery all too interesting. "Are we going to remain in this space, orare we going to go to a plent?"Navir asked.

Hale nodded and he looked back at the engine core. "Though, Honestly the engines are not really engines" he said and he looked at the console and he pushed a few buttons, and he folded his arms "Hmm..." he pushed a few more buttons, and he looked at an engineer officer. "Check out plasma junction three" he said, and the engineer officer nodded and ran off

"Plasma junctions?"Navir asked, tilting his head in confusion.

Hale looked at Navir "A Plasma Junction is one of the main components in our electro-plasma system, or EPS for short. Basically it is our power system, and a Plasma Junction functions like a Power Junction" He said and he looked at Navir

Navir blinked, still confused. "Ooookay."He said. "So are we going to a planet or no?"He asked.

He nodded "As soon as we get power back to decks seven through twelve we should be good to go" he said and he looked at him, a bit curious "Though, it should be a simple fix...just replace the damaged EPS conduit with a new one...I wonder why it is taking so long..."

"Maybe they're confused by this weird junction thing?"Navir offered.

He shook his head "No, they should not be. They had extensive training on the sub-" he stopped when the ship rocked, not a little, like ALOT. Hale was thrown into a near by console, He groaned in pain, the lights turned off and emergency power kicked in, the red lights now on. Hale quickly went to the wall console to call the bridge, "Bridge, this is the captain...what is going on?" he asked urgently, but in pain all the same. He got no answer, comms had been knocked out. He checked the ship for damage and he froze in place and gasped "Dear god..." he said gently, there was a massive hole in the side of the ship like it exploded, no telling how many injured or dead there were now.

"Are we under attack?"Navir asked. "Do you want me to try and fix the hole?"Navir suggested. A small ship soon came out of warp. On board were four aliens, none of which had ever been encountered by Star command.

(You were close, Star Fleet Command is the full term, basically the military and exploration force of the Federation.)

The ship has already gone to red alert, as the ship automatically had subroutines to activate weapons and shields in the event of ship damage. Hale looked at Navir "If you can, I must goto the bridge." he said and he ran off to the bridge

On the bridge, Hale looked to his communication's officer "Hail that ship" he ordered

Navir nodded, flying off to where the hole was located, soon plugging it up with a large green construct.

"Master Turash, we're getting a communication request."Jal'rro said, looking back at his master. "Well, answer them."Turash replied. Jal'rro nodded, flipping the switch to the communications. "Greetings, this is the Quarem Knight Turash. Why have you contacted us?"Turash asked. His features were vaguely similar to Gorn, though his scales were a deep green, and had more monitor-lizard like appearance.
