Abelith nodded, getting up and going n the direction of the smoke.

Meanwhile, over at another camp, there was a rather short looking penguin talking with a tree frog. They were two other contestants in the event, and they seemed to have similar goals.

"I didn't think we'd actually have to fight other creatures in this... this..." The Penguin, Bob Slater, was at a loss for words. He had no idea what to call this event.

"Blood sport?"The tree frog asked. She had a cold tone to her voice, though she normally spoke like this. She was wearing some sort of high-tech armor. It was surprisingly mobile despite how clunky and heavy it looked. She was sitting on the ground with her legs crossed, in a meditating pose. "Who ever jumped me was lucky I didn't have Zaylos with me. Otherwise they wouldn't have been so successful in capturing me."The frog said.

"Yeah, I have a lot of friends myself who probably could have helped me," Bob said. "Still, I can't help but wonder who the person behind the madness is. Do you have any ideas?"

OOC: Ooh, that character's cool.

"No I do no. and there's no point in worrying about it for themoments."Abelith said. "I'd save those thoughts for when we get out of here."She added.

"That is IF we get out of here," Bob said. "You heard him: Only two can proceed. ...But I didn't bargain for having to fight anyone. I really don't want to if I can avoid it."

"Again, I wouldn't worry about the others. We'll escape."the Tree-frog said, still meditating.

"Wait a minute, did you hear something?" Bobsled asked.

"Yes. I assumed it might do you some good to not mention it, to help avoid stressing you out any more."The tree-frog replied.

"But if it's an enemy or friend, do you think we should prepare ourselves?" Bob asked.

"I've been preparing myself."The frog replied. "Why do you think I've been meditating for so long?"She asked.

"Well maybe we should prepare NOW!" Bob yelled, annoyed by his partner's incompetence. "...Sorry, I don't usually get angry, but we need to stand guard. If someone's coming, they could easily attack us in our sleep."

"No they won't. We'll take turns standing watch. And while I'm on watch I can assure you no one will be getting to you."The frog replied.

"No," Bob replied. "I'm standing watch with you. If you die while I'm sleeping, I will not forgive myself for letting that happen."

"I won't die. Plus what's the point of being on watch when we're supposed to be asleep, when we aren't sleeping."The frog replied.

"No one said we HAD to go to sleep," Bobsled said. "No one said we were suggested to sleep. You can assume other players are going to be hunting us down, so we should probably stay awake."

"And what? Tire ourselves out? Yes no body said we should sleep, but our bodies need it. And if the other people here spend their time trying to hunt each other down with out taking a break than they'll tire themselves out and make easy targets. Now I don't know about you but I'd rather not go with out sleep for a long time. And if you need extra security while you sleep than I'll survive with the fire being put out and I could easily get you up into a tree to be out of site."The frog replied.

"I said no!" Bobsled shouted. "I'm not taking any chances! You can go to bed if you want, but if you die in your sleep it's your own fault! I'm staying awake till this game is finished, and that's final!"

OOC: Should we just bring in Abelith and Kasugano?
