"Sure, we could do that," Tiberius said.
"No, we couldn't," Eshe said. "You're forgetting the village won't take us seriously, and if you think that's going to make that any less true, you're sadly mistaken." Eshe then turned back to Pezhvak and smiled. "We can offer you food and territory, maybe even find you a mate as well. That's probably what most of our money will go to is food and we can probably find you a nice hunting ground and share some of our food with you. The mate... might be harder."

"And why should I help then? The first suggestions I offered were sarcasm. I can acquire all of those on my own with a much less considerable threat to my personal being. If you truly want my assistance than you'll convince those villagers to leave me alone.
"But... we can't," Eshe said.
"No... we can," Tiberius said. "They think we're a joke because they don't know what we're capable of. What if we showed them?"
"...Why didn't I think of that?" Eshe asked.
Suddenly, the two went back to town where they went to the town's leader. He didn't seem happy to see them.
"Look, I told you, I don't want just anyone who thinks they're strong to go and get themselves killed," the leader said. "I want people who at least know what you're doing before they go and fight. And you can not tell me you are capable warriors."
"Oh no?" Eshe asked. Eshe slammed her cane into the ground. Eventually a spectral sarcophagus showed up in the area. Eventually it opened and there was a strange mummy in the casket. She was showing her necromancy powers.
"Big deal," the town leader said.
Eshe was a bit miffed at the Leader. "Alright Tiberius, it looks like we have no choice," she said.
"Right, got it," Tiberius said. Tiberius then started to change. His body twitched for a couple of seconds before it started to expand. His body started to gain more muscle definition as everything got bigger, including his arms. But the biggest change were some stone spikes that protruded out of the arms. He went from being a 100 pound wimp to a giant 550 pound beefcake. As he changed, he could tell the leader was intimidated.
"..." The leader was at a loss for words. He was unsure what to say.
"So, are we allowed to fight the rat?" Eshe asked.
"Ummmm... I'm still not convinced," the leader said. "Perhaps you have one more member?"
"Wun mur schmember?" Tiberius asked. "Thit jucks so shlappened..." Tiberius stopped when he noticed that he tends to slobber a lot in Emperor form. "Uhhh, Eshley?"
"We do have a third member," Eshe mentioned. "However, he will not join us unless you swear to leave him alone. Surely he will leave you alone."
"Fine, granted," the leader said. This pleased Eshe and Tiberius. Eventually they went back to the manticore to tell him the good news.
"Shyourl protheshion ish enslurred," Tiberius mentioned to Pez.
"Tiberius, maybe you should either change back or leave the talking to me," Eshe said.

Pez, glanced at the hulking beast that was Tiberius. "Peraps some lessons in Speech. I couldn't understand a word you said."Pez said.
"I think he said your protection is ensured," Eshe mentioned.
Pez blinked, unsure whether or not to trust Eshe or Tiberius, after all he had only just met them, and given his experiences with humans in the past few centuries, they weren't afraid to go back on their word. "I want to hear it from the village leader's mouth."Pez said. "I apologize for the lengths I am going, but I do not trust humans."Pezvhak said.
Tiberius tried swallowing all the saliva in his mouth before talking this time. He wanted to seem more clean. "Well, we could always take you there," he said in a very deep, low pitched voice that any human could probably not imitate without a voice distorter. "Now that they know who we are, we will probably have an easier time."
OOC: You want to decide what happens with the town leader?
OOC: You want to decide what happens with the town leader?
Oop: Okay that could work
"Then go get the leader and bring him here. I'm not risking a possible trap by going in that village."Pez ordered.

"Well... okay, I'll see what I can do," Eshe said.
Eventually the two went to fetch the leader. They told him that their third member is uncomfortable around a human village so they brought him to Pez.

Pez waited and soon the others arrived with the village leader. Pez glared at him. "If I do aid them you will leave me alone?"Pez asked.
"Huh? ...Your partner is a manticore?" the leader asked. "Woah, you never said..."
"I never say a lot of things," Eshe mentioned.
OOC: The town leader is an NPC, so you can control him if you wish.

"If I help these two kill that rat you will have your villagers stop their hunting parties, and agree to leave me alone?"Pez asked. "Uh... I... uh...."The village leader stammered. "The only reason I'm offering my aid is to get you to stop hunting me. If I let that rat continue to kidnap your children, eventually your village will die off. And simply waiting for that poses no threat to me. I've been evading your hunting parties for several years now. I know what paths they take, what weapons they use, the best time for an ambush. I can certainly survive until all of you die."Pez said. "Fine, we'll stop hunting you."The village leader said. "Just stop that monster."The village leader added.
"Thank you, snoww sclan whlee... *gulp* can we please go fight the rats now?" The leader nodded at the three before walking off. Tiberius smiled at Pez. "Good, now that that's settled, I'm going to shift back," Tiberius mentioned.
"Is that neccesary?" Eshe asked.
"I prefer to surprise my enemies with this form," Tiberius said. Eventually, Tiberius shrunk himself back to his normal self.

"Let's get this over with."Pez said, hopping to the ground. "Where is this rat?"He asked.
Oop: Did he say he knew where the rat was?
OOC: ...No, I guess not. Nevermind.
"Tiberius you fool, he was refering to the humans," Eshe said. "He knows where their paths are, not the rats. ...But anyway, yes we do know where they are. The leader has posted the location over town. Let us go."
As they were walking along, they were going deeper into the woods. They'd been walking for about half an hour.
"We still have a ways to go, but we should be near their hunting grounds soon," Eshe said. "If you wish you may help yourself to prey animals that you might find."

"I'm fine"Pez said. "Unlike most Manticores I have a handle on my hunger."Pez added, as he walked through the brush. He could definitely smell the scent of rats coming closer as they neared the hunting grounds.
Tiberius started to sniff the air. He looked at Pezhvak and noticed he was doing the same. "Do you smell something too?" Tiberius asked.
"Yes. I smell filth and disease."Pez replied. "Tell tale sign of a rat."Pez added. "Or a raccoon, or an Opossum. Or just vermin in general."He added.
