She growls at Vallahd harshly. ''I was guarding this place for a reason,' She hissed, then coughs harshly.

"eh...?" I looked at Kyranauis. What was she implying? I shifted my gaze to Reggie, shrugging.

She didn't dare to tell the others that a darker enteity had dwelled in the oasis. She couldn't tell them that it would occasionly sneak out of its hiding spot to attack. She knew she was blind, so spotting the creature would prove hard. ''Black dragon lives here. Night stalker. Black as night, eyes colored like flames. Flies silently, hunting for victims. Thirsts for b..blood.''

I blinked, and looked hesitantly over at Vallahd. That thing it had spoken about... FireBringer...? Could it be....?

It grunts, "Dragon? Stalker? Easy hide. Hard kill." It knew that it was taking a long shot, but the shadows have always helped before.

[this character won't really actually be seen much, so a breif encounter is here.]

Swoosh. Something flew overhead. Too fast to see, only a quick blur of a shadow. No talk, nothing. Just a loud sound of a single flap, the air blown about below until settling again. As soon as it had appeared, it had vanished into the night. No talk, just sound. Kyrana showed some panic, looking at the group.

I glared up at the sky, narrowing my eyes. Ehh...? The instant it was there, it was gone just as quickly. "was that...what you were talking about...?" I closed my eyes against the harsh sunlight.

It sensed it, and looked up. Nothing. He growled at himself and starts towards the others, "We go."

While Kyrana was still paniced, Kyraniu shakes a bit. ''We go where? That thing didn't bother us. But it flew so fast...I didn't think dragons could fly that fast. Could they?''

I nodded agreeing with Kyra. "we aren't well enough to travel yet..." I wondered myself just what kind of dragon that was...

It grunts, "Fine." It hated others, always so slow.

''If it didn't attack, it must have just been going somewhere. What kind of dragon was it?''

'that's not true, though.." i looked up at Kyra through one good eye. "it could be spying on us. after all, we are in it's land..'

Kyra looks at Karishi, frowning. ''You think....?'' She asked. Swoosh. Another blur of shadows. No talk, just movement. It disappeared again as soon as it had appeared, though something fell off if its tail. Part of a wing, landing close to Karishi.

"Kyaaah...!" I scooted away from the wing-piece as fast and my weak body could manage. "w-what is that...?"

It saw the creature and threw a dagger at the dragon, though it was too slow and landed somewhere in the distance. "We go. Now! Recover while walking." It went to Karishi and the Kyra, "Can walk?"

She winces. ''I think..'' And staggers up. The black dragon screech echoed as it tumbled far off in the distance. The tailwing looked weathered, torn off.

i stood up warily, ignoring the burns. "yeah..." I scooted away from the tail wing. "okay.. but let me stock up on supplies before we leave...!"

Kyra nods, while Kyrana winces. The sun. So hot. She crawls back into the cave, coughing.

in a rushed panic he sprawls on all fours and rushes towards the group calling to them "I think its gone! i think were safe" But the excitement left him speaking in only deep roars and screeches
