"No. I am the only one. These things seem to be colonizing the ship. Like this whole planet. Scans reveal long dead vegetation. As if they grew all over the planet." Baru sat down wide eyed and with no emotion in his voice. He ran his hand along his mask and after removing his hand it shattered. A large piece of it broke out and shattered. It must of happened when he was attacked by the combat form.

"These reapers still pail in comparison to the forerunners. Why the reapers are mighty they lack any means of effectively countering some threats. But enough of that. I shall go see this Doctor Brazz Prut. What species is the doctor?" Flare asks keeping his true emotions and goals well hidden.

"Well, that's a good sign."Threskgar said. "*Hhhhhk* are there any*Hhhhhhk* spare suits, Ranok-Clan?"Kaknar asked, walking up to the Quarian.

"Well, I don't know about that, but that is a debate for another day. I'll go speak with the pilot. I am unsure of when we will get to the Citadel, but it shouldn't be long."Riisart said, heading out.

"We did. In some closest a few meters down the hall. But they have been converted and torn by this stuff." He says feeling the flood bio mass. "Wait. There were atleast five more infected?" He says looking down the hall to see seven combat forms charging two in the front and the rest in the back.

"Very well. I shall wait for our arrival and study this data in the meantime." Flare said as he began humming and sitting their looking through the data several terabytes at a time.

"More I assume."Garrus said, readying his gun. The rest of hte troopers did as well. Pllo grabbed Baru and pulled him back, away from the entrance to give the other soldiers a more clear shot.

The front two combat forms leaped at them and while being shot kept moving absorbing a large amount of ammo. This allowed the ones from behind to strike and slash at those out front tearing suits and drawing blood of some. With a final push the three behind leaped one tackled Garrus and the other two a Krogan. The one attacking Garrus used the infection form to fight. The tentacles of the infection form began to strangle the Turian while the main body hit him with the normally infected arm and the clawed arm rose to strike.

Garrus gagged. He pulled the energy sword he had been granted off his hip and activated it, slicing through the infection form at the waist and pushing it off. The krogan that had been tackled fought back viciously, stabbing one in the infection form with its omni blade and throwing the other off, with it being shot to death by the rest of the squad. Pllo kept the other two at bay, blasting them with biotics, as well as having a pair of seeker swarms attack them.

One of the combat forms Pllo hit was hit by biotics. Being knocked back it stood up and saw Baru. Leaping at him the Quarian managed to dodge as the combat form was blown to pieces. Splattering all over the main window it was completely destroyed. Baru fell back and his hand went onto one of the large bulbous sacs. The impact caused it to burst and release three infection forms. Baru was knocked back as the infection form wrapped around his neck. The other two went for Garrus.

Garrus shot at the two infection forms with his m-8. Kaknar waddled over to Baru, grabbing onto the infection form and pulling it off, tossing it onto the ground before it was squashed by Threskgar. "That all of them?"Threskgar asked.

"I don't know?" He says looking around. His torn suit was starting to prove problematic. Due to the Quarians weak immune system the contaminated atmosphere was causing him to cough and gag. "We need to get off this world." He says his face panicked and eyes watering. On a near by monitor the interior of the lower catacombs could be seen as rough scanning feed. Their was also a beacon. This one was from the ships captain. It beeped showing his location as somewhere in the caves. Being a life line it suggested he was alive.

Garrus nodded. "Alright, uh.... We can't leave on this ship I know that much. If that large group is still outside then it would probably be a bad idea to call for extraction now..."Garrus said. "And you're sure there wouldn't possibly be any more non damaged suits?"Garrus asked.

"I don't know. I have a horrible feeling. This whole planet. What is this parasite?" He looks over at the monitor. "Wait. Is that?" He walks over to it. "The captain?" He says sounding a bit surprised. "The captains. Alive?"

"Apparantly."Threskgar said. "We'll have to go for him later. If the ships still functioning..."Garrus said, formulating a plan. Soon the over comm came on. "Who are you?" a Quarian voice asked, by the sound of the voice, it was a female.

"Huh? Is that someone else?" Baru seemed shocked but pleased. "Who is it where are they?" He seemed to be in a frenzy to try and get any survivors. The captains beacon said he was approximately three kilometers down and one kilometer north. The flood outside the ship began to form around it as the carrier forms began to waddles around from the warm maintenance rooms. Each one when released would give ten infection forms.

"Answer my question."The voice repeated. "I'm Garrus Vakarian. We got this ship's beacon."Garrus replied. "Are any of you contaminated?"The voice asked. "Last time I checked none of us were rotting, nor did any of us have any weird creatures sitting in our chests."Garrus said. There was a moment of silence, with the quarians voice occasionally being heard. "Alright. I am Alis'Korahm nar Olympium."The Quarian said. "I assume most of you are military?"Alis said. "*Hhhhhhk* I am not."Kaknar said. "*Hhhhhk* perhaps we may be able to get you off this world?"Kaknar asked. "Alright. I also have a spare suit in the room with me he might be able to use."Alis said. "Okay, so where are you?"Garrus asked. "I'm at the far end of the crew caurters. I locked myself in a sterilized supply room. Please hurry, I'm not sure how much longer until they figure out where I am."Alis said.

The communication was then shut off rather abruptly. "We should hurry." Baru says coughing. "That Quarian could give us some more answers on these things." The Turian soldier who yelled at Garrus previously said with a hopeful tone." Looking at some security cameras Baru had an idea. "We should keep someone here to monitor the cameras. We could keep track of their progress and any more of them by these." He taps a screen and two dozen security cameras appear on four computers. "Just touch them to enlarge the image."

"Well we can't just leave someone here. We'd need to make sure those things can't get in here."Garrus said. "Is there *Hhhhhk* not a security lock?"Kaknar asked.

"Not without locking down the whole ship. This ship was second hand like most of our ships. We were unable to install a security lock down without effecting the doors and crossing the maintenance locks." Baru seemed to be becoming more Raspy as he spoke. "The kid is starting to have problems we should hurry." The Turian soldier says looking around showing a bit of are for him. "My lungs are not acting right. I am not sure how I will go long like this."

Garrus sighed. "Alright. Three of yo ustay here and cover each other. Close the door behind us, they might think the rooms empty, or might not know how to open it."Garrus said. "The rest of you, let's move."Garrus said, heading out of the room.

"I will stay with Pllo and the Volus. It would be best to help the Collector with his damaged wing and the Volus to keep him safe." The Turian soldier says as Garrus leaves. Getting a nod From Garrus he closes the door and goes to the cameras. The carrier forms move out of the maintenance room and waddle slowly. They were able to narrowly avoid being seen by the cameras as the Turian viewed the footage.

Pllo's wing buzzed as he shook his head. "*Hhhhhk* I think Pllo wanted to go with them."Kaknar said. The group headed down the cooridors, and after a while came across the supply room that Alis said she was in. "You still in there?"Garrus asked knocking on the door. "Finally."Alis said over a speaker on the door. Through a view port a deactivated Geth platform could be seen, alongside the other suits. "I'm going to require each of you to go through decontamination before I let you in."Alis said.
