Just as the axe makes contact, Darkness disappars within a black wisp, He re-appears behind the King, and shoots a beam of dark pulsing energy at him. ''You reeaaally think you can hurt me that easily?'' He retorted.

The beam of darkness hit him in the back singing the mane that runs to his thick bushy tail he turns around and replies "Haha that tickled a little, If you wish then no more axe." this was not a gesture of kindness its just his axe was wedged deep into the ground and he didnt want to waste his time ripping it out.

''It is a common rule of my kind. If your to fight, no trying to instantly kill your opponent. That just ruins the fun.''

"But your so small your not going to be fun to fight anyways." with that he goes and tries to stomp on the dragon

Dark darts out from the step, snorting. ''I may be small, but you must think your height will let you win. Just because your stronger and taller, will not mean you will succeed.'' and shoots a pulsing red beam at the King yet again.

Nimbala nimbly ducks the beam and charges attempting to gore the dragon with his horns using his momentum to try and get the take down

Dark sighs, disappearing again, then re-appears behind the King once more. He opens his mouth, then shoots a bigger dark red pulsing beam eyes glowing feircly.

he continues to charge ramming through a row of trees into the forests the beam scorching the fur on his tail out of sight and not to be heard a pair of trees comes flying at the dragon followed by a small dart tipped with the poison of a creature known as the Colorado river toad.

Darkness is caught off guard, getting hit. He staggers back up, now losing his other fang.

He walks up to the downed dragon but not realizing it there was toad poison on his burn. causing him to actually walk off of a cliff

[See that? Nimbala really isn't that smart.]

[It's ok. Darkness isn't really tough anyway. He probably would've got gored the if it wasn't for his teleporting skills. xD]

Dark snorts, shaking off. ''As they say...They bigger they are, the easier they fall..at least thats what I think...'' He muttered, stumbling about.

I had hid behind Kyra's front leg during the fight, my eyes open wide and shaking in fear. "mounting...dragon...heads....." I swallowed roughly, wrapping a torn piece of cloth over my wrist. Oh no.. My burns were acting up again. Where was Vallahd? I looked at Darkness concerned. "you need to rest before you pass out..."

looking at the black dragon with concern he shouts to him "Are you stupid you attacked that creature! T-that monster! he could've killed you! you need to be careful you just lucky he randomly wandered off that cliff."

He shook of and falls over. Then staggers back up. ''So dizzy...'' He muttered, stumbling again, before falling and landing back at the group. Sure, he had many bruises, but nothing seemed to be able to crush that personality of his. ''I'm fine...Just real dizzy..I lost a fang again..''

In a fit of annoyance he squawks and says "You are a complete fool Darkness! we couldve hid or flew away! your not much bigger than me and we have two other flyers here! that creature has no way to fly those wings are way to small for flight!"

Dark sighs. ''So much for keeping you three from getting killed...'' As he staggered up weakly, head hanging, before slinking back to the cave. His tail dragged on the ground, the remaining wing folded tightly. HIs chains rattled as he walked.

" All of us were in danger there its fight or flight in that kind of situation you fly!" face palms himself out of frustration. "Really think things out before engaging in combat with large bull dragon monster things!"

I walked after him, my heart aching for the dragon. "it wasn't your fault Dark. You were brave enough to protect us." I hugged him silently, my arms wrapped around Darkness's cold scales."that's all that matters."

He looks at Reggie with a cold glare. His cloth had got torn off. Staring out from where it had been was a pale pink eye. ''Tell me what you think is important. I've been insulted at, for being a mixture of things. I nearly die guarding you guys and this is my reward?'' he scowled, nuzzling Karishi. ''All my life everything laughed at me...Just because I'm this..Monster..''

My grip tightened around Dark. Poor dragon.. Never getting the love he deserved...we had all misjudged him... "we won't ever make fun of you here, Dark. Okay?" I smiled, although they couldn't see it. "you're not a monster."
