When the wild boar emerged from the closet, Marina stared at it in a mixture of confusion and discomfort. She didn't know how to respond to someone owning a wild boar as a pet. And she really didn't know how to respond to having it glare at her like it wanted to kill her. Marina moved a little closer to Jake, as if expecting him to shield her from his pet should it decide to go ninja pig on her and attempt to murder her where she stood.
She studied the clothes that he pulled out for her. Well, it was a step in the right direction to have something to wear. Looking around, she attempted to determine where she could shift without prying eyes. She poked her head out of the bedroom to look for a bathroom, since that would be the most ideal place to shift and get dressed.

Looking around, she attempted to determine where she could shift without prying eyes. She poked her head out of the bedroom to look for a bathroom, since that would be the most ideal place to shift and get dressed.
"The clothes should be large enough for you to put on before you turn back to normal."Jake said. "But if you want I can get Pigzors and step out into the hall."Jake offered.
Marina weighed out her choice for a moment, before awkwardly sitting down. She felt a little uneasy about having someone present and watching her while she shifted. It wasn't a pretty process and she didn't think he'd enjoy watching it anymore than she'd enjoy having him watch it.
"I'll take that as a you need your privacy."Jake said, climbing up his ladder. He hoisted Pigzors off, nearly falling off the ladder. When got to the ground he dropped Pigzors to the ground and ushered the boar out into the hall, before leaving himself and closing the door behind him.
She watched him go and once the door was closed, she closed her eyes and focused on shifting back to her human form. It hurt a bit as her bones reshaped themselves, snapping back into place. The sound of her shift was not a pretty one, the cracking of bones and occasional quiet noise of pain as she tried to cope with the agonizing experience of her body changing shape. Werewolf shifts were not so easy or painless as a shift for a true shapeshifter would be. When it was done, she pulled the shirt and pants on. Then, finding her voice, she spoke loud enough that she could be heard through the door. "I'm done now..." Her voice was soft and rather sweet, and very timid.
Jake opened the door, with Pigzors immediately forcing himself back into the room, and returning to Jake's bed. "Okay, so what's your name?"Jake asked entering the room.
"Marina. What's yours?" She stood up, folding her arms over her chest as if to shield herself from him. Her eyes followed the boar as it entered, watching it distrustfully. Then, she looked at the boy, studying him. The longer she was in the house, the more bothered she felt. Its smell was so utterly strange to her and it frustrated her. It smelled like changelings... which basically smelled like nothing... they had a very subtle scent to them, which made them difficult to find because even a werewolf's nose couldn't easily pick up the scent. The only strong smell in the house was the boar... and possibly some other animal smells that she didn't bother to try to distinguish.
"I'm Jake. Did you attack me in the forest?"He asked, unsure of whether or not she was amongst the werewolves that attacked.
She was silent for a moment, debating whether to lie or not. "I was there. But I didn't attack you." Was her truthful response. Her eyes lowered to stare at the ground as she tried to not feel bad about her pack attacking someone as mindlessly as they had today.
"Okay, well no hard feelings then."Jake said. If you're smart, and can talk and udnerstand english, why do you hang out with those ferals?"Jake asked.
"They're not all feral." Marina said, then she stared at the floor for a while. "I've never really lived any other life than the one I live there. I mean, I speak English and think a lot like a human, I guess... but I've never really lived among humans." She shrugged. "I don't even know much about how humans live or work."
"Okay. Uh... I guess you can stay here for a while if you want."Jake said.
The offer surprised her and she studied him for a while, debating whether or not she was willing to take a risk and live with a stranger, who may or may not be able to squish her like a bug if he so desired. "I... don't know if I should." She said, feeling uneasy with the idea of abandoning everything she knew so suddenly.
"Well, living here'll most likely be a bit easier."Jake said. "And alot less violent."He added.
Marina was quiet for a bit, thinking about the possibility. "I suppose so. But are you sure your mom won't mind?" She glanced at him curiously.
"My mom'll be fine with it."Jake said. "And if you can't stay here I know some other people who'd be willing to give you some help."Jake said.
"I... guess." She felt a little uneasy about it, but part of her wanted to at least try it. "I guess I can try it... for a little while."
"Alright. Well, I'll show you to the guest room if you want."Jake offered.
"Okay." Marina took a deep breath, wondering if this was the right choice to make. But, there was no turning back now. She had just taken her first step out of the world of wolves and into the world of humans.
Jake motioned for her to follow him as he headed down the hall way back towards the stairs. At the end of the hall way was another room, specifically the guest room.
