I'm moving on the 29th/30th, then I will return to the roleplays waiting for me on here...
But I'm so so so so so excited. Insanely excited. I can't sleep, eating is hard...
I just want to move NOW. NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW.
I'll be able to leave the house because it's a main floor and no huge two staircases anymore!
And it's bigger and nicer and keknfijewoflkm iuofijlkenhiuofjikm....
I'm gunna explode I swear.
Any suggestions to calm myself? Lists? Plans? I JUST NEED TO CALM DOWN. BUT I CAN'T.
I WANT IT TO HAPPEN NOW AND OH MY GOSH I'M SUPPOSED TO BE AN ADULT AND I'M TURNING 22 NEXT MONTH AND I'M ACTING LIKE THIS.
...Suggestions would be loved.

My advice? DON'T Calm down. That's right, Don't. Put that extra energy to good use and start packing! Non-essentials first--leaving only the barebones of what you need so that way you'll be mostly packed by the time you really are moving out.
Congrats on the new place! I'm excited for you!

If you can, plank pose for 30+ seconds. It works every muscle in your body at once, especially if you get the alignment right.
If your body is full of adrenaline for any reason, it can feel really bizarre and uncomfortable if it isn't being put to physical use. Plank pose will help that adrenaline find its way to your muscles and burn the edge off it -- afterward you will probably have more of your brain under control to put that energy to good use. Dancers often use plank pose to settle stage fright and stage excitement because it is SO efficient.
And there are tons of things you can do to get ready for a move in the meanwhile, if you are able to get those moments of clarity to think about them! Put in a change of address card at the post office! Put in a notice of changing address to any bills you have -- credit cards, gas, electric, phones, internet, whatever.
Create a custom google map with a pin on your new address, and then different icons for everything in the area you're going to need or want -- look up grocery stores, banks, interesting restaurants, libraries, hardware stores, etc. etc. I LOVE keeping a custom google map. You can share it with new roommates or people who are going to visit as time goes on to quickly orient them to the area. They will love it as much as you do!

We've already packed everything we're not using. Decorations, movies, extra blankets, dishes we don't commonly use, soaps, bathroom stuff (other than shampoo and soap, ect), all sorts of things.
Nothing but furniture, clothes, dishes, and our computers are out.
And thank you very much! I'm excited! SOOO EXCITED. Ahhhh....!

I'll give that a try! The planking thing sounds like it will help a lot!
And I've never done a change of address thing at the post office. I didn't when I moved here... should I though? I'm slowly writing notes to deliver to doctors, banks, ect. And have the internet company set to come moving day in the afternoon.
I've never done a custom google map! Thank you though, I'll do that now.
Thank you again!
Custom google maps are super duper super fun. I them.
Change of address with the post office is rarely required but can be butt-saving in some cases. It only take a few seconds to fill out and then you can just hand it in, usually they don't even make you stand in line, so I would recommend it for sure. Some counties even let you do it online now. It will help to catch any direct change of addresses that you forget to do -- so if you forget to change your address with your cell phone company, for example, and they send a bill to your old address, the post office has a chance of catching that and delivering it to your new address anyway so that your cell phone service doesn't get cut off and your credit rating doesn't get screwed up. </<
Plank pose is so good for you mentally and physically. Everybody everywhere should find 30 to 60 seconds for it in their day. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I might go do the change of address then!
I did a custom google map, soooo much fun! Also helped me learn what's near me or not near me anymore.
Very, very helpful.
With the plank pose, you have to balance on something laying face down right?

No no, that's "planking," which is a weird meme.
Plank pose is basically upper push-up. You get into a position like you're going to do a pushup, but never do the pushup. While you're doing it, think of drawing your shoulders down your back (my teachers say "Don't wear your shoulders as earrings!"), make sure you aren't locking your elbows, and try not to stick your butt up. When it's getting hard, the more you can think about correcting those things the less you will have to think about how tiring it is!

Ohh I see. Very interesting, thank you!
Figure out the bus routes of wherever you're moving, if you take the bus often.
