Tiberius wasn't afraid to go up to the creature and touch his nose. "Hi there big guy," Tiberius said. "It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you. I only fight who I have a reason to fight."

Darkness flinched slightly as both eventually touched his nose. The loose fur there was smooth, but rough once it reached his nose where a curved horn branched up from the nostrils. He closes his eyes afterwards, his floofs lowering until they rested against his head once he trusted Ax and Tiberius enough to realize they meant no harm. His skin was oddly cold, though.

Silver jumps down from the tree, landing beside him. ''So have you two ever went on any adventures?'' She asked Ax and Tiberius.

Ax smiled at Darkness, and then turned to Silver. 'He looks cool and he's quiet - I like him.' djr

Ax smiled at Darkness, and then turned to Silver. 'He looks cool and he's quiet - I like him.' She grinned. 'And my life is one big adventure, 'specially since I can pretty much go anywhere and everywhere.' She threw her arms out and laughed. 'The world is definitely my oyster.'

"I wish I could go on more adventures," Tiberius said. "Rarely get the chance to though. People think I'm weak, and I never get the chance to defend myself in an argument. I would say that people don't want to be around emperor, but... is that going to be the extent of my character?"

Ax shrugged. 'Maybe you should show people the emperor isn't dangerous unless you need it to be?' She climbed up another tree, and lay on her stomach over one of the branches, arms hanging down. 'Kind of like the Hulk.'

Silver nods. ''My brother doesn't show his scarier form because he only uses it when he must. I can be scary if I wanted to, but I choose to look harmless. It's a matter of knowing when the time is right to reveal what you are.'' She said with a small smile.

''Come to think of it, there is an old castle just a few miles from here that I haven't explored before. It's deep in the woods, and would be a great adventure!''

"I'm kind of the same way, don't use my alter-ego until I need to," Tiberius said. "And he's really only as mean and vicious as I am. ...Anyway, a castle sounds fun. I do like castles."

Ax dropped back onto the ground. 'That sounds cool.'

''Then lets go!'' As her brother disappeared back into the dark mass. ''It's just west of here deep in the forest. It used to be home to kings and queens and lots of things. I guess they got tired of living there but I hear there's so much stuff to find! Even mysteries there, too.'' Silver chuckled nervously.

'Oh, I like a good mystery!' Ax grinned excitedly.

"Mysteries are cool," Tiberius stated. "But what kind of monsters dwell there? That's what I want to know."

''The last I heard is that a mysterious creature moved in after the last inhabitants left in a hurry. It's said the creature wears a bird skull as a mask and brings misfortune to those who find it.'' She said grimly. ''But the chances of it still being there is very slim.''

Ax snorted and waved a hand in the air. 'Misfortune kinda comes with the whole half demon thing anyway, so I ain't got nothin' to worry about.'

"Doesn't sound too intimidating," Tiberius said. "I mean it's not like it's cursed, is it?"

''Well that's the mystery too. It's been unseen for so long the truth behind it is clouded in great myth. It could be just folklore spread so no one would go there...But it could also hold some hint of truth, too.'' Silver remarked, shuddering. ''But it makes for a great adventure to solve the mystery!''

'Exactly,' Ax agreed enthusiastically. 'What are we waiting for? Lets roll.' She snapped her fingers and a pair of thick aviator sunglasses appeared over her eyes.

SFS nods in delight and leads them through the maze-like forest path that led to the ruined castle. The path was rough. The once elegant passage was overgrown by dense bushes and even the fence that could be seen was hidden partly by vines. Yet an unusual amount of crows also could be seen, flying admist the path.

Silver shudders. ''Usually there is very little animal life to be seen.'' She remarked, stumbling over a tree root.
