Icias stopped walking abruptly causing the pig to bump into him. A large house sat in the middle of a small town, all the windows in the shops and taverns were smashed. But it looked as though s large expensive party was being held in the giant house... Yet it was the middle of the day time. The noise from in side the loud was so loud as if the entire town was in the mansion. "Balec," Icias read, "the towns name is Balec... Should we go in the house? We still need more supplies before we head into the next town..."
Xeres took the water, having no interest in the blanket, and being unable to digest bread, he never ate it. "I would assume so."Xeres said. "Though it is entirely possible some bandit group or gang broke in and is using the house as shelter."Xeres said.
"I don't know if we should go or not." said pig neutrally. He also didn't know what type of supplies they would get if they went to a mansion hosting a large expensive party. Looks like Icias and Xeres are on there own in this decision. When Xeres mentioned bandits pig started to wonder which was more important, getting supplies or being safe. It's what mainly made pig undecided in this decision.
"Hmm, wonder who could be in this mansion." pig thought to himself. The mystery of the mansion and what could ne inside slightly excited pig. Were there good things inside like plenty of expensive supplies or danger like a gang of bandits.
((I hope there are bandits or a gang like Xeres suggested. It would make this rp more interesting. ))

It was odd, almost like the creatures in the house were making merry, "HEY!!" Icias yelled, "That's odd..." The people in the house didn't seem to hear them, even notice their presence in anyway. The creatures inside were extremely skinny as if they hadn't eaten in days, "I don't think we should go in..." But as Icias said that, a sweet nectar filled the air, was it honey? Or something sweeter he had not ever tried before perhaps?? The door, as if acting on it's own, opened slowly revealing the merriment within. No bandits filled these halls but the animalistic towns folk celebrating in what seemed to be a trans. Those inside, completely unaware of the outer world.
A figure inside the house became visible from within, perhaps the only one inside who could see out of the house. It was him, the high bred of fear and pain, the Demon. His boney dark finger taunted the three to enter the mansion, as he did the wood of the windows began to mold and the metal on the home began to rust. "Come little piggy, enjoy the party!" The Demon chuckled, eyeing the lizard, "It's just a few moments of fun to celebrate!!!" The animals inside cheered as zombies would, a mixture of fake cheers and moans. Painted on smiles covered up the tears of the crowds screaming eyes. "Your almost at the mountains!" The Demon tilted his head back and laughed wildly, as a hundred different voices left his mouth, "didn't you hear what i said? COME IN!"
Xeres looked into the building. He certainly didn't plan to go inside. He glanced over at Icias and the Pig, sure that neither would be going inside.
The voices calling out for them to go in made him feel welcome, but when he saw Xere's reaction he remembered what he said said about bandits. He too stopped walking and casually asked. "Have any of you ever heard of the fantasy Odysseus's Journey." he stopped for a second and without waiting for answer said. "And you know about how on his journey he wound up on a place called Land of the Lotus Eaters. Well this place has the same kind of has the same feel as that place. I feel that if we go in it will be so good we won't want to leave!" he said ending with a smile for some strange reason.
Pig looked at both Icias and Xeres. If none of them went inside we wouldn't go in either. He didn't want to be the oddball of the group. Also like earlier he was still undecided on whether they should go on or jot and at this point he was going to do 'majority rules' and follow where most are going. It may sound like sheep behavior but better safe then sorry, right? Pig continued to look from Icias to Xeres; his eyes darting back and forth, "So, should we go in or not?" he finally asked.

Icias was confused by the big smile on pig's face, "why are you smiling pig?" He looked over at Xeres and the lizard had the same dumb grin upon his face as if they were both in on a joke or something. "Guys stop, it's getting kinda creepeeee..." Icias stopped. It was getting harder to speak through this, this, well, grin... The mansion was moving closer and closer as if the town was pushing them forward and forward and a rush of good energy passed through him. The town looked cartoonish, as if each building was dancing swaying side to side. Each person of their group was taking steps towards the mansion. "Ig's ight, iss ee go in dere," the bear struggled to speak out of his goofy demonic grin. "Ell ee draaadp orear!" Only a few steps and they'd be right in the clutches of the demon's home, "aaee i-e-az???"
Xeres was the first one pulled into the house. "According to our agreement the zebra should be dead by now," the Demon frowned and touched the Lizards head and the creature turned to dust in the light of the setting sun. "Who is next to die pig? Will it be you??" A flash of fire threw the bear and the pig backwards and the house vanished in a bright blaze of heat. The towns folk were scattered around the town, broken buildings and damaged shops littered the streets but in the end the demon whispered, "it was the innocence of Pig that saved these people, but I'll be back for them when you dead and gone piggy piggy pig..." And with that the dark presence was gone and the town began to rejoice that the small swine had saved them.
Pig was confused. Why was the town rejoicing that they had saved them, he didn't really do anything. All he did was into a house. "Do you have any idea what just happened?" pig asked Icias with a dazed expression. To what happened was they were walking up to and entering a large madion with a huge party inside when all of sudden there was a bunch of fire and they flew back into some rndom town, this whole episode was mind boggling. He wondered if the bear was just as confused as he was or understood what was going on.
Icias looked around, Xeres was gone, "I think the lizard had something to do with it. I believe he made a deal with the Demon and now he payed the price..." Icias had no idea why the Demon hadn't just finished them off then but he figured it was because the pig still had time to complete its deal before he'd be killed. "We should stay the night in this town and help them rebuild a bit while night decends on the mountains. Come first light of dawn well finish your search for the Demon worshiperrs," the bear looked around, "sound good?"
"Sounds good." pig said agreeing with Icias. The town was a little wrecked and did look like it coud use some fixing. While pig was helping fix the town he continued to think about the demon worshippers. What animal were most of them? What did their homes look like? Would they welcome outsiders or try to harm them? Were there non-demon worshippers living in The Black Rock mountains? Or were the demon worshippers really strict and allowed those who worshipped demons to live in their mountain. Last but least what did the Demon think about his worshippers did he like them or think they were silly? So many questions sbout the demon worshippers and their home were out there. Pig assumed not many animals knew about the demon worshippers and if they did avoided them.
The two helped the town folk for a few hours until long after the sun disappeared and the town sheltered the two travelers for the night. With one day left the two awoke early and headed out towards the mountains. "How are you feeling this morning pig?" Icias asked, he followed up his question almost immediately with a promising lead he had received. "The towns folk said that they had never heard of a cult of Demon worshipers, but there is a creature who lives in a small hut at the base of the mountain." He looked at the map that they had been given. "We'll probably reach her just before lunch time," he looked back to pig, "they say she keeps to herself and is a bit creepy, if anyone knows of a Demon cult it would be her!"
"Perfect, then we will go visit her." replied pig. Since she lives on the Black Rock mountain she should know all about what is going on on the entire mountain; unless the demon worshippers hide from her too. "Let's go." he said before continung the journey and quickly trotting forward. Hopefully the rest if the journey would be calmer and less creatures will get hurt. Pig wondered what the demon was up to now, what will their next move be? Would the demon attempt to stop them from getting to their destination or worse.
The Demon, now in possession of Xeres soul began to forge a creature out of tree bark and lizard scales. A large serpent like creature was finally crafted from these simple forest items and a bit of dark Magic. "Rise my pet!" The Demon called to the new creature, born of evil. "Your name is hear by Serex, serpent of the wood!" The snake hissed angrily, revenge on those two creatures were the only thing that filled its black heart of branches and sin. "Now go, devour the bear snd the pig so that the little swine never gets his wish!" The Demon laughed as the giant serpent escaped into the wood. On a quest of it's own to murder the two heros who ventured into the heart of these mountains!
"By the looks of the map we are almost there," Icias smiled, "and we'll get there well before noon, it's a good thing we left as early as we did." The two had been making great time. They had only stopped once when a potion selling badger had stopped them but they were given no trouble and continued on there way. Icias looked foward out at the pig who was a good ten steps in front of him, "do you see the hut near the base of the mountain trail?" He asked hoping to catch his breathe while they talked to this 'Bat woman'.
"Yes, over there." the bat replied while pointing at the hut. The Dream Master being inroverted didn't feel the need to ask why they wanted to go there, it seemed like it wasn't any of her business and she also didn't care. After this short interaction with the outside world she was planning on going back inside and further analyzing a very intriguing dream she had last week; The Dream Master rarely left her home and was almost always inside her home with her windows shut researching some more on dreams or analizing a dream. Though she is introverted she can be welcome if the outsiders has dreams on their mind. Dreams are one of her main and maybe only interest.

Icias turned quickly and dropped down on all fours, "are you a bandit?" He had had the same reaction with the potion salesman. This action appeared to scare him more then it did this traveler. "Who are you?" The bear asked in a bit of a hostile tone. He glanced behind him to see if pig had kept walking, he didn't see the little guy and assumed pig did keep walking. "I don't have time for this, who are you and where are you." So caught up in the moment he still wasn't able to pinpoint the voices location and in not being able to do so, he didn't know she was the bat woman.
The Dream Master flew in front of Icias so he could see her, "Don't worry I'm not a bandit." she said. Being a creature who could fly The Dream Master never really feared the large land animals, if they tried to attack her or eat her she could easily just fly away. This time since the bear seemed more curious then hungry she chose to show herself, but if the bear still tried to attack despite knowing who she was and where she was she was going to fly away.
Icias was hungry, very hungry, so he reached into his bag and pulled out a loaf of honey bread the creatures of that old sweet town had given him and pig to share. He broke off a chunk and offered it to the bat, "ah so you must be the wise bat woman everyone tells us about." The bear took a bite of bread as he stood up and continued to walk forward. "Sorry to continue but my friend has walked a bit to far ahead and we must fetch him before he gets himself into trouble." Icias was unaware of the giant snake slithering through the thick forest, heading straight for pig.
