Emily walked over to Vincent and her's meeting point about 2 minutes after the popular jerks had came to trouble him.She sighed, smiling a bit while her snow-white tail was waving in her back.

''Hey, so, what's up?'' She asked, while trying to analyze what had just happened, since he seemed a bit in pain. ''Are you alright, buddy?'' The half-breed asked, raising her left eyebrow and looking at him with a look that only made her seem more worried. She then nodded to herself a bit while understand without him even saying anything.

''That witch and Dracula we're here, right?'' She asked while sighing in deception. ''Sorry i couldn't come here earlier. Are you harmed or something?'' Emily apologized.

"Nah, it's fine, they were just jerks as usual is all." Vincent assured. "Come on, we better get to class." He said as he lead the way to first period. The day went on normally after that, the classes were boring as usual and Miranda was talking about them behind their backs. Eventually, the day was over, Vincent and Emy walking the halls making plans to meet up for training.

"Ok, I couldn't get permission to use the gym again, so what do you say we meet up at the park for training, say in thirty minutes?" He suggested.

Emy nodded in agreement, picking up her backpack from the ground and swinging it over her shoulder.

"Sure thing. I'm also pretty sure The witch, her minions and Dracula wont be there because of the sun." She added, grinning and putting her scarf around her neck. "Alright. 30 minutes it is then." She waved and ran off to her dorm room where She changed into more comfortable clothes: a Green hoodie and black short gym shorts, along with her converse.

She quietly walked to the park and sat on a bench before looking at her watch. "2 minutes early." Se thought while She adjusted her glasses and waited.

"Why is everybody always calling me Half-Breed? No actually, why does t matter so much to them that i'm Half breed? Among all the people, i have to be the one that is a Were-Wolf and Frost Human mix.. I dont mind being it, but with all the trouble at School that comes with it.." She thought outloud and sighed.

Vincent returned to his dorm and changed his clothes, grabbing a few other items and was out the door. He eventually made it to the park, finding Emy was already there. "Hey, early I see, hope I didn't keep you waiting." He said as he put down his backpack.

"Ok, so like before I guess we should warm up, especially considering what I have in mind for today." Vincent said. "How about we start with some stretches."

She shook her head. ''Nah, it was only 2 minutes, don't worry.'' She reassured him. The girl cracked her knuckles and popped her back after he said stretches.

''Okay, but what exactly are we doing today?'' Emily asked, curious about what they were going to do this time. She started stretching her arms and yawned. Even if she had slept alot the night before, she was definitly still tired, and a bit sore. The Half-breed rubbed her eyes and sighed. Even if she was kind of tired, and Vincent probably was too, maybe even more then her, they had to train if they wanted to win this Championship and stop the ''Queen Bee'' and her Blood-sucking boyfriend, along with the fools who followed them in fear of getting rejected.

"Well, it's obvious from our fight yesterday that I seriously need to work on my close quarters combat." Vincent said as he fetched two of the rune vests from his backpack and handed one to her. "The moment you got in close I was pretty much a sitting duck, so I figured we can work on physical conditioning today." He put on the vest, the runes glowing to show that they were active.

"Of course, since I'm not exactly an expert on that, I figured you'd give me a few pointers, basically, you're running the show this time around."

Emy smirked and nodded. "Okay, so first, try to punch me with all of your strenght." She ordered, confident. Hand-to-hand fights were more her thing then magic. And that's why She was a Non-Mage.

"Come on, dont worry, i'll be fine. Trust me on that, Vincent." The Half-Breed added while still smirking and waiting for the punch. She didnt really expect anything too strong but didnt say anything about that in fear of hurting Vincent emotionally..

"Uh, you sure?" Vincent asked with apprehension, before Emy confirmed. "Well, ok, not sure how good it'll be though." He said as he put his guard up and prepared for the punch. He took a deep breath and thrusted his fist forward, putting as much power as he could behind it. It wasn't anything much, especially to a creature like Emy, but it wasn't awful by any means, but could still use a lot of improvement. "How was that?"

Emily winced a bit, clearly getting a bit of pain from the punch.

She huffed. "It was.. Alright." She replied before snapping her knuckles.

"I have an idea. You can put some of your lightning magic stuff into your palm, right?" She asked. "You see how i generally have ice magic support or something else to Help me in fist fights? If you can do the same but like i explained before, you can deal more damage to your enemy." The brunette explained, adjusting her glasses.

"Hmm, I see, worth a shot." Vincent replied, retaking his stance. Vincent pulled out his trusty Catalyst Gloves from his backpack, he knew that he was instructed to use his Tome while he was at school, but considering he didn't engrave a lightning enchantment into it, he had to do it himself with his gloves.

"Alright, here it goes." He said as he lowered back into his sloppy stance. The pentagram on his gloves glowed as a Rune Circle appeared over each glove, moving over it as if scanning them. As they passed, they left behind large sparks of electricity before disappearing, and with his fists prepared he let loose another punch.

The tiny girl huffed again, but this Time louder. She frowned and winced, now way more in pain then the punch from before. She catched her breath and sighed, still holding her stomach.

"It's.. It's.. *huff* also a good idea *huff* Target body spots that are more vulnerable, like the stomach.." She added, as a tip. "Good job.."

"Thanks, but honestly it's not that sensible of a strategy." Vincent stated as he disenchanted his hands. "During the competition I'll be using a Tome, a catalyst that I need to prepare with spells ahead of time, and with limited space. If I use any of that space for spells just to enhance my own physical attacks, I'll run out of room quickly, when it comes to spells I need to focus on long range and support spells for you." He explained.

"So I think the best course of action is to focus on my physical conditioning, that way I won't need to waste spell space and Mana just to fight a fight that may never even come." He suggested.

She nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, sorry, i didnt think about that.. I am not a Mage, after all." She apologized and sighed.

"Well then! We should borrow one of those magic balls that keep getting heavier some Time. Until then, i propose one-hand push-ups!" Emily smiled and got on the ground, starting to execute one hand pushups, alternating each arm after 5 pushups.

"O-one handed, right off the bat?" Vincent said, not certain if he could even do regular pushups for very long. "Well, I guess we are kind of short on time, one handed it is." he sighed, laying down on the ground. He placed his right hand on the soft grass and pushed upward, causing him a fair amount of strain. Vincent was physically fit to the extent that Mage has to be, but he was no athlete, so this exercise was rather difficult for him.

"One... two... three... f-four..." he counted, already beginning to regret putting Emy in charge of training.

Emy sighed in desperation and shook her head.

"Okay, physical conditioning definitly isn't your thing, i got that.. Just.. Just do normal push ups.." She said while facepalming. She kind of fell sorry for the dude. He was Nice, smart, a great friend and great mage, kind of good looking but.. Bad at physical conditioning.

Emily re thought that again and her face flushed red. "W-what? No, i c-cant think of Vincent l-like that.." She muttered to herself while looking at the ground and hoping nobody heard.. Especially Vincent.

"Oh thank the gods." Vincent sighed as he took a short rest before resuming his exercises with regular pushups. These were much simpler to do, it still took a quite a bit of effort, but he was able to manage a full set before he started feeling tired. As he finished his first set, he noticed Emy's flustered behavior.

"Hey, you feeling alright Emy, your face is a little red." Vincent asked with concern.

"T-t-t-totally fine, w-what are yo-you talking about-t?" She stuttered and tried avoiding his look.

"Let's just.. P-push ups.." Emily was feeling so awkward and embarrassed that She even skipped words. When He wasnt looking, She found herself glancing at him and looking away directly when He turned his head.

"Emily! What's wrong with you?" She thought, trying to calm herself.

Vincent wasn't at all convinced that she was ok, she seemed incredibly nervous and jumpy, looking away anytime he even looked at her, it made him worry, but mostly... he thought it was the cutest thing he's ever seen.

'Damn it, pull it together Vincent!' He thought to himself, shaking his head and feeling the heat raise to his cheeks. 'Don't you go and start having any weird thoughts, just... focus on your training.' He told himself, suddenly he felt a burst of energy, completing his next few sets of pushups in record time. He sat down on the grass, panting in an attempt to catch his breath.

"Ok... so... what's next?" He asked.

The tiny girl sighed, finaly having came back to a more calm, but still embarrassed, state.

"Hmmm.. Oh i know!" The half breed made her ice scissor blade sword appear, grabbing it and stabbing it into the ground. The weapon was very heavy and it took quite a lot of strenght to just pick it up.

"Try and pick it up." She tried to persue him to do so, so that He would expect it to be light and have a hard Time. Getting stronger was the point of training, right?

"Pick it up?" Vincent said quizzically. "...Well, ok." He agreed, he figured he was going to spar with her or something and she was giving him a weapon, but when he went to pick it up, he found that he couldn't. "What the..." He pulled even harder, using two hands and pulling with all his might. After a few moments of pulling he finally dislodged it from the ground, but it was near impossible to hold it up, his arms were shaking violently just keeping the tip off the ground.

"...grrr, gah, what... the... hell!" Vincent exclaimed before his strength, or lack there of, gave out, the blade falling to the ground. "...Holy crap, that this is freaking heavy, what are you Supergirl?"
