"Well my body is made to travel through space and my shields are made to endure large energy related damage. So I could the relay myself but I am not sure on the different energies encounted in travel so I won't risk it. A shuttle would be easy to get me through though."

"Shuttles aren't made for constant space travel."Riisart responded. "Again, I'll check with the pilot and my superiors and see what they think."Riisart said heading off.

"I can't be expected to remember what everyone refers to everything as." Flare mumbles as he floats towards the bridge.

Riisart went to the closest superior he could think of, Alice. "So the Ai asked to go to the Citadel?"Alice asked. "Correct. I told him I would get confirmation from you and the pilot first."Riisart said. "No way. I don't trust it. Only station I'd take it to is Omega.We've got Codexes it can read from here, as well as a connection to the relay. It's not going to the citadel."Alice said.

Flare was picking up on these communications with his scanners. She will suffer the most. He thought as Alice spoke. He was just out of the room where they where communicating. He waited their able to listen in undetected.

"Was that all you called for?"Alice asked. Riisart nodded. "Yes, that is all."Riisart replied, cutting communications. Riisart turned to leave the room.

"Well. What was the answer for my request?" Flare asks acting oblivious.

"Unfortunately, Alice said no."Riisart said.

"Well that is a problem. It is a shame no one trusts me. Despite my previous actions only being protocol."

"Regardless I cannot go against her orders."Riisart said.

"Very well. When should the reapers be arriving? I would hate to not be on time for my part of the plan."

"They should be arriving soon."Riisart said.

The mass relay began to kick into life as it brought through the reapers. The ruins of the infected frigates still however had some living flood and biomass. The flood throughout the Salvation that had escaped began to take some combat forms and convert them into a proto gravemind.

"Alright, you can deactivate the relay once we've left this space."Riisart said.

"As you instruct." Flare hacks into the network and turns the relays into standby mode. Syncing them to his systems without anyone knowing he know had full control.

"Well, I'll alert the pilot that you're about to deactivate the Mass Relay. We don't have the supplies to hide out here for an extended period of time."Riisart said, heading off.

Back on the Archangel the husks continued their hunt, eventually a few came across the hibernating flood. They let out wails and charged at the cocoons the flood were in.

Most of the flood cocoons where destroyed. But they succeeded in something. The had produced some spores into the vent system. Enough to not be detected but with time grow into larger infestations.

As the message is given Flare shuts down the relay after the Polyanthus and the Cromwell went through it. "The relay is disabled. This system is now disabled from the grid. No relays will connect to this system till it is reopened."

"Good, now we shouldn't have to worry too much."Riisart said.

"Okay, so what are we going to do now?"Alice asked Banshee. "Head back to the base I guess, we haven't gotten any other orders"Banshee replied.

"It would be most efficient if we went back to the citadel to report. Wouldn't you agree." Flare says looking at Riisart.

"I agree, but again, Alice doesn't want you on the Citadel. Plus we can contact my higher up superiors through the ship."Riisart said.
