Oop: Lemme know if I need to fix anything. For the moment I could see Don being a neighbor.
Don was sitting in his apartment. Like Abelith, his parents were helping pay his rent, but he too kthe bulk of it, working full time as a security guard at a museum. His tail flicked, while flipping through TV stations.

(So he's a lizard, correct?)
Once they'd finished their meal they put the rest of the pizza away (which wasn't much. A good bulk of it had gone to Malice) and started playing the GameStation.
Sparks waved a controller in the air. "Hey Abelith, mind if we call you Abby or something? And do you have any experience with video games?"
Malice, meanwhile, was making a game selection. "I say we play a party game, and whoever loses gets to take out the trash for the next two days."
Sparks scratched his head. "Sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to do that."

Oop: Something like that He was made for an RP where people have the genetic capablity to mix their children with animals, but yeah he could be a lizard, iguana specifically.
"Uh, okay. And not much really."Abelith said, having really only bot the GameStation to watch Documentaries on what ever video streaming services it had. "What all games are there?"Abelith asked.

(Never RPed with or even met a scalie! )
"Duty's Call, Field of Battle, Fantasy Finale, Evil Residents, and more. Any particular genre that you like?"

"Documentary."Abelith said.
Oop: No idea how to bring don into the story

Sparks put his palm to his face. "I meant game. Still, watching a documentary will save me from any chance of having to do physical labor."
Malice scrolled through the applications to Netpix and started browsing through the documentaries. "Who wants to watch Animals of Africa?"
Sparks shook his head. "I wouldn't like to watch anything involving things being chased down by other bigger things."
"We could watch one over bats. Maybe one over the rise and fall of the human empire later."
(I'm not sure how to either. .-.)

"OOH! The human one! the human one!"Abelith said exsitedly. She'd always been interested in humans.
Oop: Mayb I could just use somebody else then
Oop: Mayb I could just use somebody else then
"Humans it is then." She clicked it, the video briefly loaded before coming up. It started with the creation of the universe (following the Big Bang theory) and continued on with early human civilization. The separate countries were constantly at war with each other and there was never a true moment of peace.
For as much war as there was, there was still a wealth of culture, art, and comaraderie. Sparks was invested in the program and sat entranced. Malice was interested as well, but already knew the gist of it, just like everyone else.
(You can bring in a different one if you like. )

Oop: Aight I'll link you when I have a character planned out
Abelith sat mesmerized by the program aswell, with her eyes glued to the screen. HEr kind had never encountered humans, though they came into existence around the same time as humans.

Then the electronic age hit. Rapid advances in medicine and technology had led to experimentation. In an attempt to create super soldiers, scientists tampered with various forms of animal DNA, giving people speed, strength, durability, endurance, and abilities like flight and camoflauge.
It didn't take long for the fashion industry and media to pick up on this trend. Humans started paying for augmentations to make themselves more animallike;pelts, ears, tail, claws. People started questioning the ethics of altering ones' DNA, and if humans were "playing God".
The population was soon overrun with these creatures, and chaos erupted between the different species. Macros, which had trouble controlling their predatory urges, starting consuming micros. The food industry had to adapt to the world's new diet.
The economy had to change as well. It was fair to pay a macro and macro the same for the same job, but micros paid considerably less for their goods, since they were so small.
"And some of these problems remain..." Sparks mumbled.

Oop: I'm really wishing we could have more characters than just two I wanna introduce a ninja-esque tree frog character, but I also don't want all my characters to be female
Abelith was relatively unaware of the issues many faced in the world outside the Caverns she'd been raised in. "So why nt just pay tiny and not-so-tiny people the same?"Abelith asked having not internalized the concepts of Micros and Macros.

(Well, if you really want to then go on ahead. We can experiment with characters and keep the ones that're the best in the story.)
"Because micros have to pay less, they end up with considerably more money. It seems unfair to charge macros for beings macro, see? But eventually they agreed that micros and macros should be given the same amount of money, while micros have to pay the majority of the taxes. In exchange, macros provide efficient labor forces for micro communities. A single macro can do what a dozen micros can in less time, depending on the activity."
The documentary then went on to relay more modern history and a summary of how these conflicts were resolved. One part in particular were the Micro Protection Laws (otherwise known as the MPLs). They were statements regarding the fair treatment of the small citizens of the community.

"Hmm... I'm surprised that Micros and Macros don't have separate societies."Abelith said. She knew her kind's multiple races had relatively different societies. She was of the leaf-nosed variety of Chirp Shreihals. There were White-furs, which were smaller and had well.. white fur, usually living in forests rather than caverns, and then there were blood-stealers, thinner more 'dead' looking Chirp Shreihals that often lived in abandoned villages and cities being just two examples.
Oop: Aight. ere's the link to one: http://toram159.deviantart.com/art/Fursona-re-design-464462425 (Don't ask me what he is, cuz I never decided I picture him being a large Micro, being larger than Spark, but still much shorter than the others) and here's the tree frog ninja-lady thing: http://toram159.deviantart.com/art/Shattered-Earth-Rezai-436667866 As with Toram, I would assume she wouldn't have any powers or fancy super tech. She has a slightly modified design here that I think i'd use for the rp: http://toram159.deviantart.com/art/DAERPS-446926682

(Oh, I like the shape and style of Toram, particularly the upper left pic. That's the type of face I imagined Sparks with. It'd be awesome to have another micro! We can avoid being eaten by Malice together! )
"I'm actually not sure why they didn't segregate society like that. Probably because they knew what had happened before in the US. Regardless, our society remained one. Mostly. You can see the lingering effects between micro and macro."
Malice, who had been mostly quiet, spoke up. "And we never wanted the micros out. We're friends with them. It also makes it convenient when half of your friends can fit in your backpack."

Oop: Aight, I'll try out Toram and Rezai then.
"Hmm. I think my society could learn a thing or two about that."Abelith said. A few moments later the door knocked.

"I'm guessing your society is sectioned by clans or something, right?" His ears perked when he heard the knock at the door.
Malice glanced at the door and got up, tail swishing lazily. Opening the door, she glanced up and down the hall, then down at her feet at the visitors. "Oh... Why hello there, little ones." Her eyes specifically locked on the rodent creature, her pupils dilating.

Oop: I actually picture Rezai being somewhat tall Sorry, I don't normally have size differences come into play with my anthro characters.
Toram looked up at Malice. "Yo." He said. He was wearing a black hoodie. It had two stripes running down the front, back, and hood. The right stripe being purple, and the left stripe being green. The sleeves were also striped, with the left sleeve having green stripes and the right one having purple. His pants were grey jeans. "You Abelith?"He asked.
Next to him stood a tall Frog-morph. She was slim, but toned. She wore a pair of tight running pants, and a back-less sleeve-less blue hoodie, with two white bands going around the mid-section. She had a grey hoodie tied around her waist. She wore a pair of shades, and was slurping on some kind of green smoothie.

(Oh yes, I believe I remember reading about her height in the description. And of course it isn't a problem. I imagine most make anthros without micro and macro sizes in mind.)
She licked her lips. "It depends on if you're dessert."
Sparks had ran over to greet the visitors. "No, bad cat! Bad! You just ate!" He gestured to the others to come inside. "Abelith is inside. Welcome!"
Malice pushed Sparks behind her with a foot, clasping her hands pleasantly. "Oh, I'm only teasing! I wouldn't dream of harming a visitor." Her eyes were too wide to match her smile.

Toram was larger than Sparky, but was clearly not very large, standing just bellow Malice's waist. "Okay."He said, walking in with his luggage being dragged behind him. "So what's a tiger doing in the same apartment with a mouse, a bat-thing, a what ever he is, and a tree frog?"Rezai asked, following Toram inside shortly.
She smiled brightly, shutting the door behind them. "I was thinking the rat over there was a gift... Until your friend yanked him out of my mouth."
Sparks shook his head. "All she thinks about is food. Don't mind her too much." He stuck out his paw to both of them, blinking at the sheer height of the frog morph. "I'm Sparks. The tiger's Malice. Pleased to meet you!"
