"Just someone he wanted to pick up? Then why did my mom insist on coming with you guys? And why the hell am I here then? Just a bootycall?" She wasn't gonna admit it but she felt dirty, like a hooker picked up from the streets, the way he said it was rude and hurtfull.

While she held on, she pouted. Just a pick up? Why the hell was she here then? She decided right there and then that the first change she got, she would leave and return home to her mom.

When the car landed her head banged against the side of the car. "God-dm- What the hell." With on hand on her head and the other holding on for dear life, she sat there, with a painfull look on her face. This wasn't what she expected when she got up this morning. Today was gonna be a normal day, like any other, with her in the shadows, not in the spotlights. Her mood went from 'normal a** day' to 'pissed so don't talk to me'.

OOC: Okay, I'm gonna sleep aswell. Till tomorrow.

There was static on the line, then a deep, male voice cut in with the authority of someone used to being listened to without question. "This is the Captain. Listen if you want to make it through this. You need to turn left in approximately forty-seven meters, as an agent of Croupier is at the other entrance. Don't waste time questioning this."

He was, clearly, a man used to having orders followed the moment he barked them.

OOC Well--hi. Player of Captain Kline reporting, and suppressing the urge to call him Colonel Klink.

Sly was ginning, he stepped out of the car and fist bumped House "You and me both partner!". He unloaded his gun and put his phone on a table where men and women alike were taking all gadgets and weapons for testing, maintenance and upgrades.

Sly cocked a brow "Erm, Captain we're already at the HQ, we beat the FF soldiers to the entrance first" he looked at House and silently mouthed "What?..." to the order he was given. He approached Allison with a cup of water and handed it to her "it's rough the first time around" he said holding it out to her.

When she walked into a bunker-like room, she couldn't help but notice it all had an underground feel to it. After ignoring Sly and looking for a figure who showed leadership, The captain to be precise, she walked around a bit. This was more then just a myth, she realised. This was a huge operation and lots of people were apart of it. "So? Where is this Captain person? And can he finally tell me why I'm here if not for a damn booty call?" Her arms were crossed over her chest and she tapped one foot on the ground.

"I mean, my mom is in danger and no one has even considered of helping her. You were to busy ignoring me and killing people." Her tone was loud and harsh. Her mood was changed and how. At that point she couldn't care less of how rude she was being. This wasn't what she wanted, let alone be here with a couple of arrogant bastards.

That voice came over the ear pieces again, sounding a touch gruffer than before. "You'll be given information when you need it. Right now, there are Croupier agents in the vicinity, and I'm not going to jeopardize everything. And you may have beaten them there, but that doesn't mean you're safe. Not yet. I realize you're in unfamiliar territory, but you need to trust me just a little longer. We need to get you to the Beta Site before Croupier's agents find you. That's where I'll be waiting."

As he spoke, the man started to sound a bit more tense than he had before, a bit of displeasure threading its way through. Of course, there was a lot to be displeased about in general, but still.

House looked at Sly and shrugged. He spoke into the transponder. "Aye Captain." He then began to speak to Sly. "I'll deal with these agents. The Cap sounded stressed and oddly tense. You take her to him."

He knew Sly picked up on the oddities in the Captain's voice as well, based on the mouthed what. House knew the Captain knew that House had gone searching through Cap's files. He just hoped he didn't get shot for it. He was only trying to help, seeing his own family get torn apart by this war, he didn't want another to be.

He grabbed an extra clip from the car and began to head for the entrance.
"Wish me good hunting, sweet cheeks?" he asked Allison.

She rolled her eyes at the sweet cheeks. "Yeah good luck killing more people who are only protecting their own families." She wasn't gonna hide her being annoyed, especially not when she was moved to the wrong HQ. "So? What the hell now? You brought all those people here without knowing it was safe? There are kids here. " She started pasing around in the room.

Then she suddenly stopped. "Hey hold on, can you make sure my moms okay? Please?" She walked towards house and almost begged him. Her attitude and mood was gone and her face showed how worried she was. "Please make sure she knows I'm okay? Or go get one of those special phones you can throw away? I really need to be in contact with her." She got a bit teary eyed, but stopped it before anyone noticed that she was about to cry. She couldn't afford to seem emotional.

Once again, the Captain's voice came over the communications link. "Alright, we'll let your mother know you're safe--but contact with her is too dangerous right now. Her knowing that you're alright will have to be enough. And House--be careful. I don't want to bury anyone today, am I clear?"

Beneath the gruff exterior, he genuinely cared for his people. That didn't stop him from giving a verbl lashing if he felt it warranted--but he'd also move mountains to keep his people safe if he had to.

OOC: dont leave me behind

"First of all, this is as safe as it gets chick, Second, Those people destroy families under their own free will... we do it because we don't have a choice... at least we fight for a purpose where as they just want to purge all men" She should understand, these people are counting on Soldiers that fight for PAFF.

"Cap'm, I'm coming up with Allison, are you sure she's ready to see you?" He asked him outright because he knew she didn't know who the Captain was. Someone came over with His gun and handed it to him. He flipped it around, cocked it and slid it into his holsters.

A tall brunette in a lab coat approached him, she smiled and hugged Sly tightly "Hey Sly" she whispered "I'm glad you're safe"
"Don't worry, you know i'll be alright" He kissed her forehead, she seemed to be a few years younger than him. "You're the only important thing i have left..." He whispered against her soft skin.
"Remember" She said as she pulled away and handed him a syringe "You promised me you'd always come back" she left with her notepad in hand.
"I guess i did" He said chuckling to himself.

He looked at Allison with a smile then motioned for her to follow him. He took the cap off the needle of the syringe and looked for his vain on his right forearm, digging the needle deep into it, he injected the fluid into his arm "I have diabetes and trust me, It's tough fighting a war with it" He Tossed the needle into the a trash can near him then took her to the Captain. She was in for a shocker!

OOC: Sorry! I come from MUSHes where post order is more strict, so I'm not used to the subtleties of "post when it suits" on forums. I'll wait for others now!

OOC: You and me both Aaron, I'm trying to go after Allison.

"Look most of those people don't kill anyone. Ms. Coupier is the one destroying people. You kill someone because you think its necessary, well they think the same about you. They have to for their families. And even so, not everyone who stands on Ms. Coupiers side actually agrees. But you are to narrow minded to get that. You only see it from this side." Her tone was harsh. How could someone be apart of an anti terror group and kill people?

"I get that you want to protect your family or whatever is left. I know how that is because my mom is also the only one I have left. My dad died to protect me. But you need to understand that you are not the only one who thinks like that. Ms. Coupier has her thumb on a lot of peoples life." Her tone got softer, her mom was one of those lifes.

After seeing the injection she stopped to look at it. "You know they have permanent solutions for that right? Its not 2014 anymore." She laughed at the joke she knew most people weren't gonna get. Oh what could she do? She was an antique nerd. When no one laughed with her she cleared her throat and changed the subject. "So euhm- are we gonna go or what?"

House walks to the standard door several feet away from the garage door. He takes a breath, he crosses himself, not out of belief, but because he thought it looked cool, and opened the door a hair of a crack.

There were 4 guys out there. Two of which had body armor. They didn't seem to notice the opening of the door, as they were preoccupied with trying to find the hidden garage opening. He opened the door wide enough to fit the silenced pistol through the opening. He lined up his first shot, man closest to him who was steadily crawling toward him, trying to find the gap on the ground.

House took a breath and pulled the trigger. It went straight through his head, and the man fell lifeless. The other guards looked in his direction immediately. "Crap." He said under his breath asa he pushed the door open and began to shoot the guards. He hit one in the right shoulder, so he was down for the count. He got one with a vest in the upper thigh. House chuckled as he thought about a nut shots. He missed the last guard, who by now had his gun pulled.

"Aaaahh!" He yelled as he rush the last guard. The guard shot him in the left shoulder before they tumbled to the ground. House beat him repeatedly with the pistol until the guard was unconscious. He stumbled up and knocked the secret password to get the door opened, hoping a tech or Allison was nearby.

OOC: Poke?

OOC: Pokey-pokey? Ahem. For the moment, Kline is just a voice, so for my part, I was letting everyone else have a go or two.

"Heh, yea, cuz they'll give a cure to a guy... it's process to cure diabetes, not an injection" he chuckled at her naivety. He took her to a flight of stairs, that lead into the main building. Their cover was a corporate building by the name of AltTech. The owner, Mr Lockney, handed what remained of his power to his wife, Mrs Lockney. She keeps him hidden and keeps the resistance hidden at the bottom of their large skyscraper but lately, the number of FF soldiers have increased within a 5 mile radius of AltTech.

"There's a bin on the left hand side of the Captain's desk" he said placing a hand on the room door that lead to the captain's room "If you're going to barf, use it". He pushed open the door "She's here Cap'm"

"Actually, mom told me there are portable mini processes now. Anyway, if you want I can ask her if she can get me one. I mean, I would totally do that for mister sunshine himself." She gave him a sarcastic smile.

When she stood for the door, she felt a bit weird. Why would someone so important as the captain want to see her? Her eyes narrowed and she arched an eyebrow. "Why the hell would I need to barf?" Both of her hands rested on her hips and her left hip was lifted higher then the right. These people acted like I was about to meet God or Jesus in person.

She opened the door and her jaw dropped and she gasped. Her hand covered her mouth as she couldn't believe what she saw. Her face showed betrayal and confusion. There he stood, her so called 'dead' father. How was this possible? All of these questions ran through her head. Why did mom tell her he was dead? Too whom's funeral did we go? And those were just the first ones.

Still standing infront of the door opening, with Sly on her left enjoying the show, probably. Suddenly she moved towards him, her hand in the air, finger pointed and her mouth open like she was about to say something. But then she stopped and shook her head. She muttered a few words, non of which were understandable. She closed her mouth, her face was intense. All kinds of emotions at a time. You could see little wheels turning while she figured out how the hell this was happening. One step was taken as she opened her mouth again, ready to say something. "I-No.." After the no she turned around and walked through the door, closing it behind her. "No, well-I. No" Both of her hands were fists and she put her right fist to her mouth.

"Daddy?" She said teary eyed and that was the first time in years she cried again. Instantly, she opened the door again and walked to the tall man with force, her fists next to her body. It looked as if she was gonna go mental on the man, but no. She literally jumped in the mans arms, both her arms aruond his neck. She wasn't the emotional type but at that point she couldn't care less about Sly looking, or even hearing him sigh or laugh. She cried like a little baby because she finally had her dad back.
