"Fine, but be quick about it," she said. She waited by his door.

John had just been through basic training and had just begun to recognize his powers. As he knew so far, he could change his physical abilities with some concentration and he could control the element of metal. He went to his commanding officer, "Sir, am I going to meet the rest of the squad now, I want to introduce myself."

His commanding officer, Typhus Meras, replied with, "we just got orders from the big man himself. Goin' to Espoo in New Finland. Some weird shit's goin' down there. Go get geared up and meet at the gunship."

"Yes, sir," he said obediently. He got into his power armor and grabbed a rifle, 2 extra mags, a two handed sword, and a couple of grenades and headed out, helmet in hand.

When he got to the gunship, the man next to him turned his head and looked at him. "Hey, man," he said. "I'm Kav." he stuck out his hand for John to shake.

John shook his hand, "John, a pleasure," he got into the gunship, "so who all is in our squad?" he asked.

"Pleasure as well," he said, climbing into the seat opposite his. "There's you, me, Com Off (that's what we call Commanding Officer Meras here), Jeff, Sylvia, and Mavri

"Pleasure, all of you."

Henry grab evrything that he needed for the trip. And went and meet up with the woman

"Took you long enough," she said with a scoff. "Follow me, and be quick about it." She started running.

Henry ran after her keeping her in sight his eyes never failed him before now. He also had a little bit of cat in him cause of his Grandma on his mum's side. So he is also able to see in the dark. "that might come in handy"He thought as they turned a cornner

A door slid open in front of them that led to a landing deck outside. It was raining hard outside. There were several huge ships on them that people were piling onto. "That one's ours," she said, pointing to one of the gunships.

Henry followed her out to the ship. He always loved the rain, The smell and the way it makes his fur cool.

She sat next to a girl in power armor. The only seat that was available was next to John Mayes

John looked at Henry and smiled, "There's an open seat here friend!"

Henry sat down on the seat. "We might not be coming back"

"That's what we always say, right boys?"

"Hooah!" Cheered John
