Two soldiers walked into the room with the Turians. "Garrus I have news from the council. They request to contact you immediately on your proposition about arming the crucible." The soldiers were both human.

"Alright, put them on."Garrus said. Soon Plo and Kaknar entered the room, mostly because Plo wanted to hear the Council's decision.

The hologram was activated and the human councilor was there. "Garrus Valkerian your proposal for activating the crucible is a rather large and concerning ask." He said getting to the point glaring at the Turian.

"Yes, I know. But we still don't understand why the Reapers up and stopped their invasion. I doubt it, but it's entirely possible the Reapers decided to hold off the invasion for a while. Again, I seriously don't think they would, after all if they survived the Crucible firing than there's almost nothing we have that could stop them, short of being thrown into a sun or a black hole."Garrus said. "Just a Precaution I guess."Palpus chimed in. Plo's wings buzzed to life, as he made multiple gestures, clearly angry. "*Hhhhhkkkk* I am not translating all of that. *Hhhhhhkkk* Especially to a councilor."Kaknar wheezed. "Plo feels that *Hhhhhhhhk* the Crucible should always be prepared *Hhhhhhkkkkk* When the Reapers introduce a new technology."Kaknar said. "Personally I can *Hhhhhkkkkk* understand his concern."Kaknar added.

"But this could be disastrous. Especially if Harbinger learns. He may see it as an aggressive act and you yourselves may cause the reapers to turn hostile. I have always not trusted the reapers for that reason." The human councilor says. "We should not be thinking the reapers will betray us. They where reprogrammed after the crucible fired correct?" The Salerian councilor said.

"They stopped their invasion after the Crucible fired, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were reprogrammed. If you're wanting an answer for that you'll want to contact GASA."Garrus said. Plo's wings buzzed violently as it continued making clearly angry gestures. "*Hhhhkkkk*Plo believes the Crucible should be activated anyways. *Hhhhkkkkk* He doesn't want what happened to his people to happen again. *Hhhhkkkkk* He believes not activating the Crucible would more than likely be a *Hhhhhkkkkk* death sentence to us, considering in the known history of *Hhhhkkkkkk* the Reapers they never stopped an *Hhhhhhhkkkkk* invasion."Kaknar translated.

"Again, activatign the Crucible may cause the Reapers to turn on us. Need I remind you that the Reapers are the ones keeping that Parasite that nearly killed you and the crews of not only the Crimson Varren, but also the Archangel, restricted to the worlds they are currently on?"The Asari Councilor said. "The Reapers may also be our only hope of stopping this parasite from spreading. We don't have the technology to simply wipe this parasite from existence. The Reapers most likely do have this technology."The Turian councilor said.

"These truths are for us both. They will use it on each of us." The gravemind spoke to the two Turians again in their minds. "We can not risk an act of war with this parasite being on the verge of an outbreak." The human councilor said.

Plo's wings buzzed some more before the collector stormed out of the room. "*Hhhhhk* I apologize for Plo's behavior.*Hhhhkkkkk* I'm sure you can understand why he has this distrust and disliking of the Reapers."Kaknar said, before excusing himself. "I still say we should get the crucible ready."Palpus said. "Even if the Reapers do take it as a threat and decide to retaliate, we've fired it once and it got them to stop their attacks."Palpus said. "We just fire it again and problem solved."He added.

"You do recall what it cost us last time. The reapers have a connection to it. Once we start it up they will swarm. We lost millions last time. Not to mention the commander." The councilor looked a bit upset with the memory. "You should know more then any of us Garrus."

Garrus sighed. He didn't like bringing Shepard up, nor did anybody else that was on the Normandy's crew. Hell, not even Jack brought the Commander up when Garrus would contact her. "Don't turn it on, but get it out of where ever you have it stored. If anything happens that suggests the reapers are planning something that would destroy us, ready it and fire it."Garrus said. "For all we know that weapon of theirs might need the crucible. So it wouldn't hurt to just have it out of where ever you put it."Garrus added.

"Very well. I will trust your judgement on this Garrus. I hope you are wrong about any reaper plot." The human councilor says. "We will have it prepared." The Asari councilor said. They then gave their farewells and ended the call.

"You really think that the plant thing is right?"Palpus asked. "I was considering the possibility of the Reapers launching an attack with this weapon the instant I heard about it. I doubt they are, considering it makes no sense."Garrus said.

"Well I don't trust either of them. But I would like to know more about this reaper weapon." Palpus says concerned and thoughtful.

"So do I. Let's try and contact Harbinger."Garrus said. He put in Harbingers contact cde and waited for the reaper t orespond. Soon the orange hologram of Harbinger appeared. "Greetings."The reaper announced. "Harbinger, Palpus and I were wondering about your weapon. Think you could give us some info on it?"Garrus asked. "What is it that you wish to learn?"Harbinger asked. "Firstly We want to know how it works."Garrus said. "The weapon targets specific Genetic codes. I then fires a blast to obliterate any instances of the targeted code in the blast radius of the weapon."Harbinger explained.

"It will require our essence. We consume and adapt. Anything we consume will be added to new spores to allow better consumption of hosts." The gravemind gave a large secret of the flood. The fact that once something is consumed. They share a small portion of that DNA in future spores. Basically anything the flood have consumed. In this case Turian, Human, Salarian and Quarian. Meaning it would risk targeting atleast one of those species in the activation.

"Uh-huh. We kind of saw that when those little bugs hopped into our friends' bodies and mutated them"Garrus said.

"What are you referring?" Harbinger asks to Garrus's comment. Being unable to hear the gravemind he found what they said interesting.

Garrus shook his head. "Palpus and I came across a creature. Apparantly it controls the parasite and keeps it organized."Garrus said. "Kind of like the Rachni queen."Palpus added. "We think it can speak telepathically."Garrus said. "Interesting. What planet is this creature located on?"Harbinger asked. "We encounted it on... I think it was named Yros? It was only recently found by a quarian science team."Garrus said. "Understood. I will investigatet his creature further."Harbinger said.

"He shall be distracted. Search for the weapon and try to prevent it working. You know I speak the truth." The gravemind spoke to them. "But do not tell him of me speaking with you. If he learns entirely he may consider you infected or a safety concern."
