Damnit. Of course Barnes and Noble doesn't have the NOOKbook version. Only the Dreamers series, lol. I'll find it somewhere and give it a good read over. Always looking for new books and authors, thanks for the suggestion. :D
The Belgariad/Mallorean are his best-known ones, but I like Sparhawk better as a main character. He's older - as in old enough to be feeling his age in the mornings - and doesn't whine as much as Garion. Most of Eddings's characters are the type of people you might bump into on the street, which makes them much easier to empathize with to me.
One of my characters is a grumpy, senior, alcoholic unicorn; his wife left him for a man half his age, said man being his boss. He's now bitter and hates everything, especially as he's a solid fifty, and not really able to scootch back into the dating world after thirty years of marriage.

One of my other characters is a plain, average, exceedingly dull chartered accountant who I thought would get more RP being an accountant surrounded by merchants. But no...
I'd forgotten about Cecil!

He is so very creepy. He is held togeather by dark magic and black sludge. His body is slowly decaying and one day he will be a creepy zombie, though his mind will be intact he will be incapible of comunicating with people. For now though, he's just skin and bones.

As far as looks go, Galek Dor and Goreh are probably not the most attractive characters to look at, unless you like lumpy headed aliens.

Lord Darth Angeles' appearance goes down hill as he gets older too. Old and scary looking, though not quite as bad as Palpatine.

Oh baby, lumpy alien heads. You know what I like. ;)

I'll set you up on a date with Galek Dor, he likes human women ;)
Hmm...I think my most deformed character is actually Kelda. I don't go with the 'downright ugly' characters for myself. Idk why, I've never really thought about it before. xD

Capell is undead and has a hole in his forehead. Does that count too? 8D

I'd have to say Chrestienne/Romain/Strav. Or, more accuratly, the creature they were all possessed with. A 7ft tall shadow-made chaos monster that lives by takiong a host, ripping their minds to shreds, assimilating their memories then feeding off another's life force <,<
I have a character, and I originally intended her to be rather plain-looking. I mean, I made it a slight problem in her life that she was constantly told that her face and build and manner was unnatractive, and I made it so that people who based their opinions on looks looked down on her.

However, this was changed by my roleplay buddies... it was funny. A lot of my roleplay buddies' characters immidiately decided she was beautiful - and so it seems she ended up. I hold my own that she is still bulky and rough-looking and cuts a terrible figure in pretty much anything besides armour.

So now, she is apparently beautiful. Dunno quite how that happened.
had to be done.

I get the phrase... But the drawing itself doesn't mean anything to me. <.< >.>

I'm confused. D:

That is actually quite hilarious. Reminds me of the people whose characters free enslaved characters for no reason whatsoever, first thing in a roleplay. "Oh you're a slave? Not really. LOOK, YOU'RE FREE!"

I suppose there is the excuse of seeing inner beauty. I have a friend whose physical attributes aren't what most would call... eh... appealing. But she's incredibly nice, kind hearted, goes far to reach out to friends and never backs down from supporting them, and for that she is often more beautiful than a pretty blond princess on high heels with a cute button nose and perfect makeup etc. etc. who only cares for herself.

Corny, but troo!
Don't sweat it, it's just yet another variant of a dumb meme that stopped being funny several years ago. I'm always the very last one to find out about these things.
oh lordy I have had so many lol. From goblins to hags. I don't really have any added to my character list yet though. However as it stands I have a character named Marsh who is a dart frog mutant. She posses toadish skin, is very small and thing with bulging red eyes and is completely hairless. I adore her.
I also have Ulria who suffers major scaring down her left side, and is missing her left eye and left breast.
And Dan is rather ugly in my opinion, the emaciated science fair project that he is.
In the past I have had more such as swamp hags, and of course my dear goblins.
