The wind creaked the old wood of the abandoned house, showing what the age of the structure might actually be. The house was just outside of the city, hidden within the trees that surrounded the southern side, and it seemed to have long been forgotten. But, there was someone inhabiting it for the night. A female sat silently on a pile of scrap cloth, looking out the shattered window toward the city. Her long, blond hair fell behind her, moving just slightly when a little bit of wind would find its way between the cracks and holes. She sported a black suit, with thin white pin stripes running down it. Gold chains hung around her neck, wrists, and waist, holding celtic charms on their links. She gave a soft sigh, and turned her cyan eyes to look around the house. At least she was well hidden here.

Was in a bit of a mood tonight. A group of young punks had stopped her in the streets to harass her for money, smokes and things of the like. They were fairly instant about it too, not taking no for the answer. After one roughly shoved her she popped him in the jaw, sending him flying backwards. Then while they were gaping about what happened she tapped here celerity ability and was gone in a flash.

She ran at full speed for several blocks, only stopping once she felt there was enough distance put between them. Her irritation drove her out of the city, seeking a bit of solitude for the time being. She headed south, intent on the abandoned building in the woods. Quite often other vampires could be found there as well.

If the night had continued on in silence, then maybe she would have been content with staying in the abandoned house. But... she felt that wouldn't be the case. Especially since when she picked up the scent of an enemy nearby. She couldn't tell if it was just one, or more, since the wind seemed to be strong enough to mix the scents, but she knew there was a vampire out there. She stood up quickly, turning and looking out the window just a bit. There wasn't sight of anything just yet, but she was ready. She backed herself against the wall, and waited. Waited to see if anything would come close enough to attack.

Smiled softly as she sighed the house peeking through the trees. She picked up the pace a bit as the wind blew steady. Soon her feet were on the stairs, she made no efforts to disguise them in the least. Typically the only vampires who hung out around this place were anarchs like herself. Rarely had she encountered an enemy here.

She pushed the door open with the palm of her hand and headed inside. Inside she cast her glance around peering into the shadows, her ears straining for sounds. She didn't pick up anything immediately, so she walked in. As she walked the heavy wrenches she had stuffed into her belt thumped softly against her leg. She spotted the pile of discarded clothing and perked a brow.

"It appears that someone has been here. . .those were else where last time I was here." her voice held a slight francophone accent to it.

Kai tensed her muscles just lightly, as if she were going to pounce on the girl. But, did she really want a fight? True, she did hate all vampires, but, she wasn't in the mood. So, she spoke in a low voice.

"I've been here... sorry if I am a messy house guest." She took a quiet step forward, letting the light that was coming from outside fall on her figure. Her face showed her displeasure of looking at the girl in front of her.

Hadn't particularly been looking for a fight tonight, if she had she would have prowled the streets and the club scene. She whipped around as Kai's voice sounded out, She looked the female over. Mostly for weapons. She perked a slight brow seeing the displeasure on the woman's face.

"Not my house Miss, so not to worry." she grinned a bit, it was friendly. "annnnd I don't imagine the owners care much. Otherwise it wouldn't be in such. .. a state." to emphasize the point she kicked an empty beer can to the side, away from them.

"So. . .what brings you to the skeleton of a house?" she asked. She sensed something about Kai, but what she couldn't quite figure out.

And then she wanted to punch the girl in the face... How dare one of her kind speak to her as if they were friends. Her hand went to reach around her, wanting to pull her one of her guns from the holster behind her, but she stopped. "Right --" she said, and then looked around. "Are there other... friends of yours around?" Her face did not change expressions though the whole though process she held.

She had to keep her numbers straight. She needed to know what and who she might be facing.

Tended to be a fairly friendly person by nature, unless she was crossed, her mood and demeanor would change completely.

Sensing the hostility in the unnamed woman. She grew a bit wary but not enough to let it show. She smirked a little bit seeing Kai move her hand behind her back. Misty figured that the woman was armed in some way, but so was she. The heavy wrenches in her belt were not just mere tools she used when she was working on a car. She often used them as blunt weapons, and they worked quite well as such.

A brow was perked to Kai's question, "Well. . ." she smiled a bit, "I had brought no one with me if that's what your asking." she answered truthfully, "But god only knows who's lurking about here, or who might show up." this too was truthful, and she knew it would give the woman something else to consider before making a hostile act

She moved her hands back, the idea of others being out there, didn't go over well with her. She didn't want to start anything she might not be able to handle. She moved from her corner, and strode past the female without another word. A hiding spot, was not a hiding spot, when someone had found you. She left the skeleton of a house, and made her way toward the city, deciding that the best place to hide, would be among people for the night.

Watched Kai move around the room, as she passed by Misty, an amused grin came to her face. "So much for making new friends. . ." she murmured softly.

She turned and watched the woman leave, "Just watch out. . .the Sabbat are out and about tonight." She called after her. Misty was fairly certain that Kai didn't know what they were though.

She didn't reply, though she didn't know what the woman had been talking about. It didn't seem like a big deal though. She could handle herself well enough, as long as a large group wasn't pouncing on her all at once. She stopped before the hill started to decline, and looked down. She had avoided cities for a long while, so it would feel strange to be among people. Normal or not. She looked back behind her, just to make sure she wasn't being followed.

Pulling out her guns for a brief moment, she made sure they were loaded and ready, and continued on.

would sigh softly after the woman left. She poked around the house for a bit, then grew bored of the place. She would leave it's grounds and head back to the city.

"I wonder if she's smart enough to avoid 'em. . ." she murmured to herself, "Especially since she's alone and they tend to travel in packs."

Misty was about 15 or 20 minuets behind Kai, so she wouldn't be coming up on her any time soon.

She soon stopped at the edge of town, and looked to the building in front of her. She was inspecting them, to see if any happened to be abandoned. That would serve well as a place to stay. But no such luck. She cursed under her breath and she continued on.

"First city I've every seen that didn't have some dead building on the edge of town..."

She took the first street, and then headed down it, looking for some building that might be empty. She didn't have any money, so staying somewhere nice was completely out of the question. She passed a group of people... pausing for just a moment to look at them. At least two of them were undead, so she had to steer clear of this area.

She eventually wound up near the hospital after wandering for a while. She looked to the seemingly empty store that stood across the way. She debated for a long moment, and then made her way over to it, trying to find a way in. Eventually, she pulled off the wood that blocked one of the windows, and slipped inside.

Would prowl around the city for a while, it was a busy night there were plenty of people and other beings about tonight. Soon she met up with someone, after a few words she nodded and changed her direction. She was heading towards the hospital, just down the road from the hospital was a bar called Moonlighters, a popular anarch hang out.

She As she walked she ducked down an alley, always preferring to use the back door of the dive it was less busy, and tended to get you to the center of the meetings quicker. She began humming a little tune to herself something she heard when she was a girl. As she walked past the store she perked a brow, "Crap." she says as she spots the board, "wonder if skits still has those explosives hiding in there."

The store had been abandoned for years and the building was owned by an anarch, so they tended to use it for storage purposes. She pondered going to the bar and grabbing a couple people to go in with her and check it out. Sighing softly she decided against it, and would slip inside through the window. She could have used the other entrance, but that might alert whoever was there that she knew they were here.

Maybe if she hadn't just entered the building a little before hand... and hadn't been so aware of what was around her (mostly for paranoia) she wouldn't have noticed the woman entering. But she did. Just as Misty's feet hit the ground, Kai had her guns drawn at the woman.

"What the hell are you doing, following me?" she said, her voice low and threatening. "Did you tell your friends I was here? Because I am not afraid to fight, if I have to."

Would have her right hand on her one for her wrenches, her left balled into a tight fist as her feet hit the floor. As Kai's voice sounded out, She rose her pale blue eyes to her.

"Lord, it's just you creeping round here." she says a bit in dismay, "Thought you would have been something else that's not supposed to be here." her grip on the wrench didn't loosen in the slightest though. "As for my friends, well you should have poked around the neighbourhood before settling in." she growled, "The guy who run's moonlighter's owns this place...he wouldn't be overly happy to know that you're in here."

She would take a breath, "Whatever your dislike for me is, I hadn't planned on getting in a fight." her eyes narrowed, debating on leaving the femme here but Misty wasn't sure what Skitz had hiding out in this building so she decided against it.

"Oh, so I am just that unlucky, I keep finding the places you know so well." It was obvious she wasn't about to believe it; true or not. She still held her weapons there, and looked to the woman before her seriously. She could smell her scent fully now... and she knew what she was.

"A vampire... what kind?"

Grinned from ear to ear, "This is my city, I know it quite well thank you." she says with a simple shrug, "There's very few places in this damned city that I don't know." Misty regarded the weapons mildly, then met the woman in the eye when Kai confronted her about what she was.

"And what gives you the impression I'm a vampire?" she grinned from ear to ear, her canines predominantly showing.

"Because I can smell that undead blood a mile away. I wasn't sure in the house back there, since the wind was a little strong. But here, there is no wind. And I can smell it well enough," Kai said, her voice almost filled with loathing. She looked at Misty with an expression that said she wasn't about to back down.

Would arch a brow, "Well girl what do I smell like? Death, decay?" asked sharply a bit of a wicked grin crossing her lips, "Or something sweeter?" she asked. When she had heard the amount of loathing in the femmes voice it kinda triggered something, Misty could be a bit of an instigator, for lack of a better words. She's great at poking at sleeping bears.
