''Guess no..'' she muttered, still drawing weapons and armors. ''Looks like Miranda enjoys annoying people..'' she said, as her eyes turned blood red and she crushed her pencil to break it into little pieces.
Emy removed her hood and grabbed her glasses to put them on. ''Sorry for the bad mood, i feel kind of mad right now. Anyways, i am Emy Allison Naito, but please call me Emy, what's your name?'' she asked, wanting to shake Marshal's hand. After she met Vincent's friend, she looked back at Miranda. Her wolf form wanted to take over but she tried to calm herself. Emy's teeth were growing in her mouth and getting pointier. ''N-no.. dont..'' she muttered to herself, trying to not turn into a wolf in class. Her tail got out and her ears too. ''N-no.. n-no.. dont Emy..'' she muttered, putting on her hood to cover her ears.

"Whoa, uh, ok, Werewolf, good to know." Marshal said, surprised by the fury appendages. Vincent elbowed him for the slightly offending reaction.
"Look, don't worry about Miranda and her cult of witches, the worse thing you can do is give them exactly what they want and cave in like this." he said, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. He tried to think of something else to talk about to calm her down a bit, and that's when he saw her notebook.
"Hey, so are these the drawings you mentioned before in history." He inquired as he took a closer look at them. "Wow, they're really good, mind if I take a look?"

''G-go on..'' she said, handing him the book and looking at her crushed pencil. Her tail slowly disapeared, like her ears and pointy teeths. Emy wasnt used to share her drawings. She blushed and hided her face in her hoodie. She grabbed a new pencil the remplace the broken one and looked at his reaction.
Vincent took the book and flipped through it, there were any different types of drawings within its pages, from weapons and armor, to buildings and landscapes, and there was even the occasional animal sketch as well.
"Wow, did you really draw all of these, cause they're amazing." Vincent said in awe.
"Really, let me take a look." Marshal said before Vincent handed him the book. "Hey, you're right, these are really good, definitely better than anything you could make." He jabbed at his friend.
"Yeah, my drawing skills are limited to Pentagrams and Rune Circles, other than that I draw like a three year old." He admitted as he gave back the notebook.

''T-thanks.. took a lot of time to practice and get the style right..'' she said, blushing because of the remark. Her eyes turned purple of shyness as Miranda looked at them. ''I see the nerd as found friends? Huh? Vincent, i am disapointed of you, being friend with such Stupid and Weird person.'' Miranda said, as her friends laughed behind her. Emy got up and looked at the band of girls. Her eyes turned blood red and she growled. ''Teacher, can i go to the toilet?'' Emy asked, wanting to morph to her wolf form and come back. ''Sure. But do fast.'' The teacher replied, still reading. Emy ran out of class, ran to the toilet, morphed and came back in class in her wolf form. She fastly and shortly howled in the band of girl's back and growled, showing teeth and having fangs out. With a darker voice then usual, she started talking to the girls. ''Dont mess with me.. again.. maybe youre safe in class but not out..'' she said, going to her place, still in wolf form. The wolf's eyes turn back to brown and she sat on her chair, looking at her friends.
"Emy wait..." Vincent tried to stop her as she left the class. He then turned and glared at Miranda. "What the heck's you're problem Miranda!"
"Me, I'm not the one dirtying my hands with the filth of this academy." She replied maliciously, making Vincent clench his fists in anger. He was about to go off on her until Emy returned in her wolf form, making her threat and intimidating more than just her tormentors.
"Alright that's enough." Mr. Skeliskov announced, silencing the class. "Young lady, in case you are unaware all beastial powers are forbidden in the lab unless permission is expressly given by a teacher or lab assistant, I'll let it slide this time, but try to control yourself in the future." he lectured to Emy. "And as for you Ms. Westcott, need I remind you that all students are equal at Magnus Academy, if I hear you calling any of them "filth" again, I'll have you sent to the Dean's office, do I make myself clear?" he asked strictly, both girls nodding in confirmation. The teacher then went back to his book and the class went about their business again.
"You ok?" Vincent asked Emy.

Emy turned to her human form and said: "Yeah.. Until they annoy me again.. Ugh.. I dont care being caught, i just want them to leave me alone.." She said, as Miranda and her friends we're still Talking in her back. Emy calmly grabbed her glasses and weared them. "What is she going to say next time? Laugh of me because i am a mixed Blood?!" She said, annoyed. She grabbed her pencil and sketched something else. It was a human in a snowy place, representing her mom as Frosted Human and the other side, a were-wolf, representing her dad.
"Look, I know you're frustrated, but wolfing out and threatening them like that is exactly what you shouldn't do, now they're definitely not going to leave you alone now that they think they can get you in trouble." Vincent said. "Look, I know I'm gonna sound like a total guidance councilor right now, but really the best thing to do is to ignore them."
"Vincent's right... he does sound like a guidance councilor." Marshal quipped, much to Vincent's chagrin. "I mean, it's true that now Miranda is going to try and get you to wolf out to get you in trouble, but just standing there and taking her crap isn't going to solve things either."
"I'm not telling her to not stick up for herself, just... don't go straight into beast mode, especially in the middle of class." Vincent defended.
"Ok, I see what you mean, so what do you suggest she do then?" Marshal asked.
"...uh, well... I'm still working on that, but there has to be a better way to deal with this." Vincent insisted. Eventually, the bell rang, signaling the end of third period. Vincent checked his schedule for his next class. "Alright, my next class is Arcane Arts, I know for a fact that Miranda is in that class with me too, and since you're not a mage you don't take that class, so you're safe for Fourth Period at least." He stated. "fifth period is lunch, let's all meet up at the cafeteria and have eat together, if we're in a group, it'll be easier to deal with Miranda and her witches."

''Okay, see you guys there.'' She said, walking to her next class: Morphing Class.
Morphing class wasnt a normal class. It was outside in the giant courtyard of the school. The teacher was a Were-Bear. He was tall, large and muscular. He was really imposant but he was kind. His name was Mister Jix but he prefered being called Jix. ''Okay, how's it going class? Today, were just gonna turn to our bestial forms and run around the track. Do the most track tours you can. I'll be running too. Go!'' He said with a low but gentle voice. All the class, including Jix and Emy, turned to their bestial form and started running on the track. Emy liked that class, she felt like she wasnt the only morpher. Like if she wasnt lonely. Mr. Jix was Emy's favorite teacher but was also her cousin. That's one of the reasons why he was her favorite teacher. Emy was always running side to Jix. After class, the whole class and Jix turned to their human form. ''Alright, good job, class! Go have a good meal at the lunch!'' his said, with his usual low voice.
While the others were leaving, Emy stayed a couple minutes to talk to his cousin. ''Hey Jix? There's a girl annoying me with her friends..'' she said. ''Who is it?'' He asked, worrying for his cousin. ''Uh.. it's Miranda and her little gang.. they wanted to steal my glasses after gym class.. my friends and me are going to talk about it at lunch, can you come with us, please?'' She asked, full of hope. ''I'll sure do, Emy.'' Jix said, with a smile. He patted her head. ''Let's go.'' He said, walking to the lunch room with her.

The boys arrived at their next class relatively early, they had put on special robes over their uniforms as required for the class. They sat down in their assigned desks and waited for class to begin. Soon after, Miranda and her witches entered the class walking straight up to Vincent.
"So Vincent, where's the flea bag, oh right this class is meant for mages, not mongrels." She teased, her friends giggling in the background.
"I'd rather hang out a mongrel than a bunch of cackling hags." he shot back. She was about to retort when the instructor walked through the door.
"Good morning class, my name is Christopher Warren and I will be your Arcane Arts instructor for the year." He said as he wrote his name on the board. "Now, I understand as third years you all fancy yourselves experienced mages already, but it takes years of study and training to master the Arcane Arts, and I can tell you right now that you have not even begun to scratch the surface of all that is magic." As he spoke he slowly walked up to Miranda, who was levitating a hand mirror while magically fixing her makeup. Warren suddenly closed the mirror, gaining the girl's attention. "One of the most important lessons a mage is to learn is how to not use magic. Don't let what you can do dictate what you should do; Merlin Ambrosias." He quoted as he confiscated the mirror. "To help you all learn this lesson, from now on instead of your usual catalysts, you will be using these." He walked back to his desk and pulled out a box filled with little pocket sized spell books.
"These are Tomes, a temporary catalyst that can only hold a certain number of spells. Everyday, I will give you a list of spells to engrave into your Tomes, leaving room for only a few spells you personally enjoy using, limiting your use of magic. " He explained as he passed out the Tomes. Everyone seemed disheartened by the limitation, even Vincent was a little disappointed, but he couldn't help but snicker at what a mess Miranda will be when she can't use her magic to her usual extent. Once he was done passing them out he walked back to his desk with his own Tome. "Today, I will teach you how to engrave a spell into your Tome, pay attention, if you don't know how to do it, then no magic for you." He said as he placed his Tome onto his desk and begun the process of engraving it. The rest of the class merely consisted of the students engraving their Tomes with their chosen spells, he gave them a break on the first day, but starting tomorrow there would be a list of required spells that needed to be engraved, usually the spell that they just learned that day in class. After class was over, Vincent and Marshal made their way to the cafeteria to meet up with Emy.

After class was over, Vincent and Marshal made their way to the cafeteria to meet up with Emy.
Emy was sitting at a table next to Jix. She had a sandwich and an apple infront of her while Jix had 3 steaks and a bottle of water. ''Hey guys, this is Jix, my cousin. You may also know him as Mr. Jix from the Morphing class.'' She said, giving lead to him. ''Hey, i am Jix. Nice to meet you guys. Emy told me a little bit about you two. Vincent and Marshal right? It's cool to see Little-Emy with some friends.'' He said, with his usual deep but friendly voice. He got up and shaked the 2 boys' hands strongly, without wanting as the students at the other table starred at him. He was known for being a kind teacher, but, by look, he looked tough and serious. He was tough, but not that serious. ''Hope your friends dont mind i eat with you guys?'' He said, sitting and starting to eat. ''I hope so.'' Emy said with a smile. She didnt started eating, she waited for her friends. ''Jix is here to help me with the problems..'' she said, talking about Miranda's gang.
Miranda and her little witch gang were at a table, not so away from them, but couldnt what they were saying. Everytime Emy's cousin was doing something, they were scared of it. Emy was laughing. ''Looks like they're scared of you, cousin.'' she said, friendlyly-hitting her cousin's too muscular arm. ''I am not really here to scare them.. but if that can make them stay away from you, ill be happy, Little-Emy.'' Jix said, still eating. ''So, where do we start?'' she asked as the 2 boys sat at the table.

Vincent and Marshal sat at the table with their lunches. "Well, I'll tell you one thing Mr. Jix, you're already helping just by being here." Vincent said. "If Miranda knows that Emy is related to a teacher, it'll make her a lot more careful about teasing her out in the open. Of course it won't make her stop completely, but it's a start."
"Good to hear." Jix replied after swallowing a bite of his stake. "So this Miranda girl, is she really that bad?" He inquired.
"Oh yeah, total Witch if there ever was one." Marshal said. "Last year, she tortured this one girl so badly she had to change schools, and she was another Mage too, no one is safe from her wrath." he informed, much to the morphers' dismay.
"Don't worry though, I doubt it'll come to that, Miranda's most sadistic methods usually involve magic, and this year, our teacher limited our use with these Tomes." Vincent reached into his pocket and pulled out the Tome he was given. "So really, our most pressing matter is her teasing, and judging by Emy's reactions so far, she'll definitely be using that as her weapon of choice." He stated with a serious look on his face.

''So basicly, we got to keep *munch* away from *munch* Little-Emy?'' Jix said with his usual deep voice, while eating. ''I guess so..'' Emy said, starting to eat after she talked.
"But the thing is we can't just force her to leave Emy alone like she's been trying to do." Vincent said. "If anything you're threats have made her more determined to make your life a living hell, she hates being challenged, especially by someone she feels is beneath her.
"Well, she seems pretty intimidated by me, maybe if I have a little chat with her?" Jix suggested.
"Unless you're willing to guard Emy twenty-four seven all that'll do is get her mad." Marshal replied.

Jix thinked. ''Mmmm.. all i can do is always be near.. there's no really stuff to do about that.. it's the right time because i have vacancy for 2 weeks.'' He said, as he started to eat after. ''Well.. i dont see any other solutions..'' Emy said, starting to eat.
"I guess not, it'll have to do for now." Vincent lamented. "Sorry to ask this of you Mr. Jix."
"Hey, I don't know about you Mages, but us Were-beasts, we take care of our own, it's no trouble at all." Jix replied, patting Emy on the head.
"Well, that's good to hear. So for now Emy, just stick close to your cousin, in the meantime, I'll try and think of a more permanent solution." Vincent said.
"Yeah, there's no way we're gonna let Miranda have the last laugh on this one." Marshal added before taking a bite of his food.

Jix smiled and continued eating. ''So.. *munch* it's that girl over there with her friends? *munch*'' He said. ''Exactly.. they're quite annoying..'' Emy said, taking a bite of her lunch.
"Yeah, that's her, Miranda Westcott, the Witch of Magnus Academy." Vincent explained. "Most popular girl in school, and from a rich and powerful family to boot, the Westcotts are very respected in the magical community, and they donate a lot of time and money to the school, so a lot of the teachers don't want to get on her bad side, in fear of losing one of their most prominent benefactors."
''That doesnt mean she can bully everybody!'' Said Emy, smashing her fist to the table. ''Woo, calm down, Little-Emy. It's not like that that things are gonna get better. Now, go to class, ill be nearby, cousin.'' Jix said, getting up at the same time as Emy. There was only 1 class left for Emy: Element Controlling.
"Our last class is Mathematics, I don't know what Miranda has, but since your last class is part of the elemental creature curriculum, you should be fine." Marshal said.
"After that we're pretty much done for the day, you should be safe or in you're own dorm room, so the safest thing might just be to turn in for the day after your last class." Vincent stated.
