Spring break had come and passed ever so quickly like that of spring blossoms in the breeze. Children and teenagers had spent the morning getting ready for the schoolday ahead of them. Some children's parents drove them to school, while other people simply took the bus.
Once everyone was at a school, the day seemed to fly by up until the point of lunchtime. The lunchroom was loud, and soon not a single seat was available. Some people even sat in the floor with their backs against the wall, while other people, had different plans.
Just outside on the school porch was two boys. One pale boy with longish dark brown hair, and another boy who wasnt quite as pale, and had blonde hair. It was plain to see the two of them were outcasts, but they handled it quite well. Maybe somebody else would be joining them today..

"I'm leaving!" A voice called, bringing a red-headed girl downstairs in panic. "I'm coming, Jack, Jesus!" The girl yelled, zipping up her gray hoodie and following her dark-haired brother out. She almost tripped getting in his car, and shutting the door.
She was still adjusting to this new school, and spring break had gone too quickly, in her opinion.
Rose Vadalecki stepped out of her brother's car at the high school, slipping her blue backpack over her shoulder and plastering a smile on her face.
"Bye, Jack," She said, shutting the door and turning to walk.

"Shut up! I'm not going to fail Mr Andrews class for Pete's sake!" The blonde haired boy said as he lightly punched the dark haired boys shoulder and they both laughed. "You never know," the dark haired boy said. "Yes, he soooooo wants me in his class next semester. A whole half year of yelling at me, and resisting the urge to pull his hair out of his head" he blonde haired boy said with a chuckle.
The blonde haired boy looked up to see a girl who seemed to he late for school. "There's the somewhat new, new girl" he said causing his friend to look.

Rose ran her hands through her hair, not believing that She and Jack had overslept. She blamed it on sleeping until noon the entirety of the cool spring break days. She really didn't care, the classes that She missed were minor.
As She walked, she noticed the two boys looking at her, and that they were alone. She looked at the ground, and hurriedly moved across the schoolyard.
(V v sorry for confusing you xc I thought I put it in the first sentence, but I guess not)

The dark haired boy looked away, not wanting the girl to think of him as some creep. He was quiet unlike his friend who called out to her, "you can sit with us if you want" he said. He was considering her. There was no room in the cafeteria, so unless she wanted to sit on the floor and get food thrown at her, sitting with them was probably her best bet.
Rose looked over, slightly startled.
"Oh, uhm.. okay," She says, and slowly makes her way to the two. She was surprised someone had spoken to her, as in directly, because often all She saw was others talking about "the new girl" earlier in the year.

The blonde haired boy looked over at the dark haired boy before looking back at the girl. "Im Ryan," he introduced himself. "I'm Draiken" the dark haired boy introduced himself so that they wouldn't be strangers.
"Rose," She said, smiling a bit. She sat her backpack on the ground as She stood in front of the two. She was happy that someone acknowledged her, and that She could Maybe make some friends. Her blue eyes scanned the area, enjoying the breeze as she looked at the scenery.
"Roses are nice flowers.." Draik said out of the simple blue. Roses had always been his favorite flower, and her name just happened to remind him of that specific flower. Ryan looked over at his friend "dude, what is with you and flowers? People are going to think your gay or something" he warned his friend rudely, but Draik just shrugged, he couldn't help he liked flowers.
Draiks turqoise colored eyes looked up at the girl, he went silent.

Rose smiled a bit.
"Nah, he doesn't come off as gay. And flowers are nice," She says, meeting Draik's eyes for a moment.
"Draiken, right? Mind if I call you Draik?" She asks, gesturing slightly at him.

Draik smiled at he as she proved Ryan wrong. "No, I don't mind if you call me Draik," he said. "Just about everyone does" he mused.
"Oh, okay. What're you guys doing out here?" She asked. Rose, feeling bad at admitting this, hadn't seen them before, and if She had, She hadn't spared a second glance. She did appreciate them, however.
"There's no room in the cafeteria to sit," Ryan explained, "and if you sit in the floor people throw food at you because that means your not good enough to sit at a actual table" Ryan explained more. "So we just Sit out here" Draik said.
Rose frowned slightly. "At least it's pretty out here," She says, and a small smile returns to her face. "Thanks for speaking to me, by the way," She adds, looking down.
"Yes, it is very pretty" Draik agreed with her. "People are still going to think your gay" Ryan mumbled quietly causing Draik to glare at him, "just because my hair goes past my ears, I have a earpirecing, and I like flowers, doesn't mean I come off as gay for Gods sake" Draik said.
When the two heard her speak once again, Draik said "your most welcome"

"Ryan, don't take offense to this, but you appear to be a little more gay than he would be," She says with a small laugh, silently thinking of a gay band member Ryan Ross. She was grinning, trying to be a little humorous.
Draik laughed at this comment of Rose's while on the other hand Ryan stuck his tongue out at her, but in a playful immature way, not in a mean way.
Rose couldn't help but smile broadly, feeling accepted. Unlike her old friends, they could take a joke. She sits down, cross-legged on the grass, still internally laughing at their conservation.
Draik looked up hearing the bell ring, "I guess we should go to classes now" he said and looked at Rose, "what do you have now?" he asked
"Uhh..." Rose thought for a moment, then remembered. "History," She replied, standing and grabbing her bag from the ground, slinging it over her shoulders.
