Okay, this is a Pacific Rim roleplay.

In the Year 2015, a giant monster attacked San Francisco, coming from a rift deep in the pacific ocean called the breach It took the military 8 days to take it down, and by that time it had destroyed three cities. Once it was dead, the world mourned the dead, memorialized the attack, and moved on. Then six months Later, a second attack hit Manila. Then the third; and the fourth. Then the world realized that this was not going to stop. So the worlds leaders came together, pooling their resources and throwing aside old rivalries for the greater good. And the jaeger program was born. It was originally meant for a single pilot to control a giant machine, but when scientists realized that it was too much for a single human brain, they implemented a two pilot system. Left Hemisphere, right hemisphere pilot connection. And when the next Kaiju came, they were ready. And they started winning. It turned Jaeger pilots into rock stars and kaiju into toys. But Then everything changed.

In the movie the main character is originally paired with his brother in the Jaeger Gypsy Danger, but after his bother is killed, he disappears and five years pass. Now the man who was in charge of the jaeger program is asking him to come back and run defense for another jaeger to carry out a plan that he has. Over the course of the movie, out of the four remaining Jaegers, including Gypsy Danger, two of them fall, and only Gypsy and the Australian Jaeger Striker Eureka remain to carry out the plan of bombing the breach. In a turn of events, Stryker sacrifices themselves to give gypsy a chance to destroy the breach.

This rp takes place after all of that, when the world makes new jaegers, in case another threat arises, and they are training their pilots. But before training can be completed, another race of aliens begin sending their own Kaiju, learning from their predecessors mistake. Now, you wil need to be in pairs, so I was thinking about 10 people. That's five Jaegers. You can choose your partners and the name of your Jaeger, etc.

Great. it is one of my favorite movies honestly, I was gonna type out h=out exactly how the movie happened, then I was like: ":maybe I should just sum it up" lol

but yeah, I've got four human characters(All four are interchangeable with eachother and pilot two Jaegers), and four Kaiju.

I've got a mecha pilot Character, as you well know Sketch, called Alec Wilson his mech is called Ronin. I wouldn't mind another RP with him!

I'm gonna intro some one who is rift compatible like his older sister or his cousin or even his girlfriend but more likely his sister so don't sweat it Bhra!

Fun fact: can conjoined twins (two heads one body) can control a jeager on it's own? xD

That's not a fact if its a question and no. They wouldn't be able to get in independent harnesses, and they would not be able to fight

Buuuut the main problem was the neural overload, which would be solved, beeeccaauuuse two heads xD

But they dont have the mobility needed to perform any combat moves.

Why not? they've got a full function body

There needs to be two separate pilots to control a Jaeger from my understanding. If I'm right it's to ease up the load of controlling a giant robot on the body of one pilot, thus having two pilots share one body wouldn't really work. While there are two individuals piloting the mech, they share the body and as a result the single body they share takes the full load of controlling the Jaeger, which is too much for a single body to handle.

Ehh,sorry, but its really bothering me. Its Drift compatible. Not rift. Not trying to be a know it all or a smart ass, but I just had to point that out.
