The Nura's cannons cease firing to begin recharging, the prolonged beam mode causing excessive energy usage, leaving the ship mostly defense less aside from it's close defense guns and what seemed to be a pinpoint barrier system.
Without notice the woman's voice come over the comms "Federation Vessel, if are you equipped with non-beam weaponry, Advised to engage with them. We are going deploying anti-beam depth charges. If not, retreat from the battle space."

Hale looked at his tactical officer, he then looked at the view screen "We have Photon torpedoes and Tricobalt charges" he said folding his arms "However...that would make both you and me vulnerable to boarding parties by the borg" he commented

"Beam onto it?"Nakaj asked. "Maybe they have some srot of new technology?"Jal'rro offered. Nakaj shrugged, pulling out his lightsaber, ready to activate it once this 'borg' arrived. His lightsaber vaguely resembled a very, very large flashlight, though it had multipel buttons and grooves on it. Jal'rro's was similar, but much longer.
A middle aged woman's face appeared on the screen, as the comm channel was changed to video as well, her expression stern. What looked like machinery and other cybernetic parts and armor could seen along with a crew of similar looking women in the back ground "Do you mean to say that your forces lack the ability to defend effectively against the abominations? Biologicals can be such slow learners."
The woman turned towards off screen as the Nura rocked from a hit "Hurry with the recharging of the main batteries and switch to burst mode. As soon as the field clears, hit all nanite vessel's with every weapon."

He eyed the lady "I never said that, we have been fighting the Borg for over forty years, we know how to fight them." he said and he looked to his tactical officer "It will just pose a new challenge" he said, the Tactical officer nodded "I will begin pulsing the phaser array now"

"Teleportation?"Jal'rro asked skeptically. "Apparantly."Nakaj asked. He glanced around the room, still waiting for this boarding party.

Moments later, what seemed like hundreds of small streaks of light issue from the hull of the Nura, spreading across the battlefield as only missiles could before exploding, producing visible green clouds of particles that quickly create a 'fog'. Outside of the ships phasers, lasers and other beam-type weapons performance drops almost instantly, the particles making up the fog halting the reactions of the fired weapons. It was now time to close to 'knife fighting' range with more traditional ballistic weapons.
Those on board the Nura clearly had some form of combat tactics against the Borg, though it appeared the believed that the other forces in the battle did not need to know anything other then simple warnings.

The Borg ships lost power to their cutting beams, however they than just began to launch their Borg Nanite Plasma torpedoes. These torpedoes drained shield power.

Once the Borg were beamed onto the ship, Nakaj and Jal'rro activated their lightsabers, with Nakaj's blade being large with a blue color, where as Jal'rro's had two blades coming out of opposite sides of the hilt. The two charged, deflecting any blasts from the borg back at the origin. Jal'rro sliced through one of the Borg, before a blast of lightning escaped his fingers, blasting another borg.
Several small missiles from the Nura quickly followed through the new hole in the shield, striking the Nanite Sphere before being followed by a bright white light. The sphere was only moderately damaged by the blast, but enough to briefly disable it.
All along the length of the Nura her point defense weapons fired even as her barrier system stopped what it could, though not everything. Two Borg plasma torpedoes manage to slip through and slam into the right side of theNura, mangling her upper right turret, launch bay doors and catapult. It was the first truly serious injury the Nura had taken thus far.

Klaang spun to face the two when he heard the buzz of the light saber. He slowly folded his arms and laughed "Quiet the fancy gear you two are carrying..." he commented, "I have seen Romulan scientist making energy based Bat'leth's or Lirpa's, but you two have something special..." he said as he looked at the two with a grin.

A small ship flew from the surface of the planet into space, the ship was of Federation design, it was also pretty tiny. Being only about one hundred and twenty meters long. However, its power source was nearly four times more powerful than a ship of its size had, the ship was also extremely fast, dodging Borg fire with ease. It was a Defiant class, it was one of the first pure combat vessels the Federation made. It aimed its weapons at the damaged sphere, and fired its four rapid fire pulse phasers at the sphere. Pulse Phasers were more like cannons then beams, so the anti-beam depth charges had no effect on it. The Pulse Phasers ripped threw the hull, then it fired two blue quantum torpedoes and blew the sphere up. The Defiant class then spun around quickly and began to fire on one of the Tactical Cubes.

The two continued cutting through the Borg. Slowly the cyborg aliens were being over run by the federation troopers and the two former Jedi.
The largest of the three AUS ships finally appears, tearing through the remains of the most recent destroyed sphere. If the sphere had been intact the 5500 meter long Ra-Lua would have charged clear through it. Once out of slipspace the vessel begins to attack the Borg. Soon it's two escorts arrive, one already damaged from what looked like a previous fight, the other exiting and forming up beside the Nura.

Crashing through and destroying their ranks she comes to a sliding stop on her back side in front of the two Jedi and the federation troops "Whoa! Don't shoot! Don't shoot! Friendly!
