This might belong in RP discussion but right now I mostly just want feedback on the idea.

Ok so this idea has been going around in my head for a while now. I got to thinking, what if there were the four original horsemen of the apocalypse; which as far as I can tell are Conquest, War, Famine and Death. What if they were old human families that God had chosen to fulfil these roles when the apocalypse came? In modern day four people find out that their families were the ones that were chosen. They find this out because they are being called upon to prepare themselves for their roles in the coming apocalypse. These four find each other after they find out. How do they react? Do they resist their roles or try to stop the apocalypse from happening?

I still have to do some research on this but I just haven't been able to get this idea out of my head. So I thought I'd share with you guys! ^^

I did mention that this might belong in the RP discussion, and that's because I was thinking of using it as an RP topic and help me figure out how to get this idea out and into words. I would try and direct the RP in the general direction I want it to go from one of the 'horsemen.' That would mean that I need the three other 'horsemen' and probably some extra characters as well. Friends, family, that sort of thing. Of course, the horsemen don't all have to be men. I'm thinking of playing a girl myself.

If you do want to do the RP, I want to make some things clear.

• I do plan on making this into a book that I will write. That means I will (at the very least) base the character in the book on the character who is in the RP.
• If you have a problem with this I can change names, and maybe change the character in the book a bit. Since I will already have an idea of your character in my head though, the book character probably won't be a whole lot different.
• Basically, if you don't want me to use your character in my book, please don't join the RP.
• That said, if you want me to change or leave out smaller things about your character, just tell me. I can do those small changes in the book without completely throwing it out of whack with what ideas and events I gain from the RP.
• Remember, I want to try and start a book out of this, so it won't really work if you want me to make huge changes to your character or take them out completely.

Actually you're the first one to reply! This is a little something I typed up for my Creative Writing class since it was hard to concentrate on writing a different story while this idea was dominating my brain space. It was just something I whipped up real quick, and we don't have to follow it. It wasn't as good as I wanted it to be anyways...

The only thing I'd really like to keep from this^ is the weapons and the horses.

Sure! There's Conqueror (aka Pestilence aka Antichrist), War, Famine, and Death. A new character created for this RP would be preferable, but characters you already have can be adapted to fit into the setting if you don't want to make a new one.

Ohh, I'm not sure if I want death or War.... Hmmm, I think I want.....War.... Yeah, I'll take war.. And I'll make a new character today.

WhiteWolf said he could fill in for Famine! If anyone else wants to join they can. I'm sure the four of us are very ready to start as soon as possible so I'll only wait a day or two before starting the RP.
