It began to get dark and Saito was packing his things to do a mission in the Capital. Taiyo was gone doing a job on his own far from the their as his sister, Akane was in her room and he walked by her room. "Akane sweetie come here."
Akane would be polishing her daggers when she heard her brother. She got up and ran to him excitedly. "Hello, brother. Is everything okay?" She would be in her night clothes as it was already dark. Her daggers were completely polished by now and they looked great. She could see her reflection out of them.
He walked up to her and placed his hand on her head and smiled holding his swords and bags with him. "Want to go on a mission with me sweetie?"
She would excitedly jump up and down. "Well, duh! Of course I wanna go!" Akane stripped out of the clothes she was in and put on her 'stealth' gear. She grabbed her daggers and other accessories and weapons. "So... What is the mission?"
"The mission is to kill off bandits from a village that are killing, raping, and stealing."Saito held his Imperial Arms attached to the back of his waist as he walked downstairs placing his regular katana on his back. He had his sister beside as he held her hand.
She would giggle as she pulled lose from him. "I'm sixteen. I may be pretty hyper and immature at times, but I'm not a child anymore, brother." She stuck her tongue out at Saito and scaled the banister on the porch so she could get to the roof of the house. From the roof she could get into the trees and use them as cover. The higher up, the better. She could use the height as not only cover, but to scout ahead.
-Saito chuckles after hearing his baby sister say that then he walked in the forest through the path. He sees Akane jump from tree to tree knowing she is excited to be doing her first mission and he smiles. "Don't go too far Akane."
Akane would go ahead of him a few yards. She stopped to look around and signaled to him that the area look clear. Soon jumping from branch to branch was going to get harder do to distance between the trees was getting further and further.
Saito ran after her as she goes up ahead to see if the area was clear. He stops and drinks water as the sun shines down at him. "Hold on a bit Akane."
She would stop as she landed on the next branch. Right in front of her was a web with a spider on it. She smiled and reached her hand out. The spider tickled her as it crawled on her hand. Akane was weird when it came to small animals, instects, and arachnids. She let the spider crawl on her as she leaped out of the tree and landed next to her brother. "Saito! Look!" She held her arm out where it was crawling on her.
