So, some of you know that one of my hobbies is painting tabletop miniatures.

I've been watching the Hero Forge kickstarter for some time, and it finally launched today. I seriously cannot stop making minis.

I'm chafing at the tiny selection for clothing and hair and the like. But since it's their first day, I imagine they'll have more every month.

Those both look AMAZING. I'd also like to point out that you can click "Fantasy" and choose between genres... I totally didn't realize that at first!

Heimdall, I like that different genres are covered and you can mix and match between them. Should lead to lots of interesting characters

Oh lordy! I made Draconus, who is standard Paladin in Armor to the max. Maybe I'll do an archery-based one for him too so you get a little less 'covered in armor'.

Ohhh dear. If they had options to add animal-like features to some of these, my bank account might be in trouble.

As it is, I might find myself having to pick up a couple of figures of Rhaetia. Some of the poses and fireball configurations are fabulous.

I bet there will be more options soon! I'd be shocked if animal features weren't in the works.

I love how completely different everyone's figures look!

I just bought one for Redbeard's D&D character, and our housemate is getting one for everyone in our Mistborn campaign, which I'm so excited about! *_* I'll be sure to take pictures when they arrive!

Most of my other characters either have nonsensical animal/fantasy features that aren't on here or I didn't feel like I could get the likeness close enough, so that's as far as I got!
