Seren stopped right in front of the gyms doors. He heard battling going on. "It seems like a battle has already been started. We should probably just wait in the bleachers."

Wattson

"Dodge it Magnemite!" The electric type quickly moved to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack. "Thunder Shock, go!" Magnemite complied and shot a blast of electricity at Lampent, the attack hitting its mark, causing a good amount of damage. Moments later, sparks emanated from Lampent, the Thunder Shock also paralyzed it. "Yeah, now that's what I'm talking about!"

"Oh no...."Jenny whimpered. "U-Use curse!"Jenny shouted. Thankfully, Ashes was able to use the attack. It cut off the rest of its energy, and laid a curse on the Magnemite, before fainting and being returned to its pokeball. Jenny gulped, throwing her pokeball sending out her Mismagius. "O-Okay Raven, use shadow ball on the magnemite."Jenny stammered. By now she was really getting worried she'd lose again.

"Well then let's go in." Fal smiles and enters the electronic doors. "Welcome challengers. I am sorry to say this but Wattson is currently in a battle at the moment. You may watch if you so wish to." The assistant said pointing out the stairs along the left and right each one going to a average sized set of bleachers. "Thank you. Me and my friend here will do that. Would be interesting to watch." Fal pats Serens back and smiles walking towards the stairs. "Have a good day." The woman says as she walks off to a desk.

Seren sits next ro falderen and notices the. Challengers pokemon. "Why is she using ghost typea at a electric type gym? Wouldn't it be a better choice to usr a ground or grass type?" He was curious about her party.

Wattson

"Magnemite, use Thunder Shock!" Wattson ordered. Magnemite shot the Thunder Shock at the Shadow ball, the two attacks colliding and making an explosion and covering the area in smoke. "Now use Magnet Bomb!" Magnet Bomb never missed, so Magnemite didn't even need to be able to see Mismagius to use it. The barrage of metal bombs bombarded the Pokemon from all sides, causing a good amount of damage. However, it was no time to celebrate as Magnemite was damaged by the curse, if Wattson didn't wrap it up soon, he would be in trouble.

"Use payback!"Jenny ordered. Raven nodded. She soon began to glow with purple energy. She shot herself at Magnemite, colliding with it. The attack's power was doubled, due to Magnemite's previous attack.

"You are not thinking clever enough. Using only type advantage can lead you into a trap. For example you see how Magnemite is a electric steel type. He could know a move that could counter a grass type. Maybe not Magnemite specifically but similar pokemon. I know one pokemon he has. A pokemon he got a few years back. It can use fire type moves and such. Something else to know are different moves like hidden power. Hidden power changes in type depending on the individual pokemon. Such as two Magnemite could have different types of hidden power. One could have say fire and the other ice." Fal explained this watching the battle and relaxing in the seat.

"I seen. But my question is why use a ghost type. There advantages hail over physic and sometimes other ghost types. Unless Magnemite knows a dark type move of of course."

Wattson

"Quick, use Thunder Wave!" Wattson instructed. While the Pokemon was up close Magnemite landed the attack, paralyzing Mismagius. The curse damaged Magnemite once more and it fainted, unable to continue.

"Magnemite is unable to battle, Mismagius wins!" The ref announced.

"Alright Magnemite, return." he said as he called Magnemite back. "Alright, one Pokemon left, you really seem to have me on the ropes this time Jenny, but I'm not going to let you win so easily. Come on out, Voltorb!" He threw his Pokeball and Voltorb popped out, giving Mismagius its typical menacing glare. "Use Charge!" Voltorb stored up its electrical energy, ready to strike.

Jenny gulped, not sure whether she should switch out or not. She might be able to lower the Voltorb's health a bit with Raven, but Raven was paralyzed, and chances are wouldn't be fast enough to dodge, and may not even be able to counter. "U-Use Shadow B-Ball"Jenny ordered. Raven nodded, forming the dark ball over her head, She launched the shadow ball, with a swing of her head, but before it was finished she locked up, sending the shadow ball flying off to the floor harmlessly."Oh no... nonononononono"Jenny whimpered.

"Just remember if there is no type advantage or disadvantage then it is determined more on skill." Fal said smiling at the sight of the battle.

"Yes that much of true. It will come down too the skill and training of the trainer and pokemon."

Wattson

"Got you right were we want you, Voltorb, use Charge Beam!" Wattson ordered. Voltorb shot out the powerful beam of electricity, scoring a direct hit, and it was extra powerful because of the Charge from before. "Follow up with Swift!" Wattson said. Voltorb shot out the star like projectiles at Mismagius, Swift never missed and it was paralyzed, so dodging was out of the question.

The Charge beam hit.. Whe nthe swift hit, it seemed to do no damage, thanks to Raven's tpying. Even then, the Swift was unnecessary, as the charge beam was enough to knock Raven out, sending her to the ground out of energy. Jenny gulped, withdrawing Raven. "G-Go, Hannibal."She whimpered, sending out Hannibal.

"Looks like this battle draws to a close." Fal says crossing his legs and chuckling.

He crosses his arms. "It looks that way doesn't it. He leans closer in anticipation.

Wattson

"Well, looks like this the home stretch Jenny, WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, and it looks like I'm the one at the disadvantage, but I'm not gonna let you win so easily." Wattson said with amusement. "Alright Voltorb, use Roll Out!" He ordered, he knew it wouldn't be very effective, but it was the only move that he could use against the Golurk, so he just had to... roll with it (LOL). Voltorb began to roll rapidly towards Golurk, it was big and slow so Voltorb was able to land the first attack. It didn't do much damage at all, but the physical contact had activated Voltorb's ability and paralyzed the hulking ghost type.

"WHAHAHAHAHA, well would you look at that, looks like lady luck is on my side today." Wattson bellowed jollily. Voltorb then circled back around, going in for another blow.

Jenny whimpered. "U-Use Earthquake."She said. GHannibal let out a groan. Thankfully the paralasys didn't stop this attack. Hannibal rose his leg into the air. He slammed it into the ground before Voltorb hit him again. The ground shook with Hannibal's powerful stomp.

As the rest of gym shook lightly Fal looked over the battle. "Golurk is an interesting pokemon." He says with a small grin. "She is an interesting opponent."
