It would have been a mistake to catch the man's fist. Mainly because he had all that energy stored up in it. The concussive energy from Ryu's own attack countered the power of Thornes fist. It damaged his hand but Throne's own hand would be riddled as well. This however would send both fighters apart from one another thus negating Ryu's earlier attempt to kick. Ryu didn't waste time talking though. There would be a brief flicker in his person and the next moment Ryu would be up in Sam's personal space. He attempted to throw a quick succession of punches with his left hand., the power of each would increase with each one. They were all aimed at the man's sternum and the pressure points of his chest. If they landed it would This was of course if the man hadn't caught Ryu before and began to block or dodge.

To describe the power of Sam Thorne would be like describing a punching bag mixed with a locomotive. The 'Fist of Thorne' ability could break a block of wood or weak brick, but when physical attack were taken in over time he obtained the kenetic strength the break a man's hand with ease or even shatter a stone floor. It was a combination of energy transfer, and the will to focus it into his Attack. He had caught Ryu's fist and absorbed the energy of it taking very minimal damage to his hand. Then focusing the damage back using his will power shattered the bones in the samurai man's hand. But as for this moment Sam was attempting to dodge and weave through the rain of fists, he had been hit a few times but this kind of power was still just physical damage. This meant it wasn't very effective on the Hollywood hero, but Sven's blades, Sesco's shadow power, or Kenji's wind would be super effective since he couldn't absorb the kenetic force and focus it with his will. After taking a few hits from Ryu the cocky son of a gun stopped, sweeping his left arm he pushed any attacking fists away and through his right arm in towards Ryu's face, would it hit? Sam was definitely not as fast as this guy, but unless Ryu had a special trick Sam was looking at a one sided match up.

There was a flicker as Sam's fist phased through Ryu's head. The next second a blade of shadow energy was headed for Sam's spine. Ryu was now suddenly behind his opponent? What had happened. With Sam attacking the after-image it was hard to imagine that his Wraith Blade would miss. If it did hit it would pierce not through flesh but Sam's essence. He'd feel like he had been drained. The energy around Ryu's hand would disappear after the attack. Three other Ryus would appear next to him after the attack. A vortex of black energy was swirling around the feet of the four Ryus.

Side stepping quickly Sam still was not as fast as Ryu, the blade of shadows cut into his side before Sam fell off sideway, rolling away from the attack. It was a nice hit, and he had this feeling of emptiness all of a sudden as if he was now all warn out. "Fist of Thornes!" Sam hit the ground as the two doubles appeared. The ground did not shake, the Attack was weak. He needed a physical attack fast or he'd run out of attack force, "does that count as a weapon?" Sam asked one of the red masked judges, but the man shook his head. Quickly reassessing the battle Sam knew what he had to do, falling into a defensive stance he prepared for the next attack that was now rushing at him. As they approached Sam could feel his enery that had been stollen, a little in the energy being focused around the man on the left, a little on the man in the center but the most from the man on the right, "come and get me punk," Sam said doing his best to ignoring the gash on his right side.

The four Ryu's charged him. Each moving to make a different attack. The center one went for an axe kick, the one to the left of him went for a side kick. The one right to the center went for a punch, and the last one held out it's hand. The swirling vortex lashed out. Dark spines of shadow shot out and went to try and impale Sam's limbs. When the clones' attacks got to Sam they would vanish, evne if they hit they wouldn't do anything. Merely just images of Ryu, not physical forms. The remaining Ryu stood back, his left hand's fingers spread apart There were five black spires of black headed for Sam. If they did in face impale Sam Ryu would hold his hand upwards which would lift the man. "Do you yield?" He questioned.

The hit on Sam was actually a complete trap, it was a Clone of Thornes. A popular trick he used in his movies. The force was like a ghost with pure pressure balled up inside, unlike Ryu's clones, his couldn't move. And he could only produce one, but if hit in anyway the force would cause a heart attack sensation in the opponent. As soon as Ryu uttered those sickening words blood sprayed from Ryu's mouth! The Hollywood jock watched the ninja fall, "yield to you?" Sam stepped out of the ring looking at the red mask warriors nodd. "Well that was an awful choice in opponent," he looked at the wound at his side. He would need a ton of stitched after that one. "Well enjoy the chest pains ninja. We'll have to do this again someti..." Sam coughed and he put his hand upto his mouth, there was blood, "Ryu you son of a," he saw the guys helping up the ninja man. The guy was either dazed or unconcious, "good fight senior hair gel." And with that Sam retired to his room, and the contest continued.

Kenji just watched as Ryu coughed up one last stream of blood and then went limp. The guards noticed this and checked his vitals, unceremoniously throwing his body to the side once they realized that he did not survive. Kenji lowered his head solemnly, he should've spoken to him when he had the chance, he might've just lost the only possible ally in this batch of warriors turned murderers. He glared over at the doorway that Sam Thorne had left through, he figured the man to be cocky and self centered, but he would've never thought he would actually kill his opponent and then treat it like it was nothing. Whether or not the movie star intended for the move to be fatal or not, the fact remained that Ryu Genhasyri was dead.

He was disappointed in the Hollywood Hero, but that was all, there was no anger or hatred, after all Ryu had made many attempts at fatal strikes throughout the battle, once an assassin always an assassin, but none of that mattered now that he was dead. He looked over to the body and gave it a slight bow, the tournament went on.

The competition continued and many more died, there were only ten fighters left and one match to go. Kenji had to fight the maskless fighter, would the fighter prove too brutal for the ninja, or would the ninja wipe the floor with the blood of the wrestler. As Sam returned he watched the two fighters step into the ring and the last two fighters be carried out, no winner... Both Frank Beaumont and Greyson Goyle fought into not one, but two lay dead, both believing that the other was a blood thirsty killer. "Where is Ryu?" Sam asked Sven, and the swords skin pointed to the pile of the dead. "No, I was so careful... I never meant to... his attacks, he was aiming for my spine... he meant to paralyze me and all I did was, all I..." The movie star had never killed anyone before and fell silent, turning to witness the last battle of round two.

Loki closed her eyes and breath a quiet sprital message to the dead ryu. While the last round was playing out.
