Despite my character's tendency toward nudity, I play her clean. But because one page of her profile contains nudity, I have to mark of the whole profile. Would it be possible to allow ratings by page? Or to hide tagged images in the profile too instead of only hiding them from feeds? I worry that I might be written off as a smut seeker.
And/or could there be tiered rating or something to give a better idea why something got tagged? Other rating systems have adult content groups - R, NC-17, X. I'm fine with most general things, but sometimes I come across something that I wish I could un-see, but that apparently fits within site rules.

The system we currently have already confuses people and often people don't tag their profiles for things that are very clearly outlined in the rules, so adding a more elaborate rating system seems a bad idea to me. If people already don't tag their profile for very basic rules, I can only imagine the confusion and frustration for both users and moderators when things aren't tagged in a bigger system.
Having images handled separately from a profile wide warning is also not something I'm in favor for myself anymore. There's the issue of people using non-gallery images that cannot be marked properly, or people not using a proper warning system when they do, and so forth. Then a 13 year old stumbles onto a picture with nipples that's not labeled right, bam, lawsuit from the parents because the site allows porn to be seen by minors. A profile-wide tag just tells people "Hey, there's stuff inside of here that may be sexual in nature", which is a huge fail-safe method of warning users of potential content. You cannot go into a profile without seeing this tag or enabling the content in your settings, so everything inside is covered by this warning.
I don't know if there has been anything in development behind the scenes for altering the rating guidelines, but in my opinion the way they are set up right now is fine. It covers all bases and RPR doesn't get into legal issues with anything. The current setup is the most simplistic version and people still struggle with it, so I just don't think it'd be a good idea to change it to be more complex.

This part is DEFINITELY planned.
