As Max growled as he tried to hold the deadlock, he had his breath knocked out of him upon being struck with the shockwave and hit a wall but recovered on his feet. This enemy was tougher then he thought and was going to need to think smarter if he was going to get Jenny. Putting his sword away but holding The Wicked Gunlance in one hand, he pulled out a crystalized grey tinted bullet and put it into the gem of the Wicked Gunlance as it glowed to that color "....You wanna play tough...? I'll show you tough...." he said quietly as he stood up and aimed at SteelKnuckles and fired at him. This bullet had potential to penetrate any kind of tough armor or material and Max knew it could potentially be effective against Steel as he began to fire at him hoping it would work.

SteelKnuckles held his arms up, covering himself as the bullet hit. The Gauntlets let out another shockwave, stopping the bullet. SteelKnuckles lowered his arms chuckling. "You're gonna have to try harder than that Shorty."He said, pulling his fist back for another punch.

Jenny suddenly remembered something. SteelKnuckles's armor had a power source used to power the Gauntlets, which was thankfully on his back. The Power source was in a slightly raised plate and had the standard bright purple glow that most of the other lights on SteelKnuckles's armor had. With her free hand, Jenny pulled out her pistol and aimed. While the power source did have a shielding system, SteelKnuckles hadn't activated it, not expecting Jenny to turn on him, nor for Max to know about the power source. She fired at the plate, with the blast flying directly into the power source destroying it. SteelKnuckles gave out a yelp, staggering forward. "What the?!"He asked in surprise noticing the glow from hsi gauntlets fading out. "YOU ROTTEN LITTLE RAT!"SteelKnuckles screamed.

Max sighed with a growl as he realized nothing was doing him any good and he soon realized, he wasn't going to be able to dodge fast enough in time for the fatal punch. Closing his eyes, he braced himself for the hit but then heard him yelp and looked over and smiled as he saw Jenny help him in perfect timing. Once he saw the power go out, he realized his back was his weakness and so, now that he was open, he quickly fired away at SteelKnuckles in multiple parts like the body, legs and arms and waited to see them do a effective hit hopefully.

The attacks hit, knocking SteelKnuckles around with each shot. "I don't need these stupid enhancements to beat the crap outta you, Shorty."SteelKnuckles said, launching a fist at Max.

Max chuckled quietly and proceeded to fire with his anti-armor bullets "We'll see if that's really the case, beefy!" he said as he dodged, but had his legs hit to which it made him trip slightly but he got back up slightly and then used The Wicked Sword once more to attack and see if it would do anything.

As it had before, the sword didn't break the armor, but the shots very clearly had an effect, making the turtle mutant stagger back, as he yelped in pain. SteelKnuckles's claws soon locked around a car, hoisting it off the ground and throwing it at Max.

Max put his sword quickly away and then held The Wicked Gunlance tightly with two paws and fired away since he saw the stagger. But he soon noticed the car next to him coming right at him quickly. Max ran to the side as quick as he could to avoid getting squished under it.

SteelKnuckles was hit by the other blasts, staggering back once m ore. Once he regained his balance he launched forward at Max. Jenny tugged at her hand cuffs, soon digging into one of her pockets and pulling out some kind of tool. She activated it revealing it to be some sort of laser cutter and began to cut through the cuffs.

Max let go of one paw and reacted quickly as he used some of his magic to create a barrier around his body so he could withstand heavy knockbacks and be equally as knockful like SteelKnuckles and even tried to get in a few extra shots at SteelKnuckles before clashing into him.

SteelKnuckles slammed into Max, knocking him back. Thankfully his barrier protected him from SteelKnuckles's weight. Soon Jenny had cut through her cuffs. She quietly got up behind SteelKnuckles and hopped onto his back. She dug out the now destroyed power source out of SteelKnuckles's armor and began fiddling with the wiring inside.

As Max got slammed and knocked back, he hit the wall, but panted as he recovered quickly thanks to the barrier and saw what Jenny was trying to do. So he tried to simply shoot SteelKnuckles carefully but also avoid his attacks while Jenny tried to weaken him.

Thankfully for Jenny, much of SteelKnuckles's bulk kept the shots from hitting Jenny. She continued rewiring the armor. She soon replaced the power source. She hopped off of SteelKnuckles and opened fire on the giant turtle. "You annoying little brats!"SteelKnuckels shouted. SteelKnuckles turned his attention to Jenny and swung a fist at her. Thankfully she was much faster than SteelKnuckles and avoided the punch. "SHOOT HIS POWERSOURCE!"Jenny shouted.

Max continued to fire once Jenny hopped off and upon seeing him turn to throw a punch at Jenny, he fired away at the power source "Didn't they ever tell you to never hit a girl?!" he said as he fired as fast as his trigger finger would let him at the power source.

The shot hit its mark, and the Armor soon short circuited. SteelKnuckles let out a loud wail as he was electrocuted. The armor soon ran out of juice and SteelKnuckles collapsed to the ground, barely conscious. "Let's go. OH! And I'm telling me Dad you tried to hit me!:Jenny said running off, before SteelKnuckles would be able to recover.

Max lowered his weapon as he saw him fall and tuts "He got far too cocky..." he looked over at Jenny and nods "By the way...You alright? Not hurt anywhere or anything? You did pretty good back there also!" he said with a grin as they ran their way back.

"I'm fine."Jenny said, continuing on. She paused when Max told her she good. "Uh... thanks."She said, slightly surprised.

Max smiled as he heard she was oka and nods "Yeah, if not for you, I think I may have lost that fight or would have to have gotten more violent."

"Yeah... especially since SteelKnuckles has a bad temper."Jenny said. It wasn't too long before they arrived at an Apartment complex. "Okay.... uh... I think that girl's apartment is on the.... fourth floor... I think."Jenny said.

Max nods as they ran on towards the complex. Max looked about him and rubbed his muzzle "Okay simple enough. I sure hope that she'll believe us..."

"Me too."Jenny said. She soon noticed a fire escape and began climbing up to the top of it.
