She pouts slightly, her ears drooping. She turns her back to the man and starts to walk away, her tail dragging slowly behind her.

Erica yelps and gets down jumping from branch to branch limping. When she was on the ground she barely even bothered with her sister and layed down while growling at the man and tried to get up but collapsed back down whimpering.

Hiro suddenly sees the tail and remembers that thing that stroked him on the ankle. "Hey, wait a sec!" He flips to his feet and quickly grabs her tail. "What the heck is this?!"

Erica automatically tried to get up again while growling viciously but couldn't go any where and collapsed again looking helplessly at her sister.

She flinches slightly, now noticing that her tail had been bleeding. "It's my tail.... I'm a neko.... all nekos have one. It kinda has a mind of it's own though. It follows heat sources and if it thinks something is cold, it'll try to warm it up by coiling around the object."

"A neko? You mean one of those cat-eared freaks all over the internet? Dude, those things aren't real." He attempts to yank the tail off, but finds it harder to do than he had anticipated.

Erica whimpered wanting to protect her sister and tried once again to get up only to fail and growl.

She yelps slightly, falling to the ground, her ears bleeding slightly. She covers her ears in fear. "Mew....." She whimpers softly in pain, wanting it to stop. "Well, I'm real aren't I?"

Hiro lets go of the tail. "Holy crap, you are real!" Only then does he notice how banged up she is all over. "Hey, you're kind of in rough shape. You wanna use that magical healing thingy of yours to fix you back up?" Hiro looks over at the fox, and then things begin to add up. "Don't tell me," he says, his shoulder dropping. "That's your friend, isn't it?"

Erica starts to slowly go unconscious.

"I can't heal myself.... only my sister can, but she's stuck in fox form because neither of us have our energy back so technically, I can't get better until she does." Her ears twitch slightly as she hears gun fire in the distance. "Mew....." She flinches slightly at the noise, her ears continuing to bleed. "And that is my 'friend' over there."

"You guys need medical attention." He knelt down and pointed to his back with his thumb. "Get on. I'm taking you back to my master's dojo. You can get help there. Your friend can come too."

Erica is unconscious at this point.

She nods softly, crawling over to the fox and dragging her back to the man. She slowly climbs onto his back, blushing slightly. "She's my sister, and I hear gun fire....." She whimpers softly at the noise she keeps hearing.

"I don't hear anything." He rolls his eyes. "Right, the ears. I'll try to avoid running into anyone." He stands up with Azucena on his back, looks down at his metal weights. "Eh, I'll just have to come back for them. Hang on!" From there, he bolted over the stream once again, only this time he kept running down the woods at full steer. Trees rushed past them over and over as Hiro's quick feet carried them.

Alice holds onto him tightly as she slowly falls asleep on his back, her last words awake being, "You're back is warm."

"Stay with me, lady," Hiro pants. Within a few minutes, Hiro took them to a low building with sliding, wooden doors, an old man smoking a long pipe on the porch. "Master, we got guests," he ghasped before collapsing from exhaustion.

Alice cuddles up next to him, trying to obtain more warmth.

Erica slowly begun to wake up and automatically shot up to her paws but yelped in pain then collapsed to the ground.

Without saying a word, the man stands up, scoops up the boy and woman and fox under his arm and takes them inside. From there he sets about bandaging wounds, setting up tea, and smacking Hiro on the forehead. "Ouch! What'd I do!?"
