Blinked then laughed, "Well that's a fairly broad answer." she says with a grin, "As for a place to stay...well that might be needed." she wasn't sure how long it would take her to travel through the forest.
She would arch a brow when his form began to change, she watched him carefully with her bright green eyes. Taking in the changes silently, after he had pushed his head back she gave him a soft smile, "A being with many faces, and forms. Useful." her smile broadened to a grin a moment.

He smiled "wolf, Man and Dragon. What more could i ask for, hmm?" His eyes had that same gleaming to them, as if there was the light again. He looked around a bit "Well, let me lead you in the right direction. I know these forests like the back of my hand. Come, follow me." He smirked lightly and turned to head into the gloom of the dense wood.
Grinned a bit, "To be a woman," a little laugh passed her lips, "But I guess I'm a bit biased on that." she would perk a brow a bit seeing the odd light to his gaze but she said nothing. "Alright lead away Martivir."
She would fall into step a few paced behind him. She rose acidic eyes to the gloomy forest before her, "T'is not very welcoming is it...." she thought aloud, "Not to say anything bad about the forest....it's just a bit foreboding." she folded her hands into her cloak as she walked behind him.

"Its darkest during the day. It might seem strange, but at night the trees seem to move, allowing the blue light from the moon mix with the shadows." Even though there were multiple roots and dips in the ground, Martivir was walking through with ease. The only visible life was a few bugs and birds that clung to the massive trees.
picked her way between the roots and dips carefully, mindful of not falling and possibly twisting or breaking a limb. "The trees move about at night? Like walkabout...or just part to allow more light in." she asked perking a brow looking up to him momentarily forgetting her caution.
Bad idea, she slipped on a tree root when she took her next step.

Before her getting any real injury, Martivir quickly turned and grabbed her wrist. The other arm undee her waist so she wouldnt break her spine "whoa there." He stated pulling her back up. With his cloak parted, his under apparel of cream/white leather armor was visible. Sewn up the chest with deep blue thread, the lining the color of molten silver.
Had expected to hit the ground with some nasty injuries. Thankfully her new acquaintance was quick. She would grumble a little bit to him, not at him just to him. "Aye stupid of me to look away from the ground."
She spotted a flash of silver, white and a little bit as he pulled her to his feet. "Thank you she says. fixing her cloak which had gone askew when she had stumbled. It have given a flash of there rest of her attire. A black velvet and leather corset, and a black and red velvet skirt.

"Aye, probably." He grinned, his teeth white and held razor like incisors . He continued walking, ocassionally glancing to the foliage. "Stay close, we are almost there." The dangers of this forest were heavy. A multiple assortment of beasts roamed among the trees. Dopplegangers, Manticores, and venomous snakes that are as thick as logs.
[my god sorry for the delay, this time of year is really busy]
Nyx mirrored his grin with her own, she mildly noted his sharp teeth. Now she was more careful about where she walked, her eyes only occasionally flickering up to him to make sure that he was still in front of her. Heeding his warning she stayed with in arms length of him. "Where are you taking me any way?" she asked with mild curiosity

"There is a cabin up ahead that is gaurded with an ancient spell. You can stay there, no creature will be able to go in. Well, except those who can take the form of a human like myself." The terrain cleared slighly, revealing a hill of green grasses, and a stream that runs around its base. The cabin sat quietly on top.
Continued to pick her way carefully as she walked behind him. A brow flared as her answered her. "Well...as long as nothing unpleasant can take human form I take it we'll be safe." a little laugh came from her.
She looked about as their surroundings began to change, "Nice little spot." she murmurs softly.

"Yes it's nice, but keep them shutters locked tight or else you will encounter those damn Dopplegangers." He continues forward toward the cabin. "This use to be home to a Mage, but they died, the spell still remains on the cabin though."
Nodded, "Ahh...and they're such fun creatures to deal with." her tone was of course rather sarcastic. She followed behind him, "So will they give us any trouble on the way in?" she asked as the made their way towards the cabin. She had yes to test her magick in this body so that might prove to be interesting
He chuckled some "No, but they will try to get you to look at them if your shutters are open. I would hope you know that if you look at a doppleganger while they are in a mirror image of yourself, that you will die and the creature takes your form forever." Soon the roots cleared revealing a small stone path.
"Well shucks." she says with a little giggle, in reference to not trouble being given on the way in. She nodded as they mounted the stone path, "I do know," she smirked a bit, "And I'd rather like to keep this body. Thus far it's served my purposes well." she murmured softly.
[haven't lost my net yet...so I figured I'd make a few posts]

He smiled a bit "Have you had more than one corpse, or is this a first?" He stepped lightly, minding the insects that scurried from the path.
Lilith giggled, this question was often asked of her. "No this is not my first....I have had many over the generations." she too stepped over the bugs on the path, mostly because she didn't really know what they were. "This is my first that is not related to my first body by blood." she had been tied to a family of witches for eons.
"Well, I guess all of us have our ways of living. Even if it is living in corpse bodies." Upon reaching the cabin, Martivir would open the door. The inside was two rooms. Bedroom and a small kitchen area. A fire danced in the far corner if it's brick shelter. "Keep that fire going, it's what keeps the creatures away."
Lilith grinned to his words, her grin was so broad her teeth could be seen, they were sharp and pointed. "Yes...well entities such as myself...prefer to be...strongly anchored to this world." a laugh came from her, "If I were not anchored in this body, I would still be around, but my powers would be limited greatly."
Following him into the cabin she looked around, eyes settling on the fire. An element she love'd dearly.

"It gets rather dark in here around nightfall, there a few candles in the bed side drawer. That should help if you need 'em." He walked around, checking the ceiling and windows for any holes of fractures. "This place has been here for a long time, but I think I patched everything up pretty good."
