It started as a rumor from a small village on the swampy, fog choked coast land of Mistyshore. The disappearance or sinking of several fishing vessels farther up the coast near the abandoned fort along with strange glowing lights underwater as seen by other vessels. One day another disappearance...only there were survivors. The survivors spoke of a creature that appeared in the from the fog, a evil looking thing with glowing places across it's body and a Devil's grin. A Demon they called it. Soon came request for assistance, sent to ever corner of the world. Who would come to rid them of this demon?
"This place is gonna be boring..."Jake muttered, looking out the window of his mother's car. "Get over it. It'll be fine here. Besides your uncle and aunt live here. Maybe they could help you find.... why do you still have your laptop with you?"Jaqulynn asked, looking over at Jake, seeing he suddenly was playing on his laptop. "Because I'm bored."He responded. "Lemme see that! We're bored too!"Aggro said, having taken over Jenny's body for the day. "Get your own."Jake responded, before getting smacked in the back of the head. "I will get my own, now gimme!"Aggro demanded. "Myrus she's violent..."Sanet said. "I'll show you violent..."Aggro responded, trying to reach her odler brother's laptop.
Nico blankly stares at the small note in front of him. He hums an '80s song then begins to read the note aloud: "Dear, Mistah Night'ngale" Nico jokingly mocks the writer, "Your next hit's a special one. Its not a human, like the others. Your target be demon!" Nico laughs absurdly as he reads it. "They call it the 'Demon of Mistshore'. It's pretty violent, but I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle. Kill it, then meet me at the lakehouse. 50,000 dollar hit, so don't screw me over Nightengale! -B.Rute," Nico finishes the note and places it on the cedar table in front of him. "Well, if there's one thing more fun than killing people for money, lets hope its killing demons," Nico says, with a large grin on his face. He stands up from the table and begins to sharpen his sword.
Outside of the Willow's car the mist that gave this region it's name began to grow thicker, quickly changing to a dense and eerie fog. Shortly there after on the right side of the road a faint blue glow was briefly visible in the fog before being passed by. Without warning a swamp deer emerges from the fog in the middle of the road, stopping directly in the path of the vehicle.
Mason Reese was but a mile away. He parked the Mercedes Benz in a the lot of a large shopping center. With a cocky smile, his feet struck the pavement. "Mistshore...I am here."
Jaqulynn let out a yelp when the deer ran out in front of her. She slammed on the breaks, with the car skidding to a halt, several inches from the deer. She let out a relieved sigh and flipped on the head lights. Jal was in the back seat whimpering, having seen the blue glow.
Mason smirked, "Just in time..." The beep indicated that his Benz was locked and secured. He turned his cell phone to vibrate. He closed his eyes and sniffed the air, finding the emotion of fear, he grinned. "Perhaps, a moment or two too late. Only one way to find out..." He could not hide the bit of joy that followed each step thereafter, as he made his way towards the Willow Family.
In town as the fog continued to thicken, people began to head inside where ever they could. A young girl appeared out of the fog, quickly tugging on Mason's arm and pointing to the shopping center "Mister please hurry! We have to get inside. The Demon is hunting tonight. Please hurry!" the girl was shaking and clearly in great fear.
As if to emphasize the girl's words a hair raising, spine tingling noise echos from within the forest. A eerie, high pitched wailing noise. For the Willow family it sounded as if it was coming from all around them...and was extremely close. The deer in front of the car quickly runs away, up the road in the direction the Willow's car had been traveling. Just after it disappears back into the fog, the blue light becomes visible again at the same spot for several moments before fading out again.
(think kind of like those eerie whale noises)

Mason smiled at the young girl, sending emotions of calm and serenity throughout her young body and mind. "I am counting on it, dear. You should take care of yourself." His eyes focused on the direction of the echos. Forgetting about the young girl, he continued on with more haste.
Jal quickly grabbed onto her older sister, currently with Aggro in charge. Aggro glanced down at Jal with an annoyed look, before seeing the blue glow. Aggro rolled her eyes. "Just a trick of the light."She grumbled. "SEe, told you giant monsters were real!"Jake proclaimed loudly after the whale-like call echoed. Jake's proclomation only seemed to make Jal's grip on Aggro tighter, causing the little girl to give out a tiny yelp. "Jake stop. You're scaring Jal."Jaqulynn scolded, waiting for the deer to move. Once the deer was out of the way and the head lights turned on, Jaqulynn ocntinued down the road
Oop: Sorry for the late response

With a nod the young girl turns back towards the shopping center "Y-yes sir. Please be careful. It's really mean." she then runs inside, the entrance quickly boarded and barricaded. The girls face appeared in a window, watching the man before the fog thickened again.
In the forest the blue glow is seen again, directly in front of the car. The headlights of the car bring whatever the source of the light is into view. A short but well built creature, the blue glow coming from areas across it's body. When the light hits it the creature turns around, holding the deer just the Willows had just encountered. The brightness of the glowing areas increased considerably, it's eyes glowing as well. The creature certainly looked like a demon, surrounded by fog with a unearthly glow and a maw of teeth that looked as if it was grinning. Whether they realized it or not, the Willows had just found the Demon of Mistshore.

Jaqulynn slammed on her breaks, slowing the car to a halt when she saw the creature in front of them. "What is that?"Jaqulynn asked. "I dunno. Maybe we could catch it and get soem money off it?"Aggro said, getting ready to go outside. "Aggro, stay put"Jaqulynn said, getting an angered groan from Aggro, who remained where she was. "Let's just wait for it to go away."Jaqulynn suggested.
