"Yeah I'm fine, just a light zap. Been through worse."Rezai said with a chuckle, rubbing her arm where the sword collided.
"Old. Stale. In desperate need of re-working."Abelith said.

"Ah, good." She coughed into her fist and returned the equipment to the bag. "Excellent spar. I think you'd make excellent SotF material."
"Oh. Well, that's not good. Is the place controlled by a good leader?"
"Oh. Well, that's not good. Is the place controlled by a good leader?"
"Thank. I believe you would as well."Rezai said, giving a bow.
"If you'd call my father a good leader then yes. I feel he's too traditionalist. He refuses to even acknowledge the technology around him, he refuses to allow me to choose my own suitor, assuming I even want one. And he still thinks a man is ten times better than a woman, and has been disappointed that I was a girl my entire life."Rezai said with a huff. "To make things worse he went out of hsi way to pick an equally single and closed minded suitor for me."She said angrily.

Malice walked back to the apartment with Rezai, opening the door with her key card. As she dropped her equipment by the door, she gave Rezai a look and gestured to Sparks with an open hand. Sparks didn't notice the gesture.
"Ah. One of those people." He kicked his feet absently, sitting down on her shoulder. "People like that don't adapt well, and it sounds like it reflects on your society. What it needs is a new leader."

"Very much so, one with out any connection to my family either. I know my father would do everything in his power to rule through friends or other family."Abelith said, still flipping through her book.
Rezai did nothing to Sparks, not interested in the small Anthro at all.

"So he rules for life? Even if he's corrupt? That kind of system has been prove to be corrupt dozens of times. Ridiculous..."
Malice flopped onto the couch, sighing contentedly. "I think I found a new sparring partner."
Sparks raised an eyebrow. "What happened to your last one?"
She coughed. "Accident."

She coughed. "Accident."
"Essentially yes. And yes, it is foolish and stupid..."Abelith said with a sigh. She glanced up when she heard Malice speak. "Admittedly I don't see why you need a sparring partner to begin with, but okay."Abelith said. "So long as nobodies poking me with zappy swords I'm alright."Toram said, wiht his claws clacking on his key board.
"To sharpen my skills is all, as well as my partner's." She waved her paw. "Experience."
Sparks nodded at Toram's statement. "I'm not too fond of the zappy swords either. Doesn't seem like it would be safe."

"I simply find it fun. That and I don't use my skill set on a daily basis."Rezai said.
"Well you could try and get batty here into playing games. Maybe you could do a better job at explaining it than Sparky did?"Toram suggested.
She shot a quizzical look at Sparks and then at Abelith. "You've never played a video game before? Did you live your life under a rock?" She snatched up a controller and grinned. "Here, let me show you how a tiger does things."
Sparks cocked an eyebrow, smiling, and say down near Toram. This was gonna be good.
Starting up the game, Malice began playing through the first level, skipping tutorials and generally not knowing what she was doing. "Looks like this button kills things. Just tap that thing over and over and you should be fine."

"Technically speaking yes. The city I was raised in was under ground."Abelith said, taking Malice's comment literally. She watched the tiger roam around the level. "I was pressing that button, and I died."She responded skeptically.
Toram watched, chuckling every so often. He could probably breeze through the level with no trouble.

Soon after, Malice was overrun with enemies. "Crap, crap, crap... What difficulty is this thing on?!" Her health dropped to zero and she was presented with the game over screen.
"Pft... Noob. You can't just try and chop down everything head on. Stealth, buddy, stealth!"
She growled and retried. It wasn't going well.

Toram took the controller rspawning. Though he wasn't a stealth person. Unlike Malice and Abelith he managed to go through the first level with out stealth killing a single enemy. "And that's how that's done."He said triumphantly.
Sparks blinked, impressed. "That was really good! I ought to play you at Duty's Call one day."
Malice huffed, crossing her arms. "Not my fault I didn't do well. I haven't played this game before."

Aketch chuckled a bit, setting the controller down before turning his attention back to his laptop. "I still don't understand why you're trying get me into these video games..."Abelith said.
"They're fun once you learn how to play them," said Sparks.
Malice sat on the couch with Toram and Sparks, towering over the two. Her tail waved in their faces, brushing their noses with fluffy purple fur. "And they're a way of competing against each other."

Toram pushed Malice's Tail out of his face. "It's better than being zapped by a sword."He said. "Besides, in most of the games I play there's an interesting story."Toram said.
"You all are sissies. Getting zapped by swords is hardcore," claimed Malice.
"The voltage used to stun a macro could probably kill a micro."
"That's why you're not my sparring partner. Survival of the fittest, friend." She flicked her tail over his nose before drawing it to the other side, were it wouldn't bother anyone. Sparks sniffles and sneezed, rubbing his face irritatedly.
"Stupid cat. Can we donate this one to the shelter?" He turned to Toram. "What games do you play?"
