((For this RP I'm bumping Taylor's age up to mid twenties. I just didn't have any other characters that really fit.))
The year is 2041. The world has been plunged into a third world war between the Human Coalition and Doctor Vane's monstrous creations. Doctor Vane created a serum that caused an incomplete mutation, the gold seen in the eyes of certain humans. Using this serum the doctor turned these humans into animal like creatures with superhuman speed and superhuman strength.
Using special frequencies, Doctor Vane controls these creatures to wage war against humanity in a vial attempt to control the world. Not all with these special eyes were turned into 'golden eyes', as they are called. A small percentage maintained their human characteristics, their free will, and their minds, but also harnessed the strength and speed of the 'golden eyes'.
Seven years later, the war still continues. Taylor Armiger, one of the partial turned 'golden eyes' (reffered to as Bronze Eyes), now fights with a small group of soldiers who are also 'Bronze Eyes' like him. Like all 'Bronze Eyes', Taylor had been captured by 'Golden Eyes' and brought to one of the Doctor's facilities to be administered the serum. When the serum didn't work he was put in a temporary holding cell to be experimented on later. When the base was attacked by Human Coalition forces, Taylor was freed and was enlisted soon after.
As the chopper's blades hummed above where he sat in it's interior, Taylor checked the ammo in his rifle. He was being sent into his first mission after more training than he thought was necessary. Four other 'Bronze Eyes' either sat or stood in the chopper with Taylor, not including the pilot and copilot. They were being flown in to a known serum facility. This was the same type of facility that Taylor and his squad mates had been broken out of when the experiments had failed on them.
"You guys ready for this?" He asked, his voice almost shaky. Boks, another 'Bronze Eye' with a last name Taylor felt was odd to say, nodded. Taylor nodded in return, acknolwedging his action. "What about you guys?" He asked, turning to the others. Pierce nodded as well.
"Heck yeah, Armiger," Dyren called out, using Taylor's last name. Some went last names, like Taylor, Dyren, and Boks (who also went as Bach as a nickname). Some went by nicknames, like Pierce due to the high powered rifle he carries. Taylor turned his attention to Prometheus for his answer.

"Ready as I can be." The echoey voice came out of large suit he wore. He grabbed one of the straps around his shoulder and adjusted it. He carried his gun by a large handle, another hand keeping him steady in the chapter. "Where will we be landing?"
"There's a river about ten clicks off of the base. We're landing on the enemy's side of the river," Taylor explained, recalling the debriefing. "After that we march a few miles under the cover of the night, which won't really help us avoid detection by 'golden eyes' but it will help us not be spotted by any of his human soldiers."
"Bloody traitors they are," Pierce spat, a thick accent coming from under an equally thick mustache. "Traded their own race for a seat to watch the world burn."
As they spoke the river came into sight. "Get ready to repel," said the pilot. Soon enough it was time.
"Drop the ropes!" Came a command, and the ropes attached to the helicopter were pushed over the side. Two at a time the 'bronze eyes' grabbed the ropes and zipped down to the floor below. Taylor fanned out with his battle buddies. "Prometheus, you see anything?" He asked. There would be nothing out this far, but it was still good to check. Their partial mutation granted them fair vision in the dark, enough to see in total darkness as if the moon was glowing bright overhead.

"Nothing." Prometheus said. The sighthole in his mask gave a soft yellow glow. "We should be good, unless they buried themselves." He added. His gun was still being held be a large handle in his right hand, not being held like a gun at all. "Which way from here? We should get moving."
