So as it turns out, my Canadian friend had a 3DS with a European region lock. It's kind of inconvenient to have a European console when you can only buy American games. So he gave it to me. Another friend dumped Pokemon Y into my lap to play on it.

I basically upgraded from a GBC (Pokemon Red, 14 years ago.... wow) to a 3DS and my mind = blown. I've played some other gens on emulators on my computer but holy shit the 3DS is amazing and it feels good to play on a console again!

SO. Does anyone else play Pokemans X/Y and does anyone else want to exchange DS friend codes? We used to have a topic with friend codes but I can't find it anymore.

I'm not sure if non-members can view this page or not but it has a record of all the Pokemon RP Groups member friend codes as well as the version they play and the names to list them under.

I would love to play, but unfortunately, My 3DS broke about a month or two back (I swear those flip screens were DESIGNED to break after three minutes of opening them) HOWEVER! I will be getting a new one within 2-7 days, So when I DO get it I will be happy to send you my code (Though, I will probably need a weekend to get to the champion)

Friend safari is the safari zone. It is post game and everyone on your friends list gives you a safari of a certain type with 3 random pokemon.

The two Pokemon I'm really after right now are a Dratini and a ditto if it's a male, so I can breed the crap out of them.

That would be awesome! Would it be a terrible inconvenience to get a female Dratini? If it is I'll happily take a male too and see about fetching a Ditto.

Just want to let everyone I got the Pokerus. I'll be spreading it to my party after midnight and I'll have some infected dummies to trade for those who want it. Just hit me up.
