Traxton had just arrived at aa crime scene. He sighed stepping out of his car looking around. "Let me guess.Another heart attack?"He said to a police officer, who gave a nod in return. "Yes sir. But, this one seemed to have put up a fight though."The officer said, leading the detective inside.
Inside the home was a mess to say the least. Pictures were knocked onto the floor, a few tables were over turned. The home-owners phonogrph(Record player) had been smashed, bent and broken, a shattered record was on the floor near it. And finally the victim. the victim was an average man,who was probably in his mid-to-late twenties and was clearly having been beat up on prior to death, having bruises, a bloody nose, and even a black eye. Though of clear note, the man was very fit, clearly not who you'd expect to have a heart attack, though lately Traxton had gotten used to this.

A woman in a black long coat and black heels had arrived at the scene. When she showed her badge at the door of the appartment, the man gave her a suprised look and let her in. It was rare for a woman to become a detective in her time and she knew that. She had worked hard, very hard to get where she was right now, although she couldn't deny that being Larry Norris' daughter wasn't a part of her being where she was.
She walked under the yellow tape and looked around while she put on her gloves. Her eyes shifter from one corner to another as she thought about her previous cases. For months now, she had been looking for a clue to these mysterious deaths and all of her other cases had been in Los Angelos. Until now, the murderer had suddenly moved his killing spree to New York and so did Nora. Well, she hoped it was the same murderer.

"Hey! Traxton! We got another Detective here!"A police officer called. Traxton glanced up, looking i nthe direction of the cop. "Alright, sen him in here"Traxton said, turning his attentonback to the man, trying to find anything tht might be a sign as to what caused his heart attack.
She walked around in the room, looked around for any patterns that might've been the same. To one of the forensic scientist she waved to bring her a bag. With one hand she held the bag open and with the other she collected some evidence. Then she heard someone call her sir and she turned around, only to suprise the young man and hear him apologize. "I'm so sorry Miss but the other detective would like you to join him in the other room." Portia nodded polite and followed him in the other room.
Quickly the young man wispered something in the other detective's ear. "Euhm, Sir, it's a woman." Portia smiled and walked towards the man. "Well, since we have established that I'm a woman, we can introduce ourselves? My name is Portia Norris from the LA department." She opened her coat to reveal her badge.

"Hmm?"Traxton said looking up. He had a brief moment of surprise on his face when he saw that this detective was a woman. The surprise didn't last long before his attention returned to the crime. "Names Adam Traxton ma'am. I apologize for calling yo usir, not too many women work in this field."He said awkwardly. "Uh, so if you're with the LA department, how come you're here in pennsylvania?"Traxtn asked. "You getting similar cases in LA?"Traxton asked.
Oop: I figure the rp could take place in Pennsylvania, if you have a problem with that lemme know and I'll fix it. Also don't have Traxton fully fleshed out yet, but I know he'll prolly have a few psychic abilities(Firstly the ability to see, hear, and interact with ghosts)

OOC; Sure, no problem. I'll edit that part. And don't worry, Nora was going to have some powers too (Vissions and telekenetio stuff.) if thats okay with you?
"It's okay, I'm used to your reaction." She crouched down to get a closer look at the victim. "And yes, We've had 4 simular cases there. But until now it stayed in LA." her right hand, wearing the glove, she moved the victims face. "Tell me about the victim?" After looking around its mouth and ears, she stood back up and walked around the victim, dodging the blood splatters. "Let me guess? Young guy, very fit and healthy but somehow he dies of a heart attack. What's different with my other cases is that he put up a fight. Our killer is getting sloppy."

"Either the killers getting sloppy, or this guy just decided he wouldn't go down easy."Traxton said. "But basically yeah. This is the third case like this we've had."Traxton explained. The first two were a woman, thinner than most people, and her family said she ate very healthy, and ehr family didn't have a history of heart conditions. The other case was aother man. He was old, so the heartattack wasn't all that much of a surprise, but when we found him his belongings were stolen, and oddly he had no blood in his body, same for the woman we found. Were your cases like this?"Traxton asked.
"Yes, we have been looking for pattern but it seems our killer doesn't really have one." She nodded and looked around. "Have you found any bitemarks?" Now in one other case, they had found strange bitemarks in the neck but it was only person so they didn't think anything of it. Nora on the other hand thought it was strange. "Were all your victims' body left with not a single drop left in them?" Nora took of her white gloves and put them in her pocket, then she opened her jacket and took out a notebook and tiny pencil. This case had been extra weird, so any weird findings she wrote down, making sure that she didn't lose or forgot anything.
"Yes, none of the bodies ahd any blood left in them, but there was plenty around and on them. From what we'd found there weren't any external wounds for the blood to have exited, save for the orifaces already present on the body, which did have blood around them, ut how it got out of them is a mystery so far."Traxton said looking around the room, as though he was looking for something.
"Hmmm. Interesting." She said while taking notes. "What about evidence? Did you find any sulfer around?" Her eyes went around the room when she saw him looking. "What's wrong? What are you looking for?" She stepped aside, her eyes pointed to the floor. She wondered if she might've missed something.
"Uh, nothing."Traxton replied. "Uh, and no we haven't found any sulfur or anything."He added, still looking around. Traxton didn't think that Portia would even believe him if he explained what he was looking for. "Alright... where is he?"Traxton muttered under his breath. Earlier he'd seen the tell tail sign of a ghost in theform of a see through man wandering the area.
She looked up a bit suprised. "What? Who?" Quickly she looked around, her eyes going over the room in confusion. Portia tried to read his face but she couldn't read out of it what he meant. After a couple of minutes she shrugged it off. "Anyway, I've been talking to some other people in the area and nothing strange was happening on the night of the crime. Neighbors didn't notice anything or hear anything which makes me think it was someone the victim knew. What do you think?" She walked towards the door and pointed at the girl so that she could start wrapping up the body to bring it to the morgue.
"Yeah that would make sense to me."Traxton said. "If you could excuse me for a second."Traxton said before wandering off deeper into the house. He checked multiple rooms before spotting something out of the corner of his eye. A man was slumped over in a chair. The color of the man's clothing was muted, as were his own colors, and the chair could be lightly seen through him. "There you are."Traxton said. The man seemed surprised when Traxton acknowledged him. "Y-you can see me?"The man asked standing up. Traxton nodded. "Yeah I can, and I'm gonna need to ask you a few questions."The detective added.
The detective went in the other room and Portia nodded to then look through the notes of the other cases she brought. Something didn't add up and it had been like that for all the cases, she just needed to figure out what it was. Before closing the folders she went to find the detective, so they could take over the details of the surroundings of the appartment. But what she walked into was a bit strange.
"Euh, who are you talking too?" She asked, looking around for a person. The room was completely empty, not a single person but Traxton was there. Although this striked her as strange, she knew that there was an explenation. See, Portia wasn't just a person. She had a few abilities up her sleeve and all the strange cases had prepared her for any weird events that might occur. "Anything you need to tell me?"

Traxton jumped when he heard portia. He glanced over his shoulder and sighed when he saw her. "I'd tell you, but you wouldn't believe me."Traxton said. He glanced back at the ghost, and sighed. Even if Portia didn't believe him, it wouldn't kill him to let her know what was going on. "I'm currently talking to the victim. I know you can't see or hear him, but I promise you he's standing right there."Traxton said.
She looked at him with narrow eyes. Not in disbelieve, she did believe him. "Okay, what does he have to say?" She sat down in the chair, next to the door and crossed her legs at the knee, her hands resting on her lap. Her reaction was far from normal and her face was intense and focused. "How long have you had this ability?"
"Well. So far he's told me that the killer was a woman. He didn't know her. She'd broken into the house somehow, and in self defense he attacked her. They struggled for a few minutes and she did something to him and all of a sudden he couldn't move. Then he said he suddenly had a heart attack."Traxton explained. "And I've been able to do this for about as long as I can remember."Traxton said. "Oh, I am going to need a loved one or a friend who isn't against the idea of ghosts. Can't just say the victim told me what happened or I'll be fired."Traxton said to the ghost.
She nodded and thought about the situation for a bit. "Yeah, you can't. But how will you convince a familymember of your ability to speak with ghosts? How do you do it in other cases?" This was a bit of a tough situation. They knew more about the case but the way they got the information would throw Traxton in an asylum or worse.
"Well, I take the family member out somewhere the ghost is able to go, normaly someplace outside so I can get a car there, and try and get as much energy syphoned from the car to the ghost so it can make a physical manifestation. With enough energy, enough to drain a car's battery, the ghost is able to show the last moments of their life, which is usually in the last thirty minutes to an hour to death. That's usually enough time to show the full murder take place."Traxton explained. "Unfortunately not all ghosts are able to show what hapened for multiple reasons, it might be too tramatic for the ghost to relive, or to show to a family member, the ghsot may not be able to absorb enough energy to show what happened, somehting like that."Traxton added.
