"I'm hungry too," grumbled Malice. The hot dog she had wasn't enough to satisfy her, and she was eyeing the squirrel couple they'd passed earlier.

"Let's go ahead and go before Malice kidnaps someone," suggested Sparky. "Do we have a squirt bottle? We should."

"I can order a Super Soaker off of the interwebs."Toram offered. "What places are there to eat at?"Abelith asked.

"I think a Super Soaker would be overdoing it though...wouldn't it?" Porter blinked. Surely Malice wasn't that bad. "We could always just keep snacks around and throw them at her when she starts getting hungry."

Malice let out a low rumble at the micros. At Porter's remark, she smirked. "I like her idea. In case you're wondering what I'd like; cheetons, golden fish, rats, and jerky." She counted off a few restaurants in response to Abelith. "Chicken Train, McDonny's, Expressway, and more. Plenty of places to prowl."

"Are there any asian food places nearby?"Rezai asked.

"Oooh, look! Panda Track!" Porter grinned. "I love their spring rolls!" She smiled and jogged ahead of the group to get to the Chinese-themed food section of the food court, where a panda ironically worked as cashier.

Sparky looked at Toram and shrugged. Malice was busy giggling, seeing the cashier. She followed Porter, being able to mostly keep up without running thanks to her long stride. Browsing the menu, she thought about the balance on her e-card. "Hm... Three plates of red chicken and chow down noodles, please."

"Lots and Lots of Teriyake chicken for me!"Toram declared to the panda. "Chao mein please."Rezai said.

Porter smiled. "I'll have bonbour chicken and white rice, aaaand two spring rolls. Oh, and some lucky cookies."

Hurriedly, the poor panda man worked at fulfilling all the orders. He was pretty quick at least, and soon was checking them all out. "Here you go." He slid all three orders to their proper orderees.

Toram eagerly took the plate of teriyake Chicken, not waiting to start eating. Another odd trait of his species become apparant when it was revealed that his tongue was much like Rezai's, shooting out and grabbing onto some chicken before retracting into his mouth.

Malice gladly took her plate and sat at one of the booths, eagerly scarfing down the food. It was revealed that she had a blue, luminescent mouth, and that her tongue was long and prehensile when she snatched at a piece of chicken, similar to how Toram did. Sparky shivered, stealing one of her noodles. That was enough to fill him up.

After a short while Toram had devoured his meal. He licked off any Teriyake sauce that he got on his claws.

The next day, the tiger lay on her back on her giant bean bag. On her snout was Sparky, who she was balancing on her nose while he recited the period table. It was a great focus exercise and time-waster.

Malice yawned,clearly bored, and nearly sent Sparky plummeting into her mouth. Again. "Anything you guys wanna do? We could... Nah, I got nothing."

"Why isn't this accursed piece of junk working?!"Abelith asked angrily, shaking the tablet she got the day before. "I was told it worked by touching the screen! I've touched the screen and nothing's happened!"She added, glaring at the device. "I think it's defective."Abelith groaned. "Lemme see"Toram said before the device was quickly tossed at him. "Why would anyone prefer that non-functioning piece of trash to an actual book!?"Abelith grumbled. "It's not turned on."Toram said. "See?"He asked holding the tablet out while pressing and holding a button on the side. Abelith gave out a shocked yelp, hiding behind the couch. She meekly peaked out at the device, eyes wide.

Porter lounged on the couch, texting on her phone. "We could go see a movie," she suggested plainly. "Or like, find a group hobby." She snickered after a moment. "Any of you guys like cosplaying?"

"Oh, a movie sounds good," said Malice. Sparky's tail wagged at the mention of cosplay. "I don't, but I like conventions!... Except the lines. Any shows anyone's into? I like Clash on Colossus and Blade Ballet Online."

Malice furrowed her eyebrows. "Seems like it'd be tough. Not only do you have to worry about your body shape and gender, you'd have to consider if you're the same species, or at least race. Colors can be changed with temporary fur dye, so there's that..."
