-Claire steps into the studio where she takes her lessons, glad to be out of the rain. She sets her umbrella by the door and wipes her shoes on the matt before heading for her usual piano, if there's more than one. She pulls out the sheet music she's been looking over for the past week or so and sets it infront of her, looking over it a bit more, waiting for her instructor.-
It's always good to be early or on time, but some, the instructor in particular, had the tendency to be more lenient with their time. Finding 5:00 to be 5:30 and so on... In other words Nelís was late, sauntering into the studio as though he had no guilt, no shame in it whatsoever.. In which he didn't. He was late, that was that, he was present, it was time to get started. It occurred to him that he had a new student today, or rather he was the new instructor. He'd received an E-mail weeks prior that he would be mentoring Claire as a pianist. Music was something he was found about. Nothing about it should all that technical. He could only hope his student thought the same.
"I hope you don't mind, I'm a bit tardy," he shook off his dark coat and hung it over his arm. His dark cobalt hair was neatly tied back, allowing the cool air around his neck whereas his bangs swept over his brows, right above his auriferous gaze. "What do you think of the piece?" He gestured towards the general direction of the piano, not having yet looked up at his student as he was trying to respond to the messages of past students that he haven't lost touch with.

Clair had been pacing when her instructor came in, worrying she'd gotten the wrong address and checking it over and over again. She breathes a sigh of relief when Nelis comes in, giving him a shy, yet polite, smile. "No, you're fine." She pulled her long, shiny blonde hair to the side. "I just thought I'd had the wrong address or something. And the piece is lovely. You picked it?" She asked.
Eventually he came to a stop and he slipped his phone into his coat pocket as to not distract him with the remainder of their time. His eyes finally lifted to his new student who appeared older than his last. Much lighter than his last too. Aside from the contrast he gave a welcoming grin and a slight dip of his head to show acknowledgment, however his hand didn't move from his side. It wasn't anything rude really. It was merely out of habit when they were bare and away from the confinement of his gloves. Surely he had his reasons if she ever were to ask.
Nelís studied her briefly, a quick look over prior to answering her question, "Actually no. It just happened to be there, but since you like it I suppose it'll stay. We won't be working with the written music yet anyway." Anyone could pick up that he was leaned towards the more youthful side than not. Always chipper and finding himself blabbering about. It was better than growing old and bitter, yes? In addition Nelís us exceptionally wise. Exceptionally wise from a twenty year old one would say, but people don't realize that wisdom has nothing to do with age. Wisdom is merely the power to see beyond your own reasoning and act or don't act upon it depending on the matter. It doesn't take a scientist nor the number of years you've lived to understand reason.
"You may know my name already, but if you don't it's Nelís Orlitt. I'll be teaching you how to play," he dipped his head towards the piano, "for the next few months."
