"Oh please. You're master is nothing but a pathetic rodent, just like you. A fully grown Bull Mantiocre would swallow him whole. That is assuming it didn't inject him with a lethal neuro-toxin made specifically to kill rats, and watched your master die a very slow and very painful death. Pez's tail was already curled outside the cage as the rat arrived. His tail shot, with the stinger embedding itself into the Rat's back.

"Hello?" the Rat taunted. "That stupid bunny was more intimidating than you, and you should see what he did to it." Suddenly, Pex shot his stinger out at the Rat's back, being able to inject the venom right into his back. Right away as the rat was dying, he immediately shouted "MASTER!" After the rat died, Tiberius had a feeling he angered the master.

"Pez, I don't think your species is as god-like as you want to think," Tiberius mentioned before grabbing the key and moving over to the cage.

"I know. I was bluffing. Besides, I'm not a fully grown Bull Manticore. Just an average 'common' Manticore as most humans had dubbed. He walked out of the cell, sneering at the corpse. "Let's get moving before his leader shows up. "Eshe, do you know any illusion magic? If so make 'replacements' of us."Pez said.

"Well... I am sure I could whip something up," Eshe said. Eventually she summoned two figures in the cage: A really large frame with a massive rib cage wrapped in bandages and a quadruped with a large tail, also wrapped in bandages. They eventually went to the background in the darkest part of the cage.

"Now, keep back there," Eshe said. "I can't actually summon perfect look-a-likes of us, but I can summon undead skeletal versions of things that kind of look like us. Now let's go."

Pez nodded. "So, where to?"Pez asked. Soon a child could be heard crying, though it blended in more to the sound of the other children. What caught Pez's attention was the smell. "I think I can smell an Elf."He said.

"An elf?" Eshe asked. "Is that relevant."

Sure enough, they got to the prison and saw several children of all different species, including the Tawaret child Kontar mentioned and also the elf that Pez mentioned.

"It's cold in here and that rat is scary," one of the children mentioned.

"Tiberius, let them out of the cage."Pez said.

"Not so fast, Tiberius," Eshe said. "First we have to make a little promise."

Eshe quickly turned around and glared at Pez. She had no fear of Pez as she stood above him, but Kontar was a bit scared. Eshe towered over Pez, which would intimidate most creatures. Unfortunately, Eshe was also a very big target. Being able to stand up to something that could effortlessly kill you in one blow took some serious guts.

"If we release these children, you must promise one thing," Eshe started. "You will NOT so much as harm them. YOU might consider children food, but we do not."

Pez rolled his eyes, not intimidated. "Oh please. I may be a Manticore but I do have Morals. Of all the humanoids I've eaten, I have never considered eating children."Pez hissed. "Unlock the cage.

"I don't believe you," Eshe said.

"Eshe, now may not be the time to question whether we trust Pez or not," Tiberius said. "Let's first escape and kill the Giant Rat." Eventually, Tiberius opened the cage and let the children out.

"As I said, I do NOT eat children."Pez responded as the children piled out of the cage. Eventually all were gone but one, a young elf girl, the elf Pez had smelled earlier.

"Huh, I wonder what's wrong with her," Eshe asked.

Meanwhile, the Tawaret girl looked over and noticed the elf as well before she went up to her and looked at the other Tawarets. "I think she's just scared," she said.

Pez glanced at the elf girl. He could tell she was a changeling and was very clearly terrified of just about everything. "You go get her."Pez said to Eshe. "Not only are you less intimidating than I, but you're also a parent and would probably know how to calm a child down better than I would."Pez said.

Eshe approached the elf girl, but she started to cower profusely. Eshe was still rather intimidating, so maybe she wasn't right either.

"It's okay," Eshe said. "We are here to help. If you want, Kontar can even be your friend. I think you two would get along together. But if you want to be friends, we will have to escape this dungeon." Eshe was trying to use her most calming voice possible. It seemed to be taking effect. "Would you do it for the happy bunnycorn?" Eshe then pointed at Tiberius who gave his friendliest smile in order to help calm the elf girl down.

The girl whimpered, not sure what to think of the talking hippo. She definitely preferred the hippo to the manticore for sure. She glanced at the Hippo as she spoke. She perked up lightly when Eshe mentioned escaping. "O-Okay."The girl said weakly.

"Are you really strong?" the tawaret child asked.

"Trust me, my magic is very strong," Eshe said. "No, if we..."

Eshe saw the other kids running back toward the group. As it turned out, there were rats coming. It was obvious they wouldn't escape that easily.

The Elf furl whimpered when she saw the rats coming. She quickly got behind Eshe. Pez snarled when he noticed the rats coming.

"Uhh, since I don't have my powers, can I... just sit out for now till I find a weapon to use?" Tiberius asked.

"You may," Eshe said. Eventually, Eshe summoned a pair of mummies as an aid to fight against the invading rats. If they wanted the children, they'd have to go through Eshe and her minions, as well as Pez and his stinger. "Someone should take the back just in case," Eshe said to Pez.

Pez nodded. He turned heading to the back of the group, ready for any more rats.

Suddenly the rats swarmed in. Eshe kept trying to summon mummies and undead around the group while Kontar tried to fend the rats off with some magical attacks.
