Ah trust that two way path that always seemed to bite him in the bum. It was the reason why he was in this situation to begin with and he'd rather not have to go through again. Although at this point what other choice did he have other then turning himself in as a pirate. That, that was on thing that wasn't going to happen. "Alright, if you say so then we'll go with that, Missy. Not many other options."
And it would seem that option was having a huge amount of issues. Vince had remained sitting when the woman had stood up but soon enough pushed himself up out of the chair with the rising sound of the voices coming from the bar. Seems like they were going to rise a bigger fuss, if anything the shouting was bad enough. He glanced back over at his new crew member letting out a small chuckle. "Shall we then, before more trouble starts up."
A quick drink to finish off what he had left of his drink before stepping around the chair to push it back in. No sense in letting the booze go to waste when he had paid for it. Now on to other things.

King nodded her head solemnly. The more she watched them the more conflicted she began to feel. Sure her gut was telling her to just move on in. That they'd help her in her quest for fortune. But her brain... her brain wwas telling her that anytime spent aroung that dramatic cat thing would turn her brain to mush.
Complete and utter mush.
Kicking the more logical side of herself away she sauntered up to the counter and leaned over the bar, closer to the girl than the cat.
"Uh," she cleared her throat as her brain screamed mush behind her ears,"I see yer starting a bit of trouble here. Now the Missing Finger isn't well known for quality but I can show you were the best, sweetest, most refreshing beverages are hidden in this city. For a price of course."

"HEY!"Begad shouted as Kara quickly grabbed him off the counter. "Please show me a better place to go!"Kara said. She really just wanted to leave. She didn't care if Begad got a new better tasting drink or not, she just wanted him to stop screaming about donkey piss and terrible orange juice.
Vince laughed slightly seeing her walk off to go confront the trouble making pair, but of course he didn't want to be left out entirely. He saw no point in leaving her to do all the work besides by the way she had looked she didn't seem too found of the cat thing.
Vince took up spot near the male of the two, leaning his elbow against the counter as he tilted his hat back so that it wasn't shadowing as much. "But you have yet to hear the price, that's not a very bold move if I say so myself." He perked up at the girl practically jumping on at going to a better place. Although his gaze then turned to creature near him. "And you. You aught to pipe down, you don't get anything by demanding and being rude to the fine ladies who runs the bar. Some of us might be a tad bit barbaric but that only returns...well donkey piss." After saying that he couldn't help but to laugh slightly at that.

"Yeah I know, I've got a temper sorry. But when you waste perfectly good donkey piss like that, then you've crossed a line!"Begad said, throwing his arms about in exagerated gestures, despite being held by Kara. "So long as the price isn't slavery of any kind, or sex, I don't care what it is! Besides if I can't afford it I can just leave and find the palce she's talking about on my own."Kara said.
Mush her mind screamed, louder now. She wasn't exactly sure what was being said at this point. For her own protection, it seemed, her mind had blanked out. Or maybe she was just really drunk. Monkey Snot, the beverage not the actual thing, was known to be extremely strong for such a cheap drink. That's why she ordered it almost exclusively.
Or maybe she was just zoning out to fantasies of sailing the seas and looting all over the place. She wasn't really sure anymore of anything.
Except that she didn't want to hear anymore about donkey piss.
"Mayhaps this be not the place to be discussing our price, yes? The Missing Finger has very thin walls and a few... uh... water guard connections if you two catch my drift," she murmured finally as she caught Michalla's eyes which were shifting every so slightly in warning. Obviously through this little ordeal someone of notability had walked in. Someone who enforced the law on the high seas.

If that wasn't a hint as any that they wouldn't want to draw any more attention to themselves he wouldn't know what was. To be caught a second time wouldn't be any good for him, that would be death without any questions the second time around. "...Yes I would think it would be best to move some place more... private." He then added on with a stern look directed towards the cat thing. "Without any more shouting or drawing attention would be nice.
Vince pulled his hat back down, moving around the group and over towards king, his eyes flicking around the place as he did. What an exciting day it would be, though not welcomed, to add on running from the law to his list of things that had happened today.

"Okay, well let's go then, before Begad starts watering flowers with somebody's blood."Kara said. "Ey! I'll have you know blood isn't the best thing to give to a plant."Begad said crossing his arms.
King smiled slightly and offered the barmaid a swift nod of appreciation. She had gone a longtime without drawing too much attention to herself and she wanted to keep it that way. Sure some knew of her as the woman looking in the most unusual places for work but that was all. If anyone, especially fanyone in the navy, was to find out her true idenity, that of a siren, she wouldn't be safe anywhere. Land or sea.
"Well I know of a particularly great spot farther out town. If you'd just follow after me," she stated clearly before brushing past Vince and moving towards the door. There was a small shack rihht out the city walls. It was abandonned but she often found herself their in an attempt to save money, though she had more than enough to rent a room just about anywhere and Michalla had offered, more than once, her own room. Though she always declined.
it would be odd to be back out at sea, she decided. It had been a while since she'd ventured too far out. She wanted to avoid running into any of her sisters for as long as possible. But that wasn't really an option now. Which was just as well. She missed them terribly.

Kara nodded, quickly following King. "Why do you always have to cause trouble?"Kara asked Begad. "Hey, I'm a spirit. We don't mix with mortals too well. Others wise your head would still be firmly attached to your body!"Begad said.
Vince turned to watch as the female went by him, staying in his spot for a moment before he glanced back at the other two. "Shall we then?" He said with a small grin spreading across his face. He might as well follow after her seeing how she was helping him out for the time being and that so far gave her a stare in his book. It could have been worse, she could of had a horrible attitude like the one who threw him off his own ship. Don't get him wrong though, he was still iffy about them all. The cat probably not so much if he had been a proper...human.
Odd things showing up, that he had only heard of in sorties, ones that were mostly just big blurs of memories at this point from way back when. Shoving his hands into his pockets he proceeded to move his feet, following after the woman to this spot she knew of.

It didn't take too long to get there, considering that every few steps someone was calling out for King to join into some fun or another. The children had been especially excited to see her and even a few women offered her a few free meals. So maybe her profile wasn't kept so low but she kept out of trouble and had played her part as the fool with none the wiser to her true motives.
The shack was just a bit better off than the average derelict cabin in the woods. Before it stood weeds wrapped around each other giving it an all together unkept feel. She took a cautious steps forward until she reached the door. She slammed the door open and sighed kn relief when she saw that it was just as empty and dusty as she had left it.
"Well step into me humble abode as they say. Be careful because the first step is well... a doosy," she said cheerfully as she stepped over the wooden blank right infront of the door. She found that that specific board was quite unstable and she didn't feel like having to fix it again. Or seeing any blood which was bound to happen if someone went through the floor.

KAra nodded, carefully avoiding the plank. "How come you live out here?"Kara asked. She looked around the dusty old cabin. Thankfully she was already used to staying in old wooden homes thansk to living most of her life with her grandmother.
Oop:Mind if I add in the Headsman? I don't have a profile up for him, or have his info on Kara's page, but I do have an image of him on it. I also don't have him too fleshed out either so figured this would be a good way to do so.

Vince was the last one in, taking his own step over the broken floor board into the shack. He glanced around the place, a good of place as any to discuss delicate dealings without many hearing. Who in their mind would think to look into a place that barely looked like anyone lived in it. By his own impression if someone had been living in it, it would look neater then it did. Perfect. Now they only needed to real in a pair of hands to help steal and run a ship.
"I use it so I don't have to spend money in the city on a room. And I like my privacy," King hinted with her last sentence. The last thing she wanted to do was have them know about her secret stash. Especially if the plan was to steal a ship. Then with whatever loot they later plundered she'd be able to split wuite amicably and get her own ship. Something small and effective was more her style anyway. The idea of having to split her ultimate treasure with a crew was... unsatisfactory.
"Now, Captain why not let the stranglings in on the price of our deal?"
"Now, Captain why not let the stranglings in on the price of our deal?"
"Strangelings?"Kara asked. "Psst, I think she's talking about you"Begad whispered to Kara. "So what is htis 'price'?" Kara asked, ignoring what Begad said.
The blonde's attention was pulled back towards the small group as he scratched his head. "Ah. I find myself in need of a crew... again." Although two females wouldn't have been his first choice on that. "And a ship. Miss-" He had held his hand out towards the lady to indicate her, but he stopped short fingers curling back up. His brows furrowed as he gave a glance to the woman, realizing he had never even caught her name to begin with. Great way to start off, without knowing what to call anyone.
"Ummm... I don't believe I know your name yet. A shame really, you'd think I would have asked for it."
"Ummm... I don't believe I know your name yet. A shame really, you'd think I would have asked for it."
"King," she said with a bright smile. She too had forgotten to ask anyone's name. More because she just didn't care than anything else. She figured the Captain would be called 'Captain' and the strangelings would be called... 'strangelings'. They seemed pretty close so why even come up with a nickname for them separately.
"I guess than that this calls for an introduction, does it not? We know who I am and what of you... three?"
"I guess than that this calls for an introduction, does it not? We know who I am and what of you... three?"
"My name's Kara, and this is Begad."Kara introduced. "Uh, it's nice to meet you King."She added. "Can ya put me down now?"Begad asked. "I would but I don't want you to run back to that tavern and punch someone in the eye.
"Vince." He gave off his name in loo of everyone else giving an introduction to the group. The man didn't care much weather he was called captain Vince or not, as as the crew recognized that fact. "Alright so King-" Odd name that was for a female. "Figured that you two would be the best pick to be joining seeing how it would be difficult to pilot a ship with only two."
