Parrot stomped through Alma, clearly angry. Behind him floated his pet Parrot, who also gave the Elsen his name, Pete. "Why won't anyone believe me?!"He grumbled. Earlier he'd stopped an odd being. It was tall, twice the size of even the tallest Elsen. Its arms were long. At the top they were rather thin, but bulked out as the went down, ending in a pair of large hands, both with two large fingers and a thumb. His body was clearly muscular, but it was thin, as were its legs. It wore a vest with a sleeve-less shirt under it as well as a pair of tight blue with jeans combat boots on under them. The oddest trait of this being was its head. It had a head like a hammer-head Shark's, just with a less toothy grin. The being had told him that he was planning on over throwing the guardians. He'd gone to Dedan to warn the guardian. Surprisingly Dedan was in a rather grumpy mood, and didn't believe Parrot, before telling him to leave and return to the metal farms. "Do I have to stop this guy?"Parrot asked the green bird that was following him, who gave off content Squawks.
"Am I even in the right area ..?" Secretary Elsen questioned out loud as he looked at his surroundings. He looked down at the map his boss, Guardian Enoch, had given him and squinted at it as if the action would help his quest become easier. 'We're running out of our meat stock. I need you to go over to Zone 1 and ask Dedan for more meat for the Elsens.' That had been his order from his boss, and Secretary had planned to get it done. As soon as he knew where to go. "Dammit .." Secretary hissed under his breath as he ran his free hand through his hair in distress. "Maybe I'm- .. Oh- Wait! Hey, you!" Secretary yelled at an oncoming elsen. This elsen seemed to be followed by a bird, which made him question getting the stranger's help. But he did so anyway. "Hey, is the Zone 1's Guardian around here somewhere? This IS Alma, right?"
Parrot looked up at the Elsen that had called out to him. The Elsen had a surprisingly nice suit, definitely too fancy to work in the smoke mines, Metal farms, or meat ponds. "Alma! Alma!"Pete squawked, sitting atop Parrot's head. "Uh yeah, this is Alma."He said. "Uh... Dedan's not too good a mood right now either. Why do you need to see him?"Parrot asked.
Secretary sighed in relief. He wasn't as lost as he thought. " Good. " He quickly glanced at the Elsen's bird in confusion before returning his attention to the Elsen. "It's just for business. Nothing of your true concern. I'm sure Dedan will be fine when I get there. So, directions would be nice." He said, a little snarkily. He crossed his arms in anticipation.
"I-I don't think it's a good idea to bother Dedan right now, unless it's really important.... Uh... Maybe I should go with you... Just to make sure nothing happens."Parrot said, motioning for Sect to follow. In actuality he was just using guiding Secretary to Dedan as an excuse to stick around Dedan's office to make sure that shark guy didn't show up.
He looked at the Elsen suspiciously before sighing and shaking his head. "Ugh .. Fine, I guess a guide wouldn't be so bad .. Though I still doubt Dedan will be upset after hearing my message." He reluctantly began to follow the Elsen, all the while glancing at the talking bird occasionally.
After a short walk the two arrived at the largest building in the city, having thousands of floors. Parrot walked over to the elevator and entered. Once Secretary entered the elevator, Parrot punched several buttons into the key pad, before the Elevator moved up. Once they stopped they were at the top floor. Parrot got out and looked around, surprised that the top floor was empty. "Uh... Dedan's office is this way."Parrot said, motioning for Sect to follow.
Secretary noticed the Elsen's brief surprise and stared at him interestedly. "Alright ... Is something wrong?" He questioned as he continued to follow his guide with his hands interlocked behind his back.
"There are normally more Elsen up here."Parrot said. He walked down the hall stopping at a tall door. He knocked on it. After a few moments it opened. "What?!"Dedan asked angrily. "If it's about that Shark thing again I swear I'll"Dedan said before noticing Secretary. "You're fancy huh? I guess you lead him up here?"Dedan asked Parrot, who gave a nervous nod. Dedan sighed, motioning for the two to enter his office. "What is it? I'm very busy and only now just got a chance to sit down."Dedan said, sitting in a large rotatory seat. Depsite the seat's size, he was still larger. "And again, if it's about that stupid Shark story you two might as well leave."Dedan said, shooting Parrot a glare.
Secretary raised a brow. "Huh .. Today must be an free day, then?" He said, not really caring if the other Elsen answered or not. He waited for the door to open only to be greeted by the yelling that was Dedan. He ignored Dedan's remark towards himself and made his way into the Guardian's office. He looked up at Dedan with a blank expression. "I am very sorry about this unannounced intrusion, Guardian Dedan, but I came here for business purposes. Guardian Enoch has requested that I ask you to send more shipments of meat to his Zone." He adjusted his own tie casually. "I certainly did not come to bother you with such .. A strange story ..?" He glanced at the other Elsen strangely.
Dedan nodded. "I'll see to it that Enoch's Shipments of meat are tripled."Dedan said. "If that's all you came here for I'd like it if you two left now."Dedan said. Within a few seconds Parrot was out in the hallway, waiting for Secretary.
"Alright, thank you for your cooperation. I'm sure Guardian Enoch will be thrilled to hear this." Secretary slightly bowed his head before leaving the office. He exhaled slowly once he was out of the office and a puff of smoke came pouring from his mouth. "Ugh .. I hate this .." He slowly looked over at Parrot, it was more of a glare than anything. "Shark story, huh?"
"Uh.. y-yeah. I ran into this guy, his name was Snoiit. He uh, had a head kinda like one of those sharks. One of the weird ones that looks like a hammer. He said he was gonna beat the guardians and take over everything."Parrot explained looking at the floor. Unbeknownst to Parrot or Secretary, the aforementioned Shark-man had arrived at the top floor, using another elevator.
Secretary took a moment to process what Parrot had said. "Really, now ..?" A slight smile appeared on his face. He covered his mouth with his hand to conceal his amusement at the story. "That's ... Haha, that's quite a story to believe. If that is true, which I think it's highly unlikely, I'm sure the guardians could easily take care of themselves against a .. 'Hammer Shark Man'." He began to walk towards the elevator they came in.
Parrot nodded, giving another sigh. He went back to the elevator and went inside. He was about to punch in the buttons to the first floor before several loud crashes and bangs came from Dedan's office. "Mr.Dedan!"Parrot shouted, immediately bolting to the Dedan's office. He didn't know, or really care, if the Shark-man was there, or if some other creatures had gotten in and attacked Dedan. "Mr.Dedan! Are you okay?!"Parrot called desperately knocking on the door. The door flung open, with a beaten and unconscious Dedan falling out and hitting the floor with a loud thud. Parrot jumped back, flattening himself against the wall. Pete let out a surprised squawk, quickly fluttering up off of Parrot's head.
Secretary had barely gotten into the elevator before the loud noises had occurred. He watched Parrot bolt out of the elevator and hesitantly peeked his head out to see what was going on. At seeing Dedan unconsciously fall on the floor he hurriedly made his way to the fallen Guardian. "Uh .." He looked at Parrot with a pokerface in an attempt to hide his shock. " .. Guardian Dedan?" He kneeled down and briefly checked on the tall Guardian, he seemed to be breathing so he wasn't all that worried. He got up again and made his way past the Guardian to the entrance of the office. He looked back at Parrot, questioning him silently, mostly out of confusion on what was happening.
Parrot was frozen, eyes wide and emitting black smoke, along with the smoke escaping his mouth. He was clearly staring at something above Secretary. Before Sect got too far into the office he bumped into something. "Hey! Watch it shorty!"A voice called. The voice belonged to the Shark Man Parrot mentioned. He was easily twice the height of Secretary. It did have a hammerhead Shark head. It had a thin body, with arms that broadened and became bulkier towards his massive hands. "And the tall guy's not the Guardian any more. I am."The shark man said.
