Is there a way to add a poll to topics I post?

Currently not. I'm not aware of any such task currently in the Development Log but it's been suggested before on multiple occasions.

I've no idea how priorities are currently set for any poll features, so hopefully Kim can give us some insight on how things are currently. Groups have seen a lot of development this year so though!

They still aren't really on my radar as more useful (or desperately necessary) than oodles of other things, so I fear they are still just in the "under consideration" phase.

As an offhand ideation, if we were to do polls, I'd want to make them easy to integrate into both forum posts and into group widgets.
