Word got out that there was an underground event that was taking place that invited many creatures into a strange area where they would be put on cable television and, possibly, be killed in the process. There were no other contestants to fight, just the elements. Little did two creatures know, they would be involved.
A Komodo dragon was walking through an alley, talking to a bat-like creature about something they both had: a slip of paper saying "You are next."
"So you got this piece too?" the Komodo dragon asked. "I'm sure you know what this means."

"No. No I do not."Abelith responded. Unlike many, she didn't watch TV. Nor did she read the news. She preferred reading her books. On top of that she wasn't from this land, being from a far off country that was still in the dark ages, but certainly had a perfect grasp on magic.
"You don't either?" the komodo dragon, Kasugano said. Like her, he spent little time watching TV, so he had no idea about it either. He spends most of his time at dojos, honing his martial arts skills. "Surely you've watched more TV than I have. ...But whatever, I'm sure it's just a prank or something."
"What's TV?"Abelith asked, looking up from the paper. "Is it some form of magic?"She asked.
"Something like that," Kasugano said, being equally clueless.
As they were walking down the alley, eventually they saw several dark figures in front of them. And when they looked behind, they were there too. "COME WITH US!" one of the figures said in a booming voice.
"...Couldn't have been a bit more generic with the ambush, could you?" Kasugano asked.

Abelith blinked looking at the figures. "Uh.... I'm royalty, and I've been told I don't have to go with anyone I don't want to, so personally I'd prefer to remain here."Abelith said in a triumphant tone.
"Then maybe we should take you by force," the figure said. Eventually, more and more figures piled into the alley. ...There was a LOT of them.
"Unless you have a better plan, I'm fighting my way out," Kasugano said.

"Alright, if you want."Abelith said, stepping aside allowing Kasugano to do what he was planning.
"Of course you can help, you know," Kasugano snarked.
Eventually, some of the figures came after the two. Kasugano then took out his nunchucks and stood his ground. He started to swing at the figures coming at him, and he was holding his own, but he would still need some help.

"Me? Fight?! Are you insane!"Abelith said. "I'm not a fighter!"She added.
Kasugano was not able to keep up with the numbers. They were soon overwhelming him.
"Don't just stand there you pansy!" Kasugano yelled. "DO SOMETHING!!!"

Abelith was pressed p flat against the wall, trembling as Kasugano was being overwhelmed. She whimpered unsure of what to do, After all she wasn't a fighter in anyway.
Abelith gulped, holding out her hands. Despite rarely even using magic, Abelith had a cache of destructive spells in her head, ready to use at a moment's notice. Blue lightning began arching across her hands and fore-arms. Soon a bolt of lightning shout out, striking one of the men attacking Kasugano, sending the man flying into a wall. She repeated the process several times before the blue arhing electriity switched out fororange embers as she was shooting fire balls at the men now. She was clearly utterly terrified, both of the men, and the fact that not only did she just attack someone with freaking LIGHNING, but now her hands were in flames! It was quickly apparent she'd never used these spells due to her reactions.

Eventually, the figures started to swarm her too. It wouldn't be long before they were both out.
"There's... too... many of... them..." Eventually, one of the figures injected Kasugano with a sleeping drug, and he was falling asleep fast. The figures were trying to do the same to Abelith.

It wasn't long before Abelith was over whelmed as well, being injected with the same toxin, before blacking out.
Eventually, they woke up, but now they were in a small wedge-shaped room. There were lots of holes on the walls but the roof was missing, and you could see the sun.
"Okay... what is this?" Kasugano asked.
"Okay... what is this?" Kasugano asked.
Abelith sat up, rubbing her head. "I swear if I find out that my Father's behind this I'll never speak to him again..."She muttered, before looking around.
"Why would your father be behind this?" Kasugano asked. "Why is he relevant?"
OOC: I don't actually have a villain thought up, so you can if you want.

EDIT: HOLD ON ISSUES HERE
"My father and I didn't weren't on each other's good sides when I had left my home."Abelith replied, looking around the room.
"Are you too scared to talk straight?" Kasugano asked. "At least you can fly out of here."
