Arc looked at the wolf and smiled, "Omigod that is so cool." Arc was so excited to see a dire wolf. "Calm down Arc, you don't wanna freak the wolf out do you?" "No but, fine," Arc sighed.

Tarin got off Shadow-seeker and the dire wolf walked over to Arc and nuzzled Arc and Tarin said "he likes you"

Arc crouched in front of the wolf and reached her hand out to pet it. His fur was soft and warm. She ran her hand across his back and when her hand hit wound the wolf winced and growled, "Sorry." Arc looked at her hand and saw blood.

Tarin walked over and he said "Shadow...crap he must have came out of a fight when I arrived let me patch you up bud" he took out some bandages and he fixed his wolf ally up and he gave him a warm red liquid to drink and he was healed quickly Tarin led him to a small stream and he washed his friend and he said "That better boy?" the dire wolf didn't respond it bounded over to Arc hand began to lick her and he lay next to her.

Arc laughed and said, "I think he feels much better."

"He really likes you" Tarin sat down next to arc and he began to talk with her.

"Yea, I guess he does," Arc smiled.

Shadow-Seeker fell asleep next to Arc and Tarin and Arc were resting against the hound's flank and he said "I like you Arc...I was never a trusting person not after Vesh-Triva and then I met these guys they changed my view and I feel a lot better I hope we can become great friends"

Erica had snuck away from Caleb as he was resting to go back where she met the new twins. She ran there in fox form and was delighted to see tarin. She bounded up to tarin nuzzling him happily.

Arc smiled, "I think we can." Arc dozed off. Tinen was getting a little over protective he changed to wolf form and stood in front of Arc protectively.

Wolfina was overwhelmed by all the commotion. "What am I going to do?" "You're going to lead this pack like you always have," Sarina told her.

When Erica had bounded up to him he hugged her and he said "Erica...I promise I'll never leave again...not while I have a breath in my lungs" he smiled and he let her nuzzle him and he said "I will never leave your side...I will stand firm and I won't leave not while you need me and say hello to my Dire wolf steed Shadow-Seeker" the great black beast reared it's head and it nuzzled her gently it then picked her up and placed her on his back.

Scorpio was in the forest looking around. He sensed something closing in on him. When he turned around he saw a fire tiger. Scorpio accepted his fate. The tiger then killed Scorp and ran off.

Tarin looked around and he said "Fire Tiger...and something else" he got up and he ran towards where he thought the Tiger would be and he found it beginning to run when he shot it and he ran over to Scorp and he said "Damn...there's still a chance I couldn't save Sinjin but I can save you Scorp" he began to chant and he entered a death like state and he found Scorp and he said "Scorp! we need you! think of Erica! Think of Wolfina!think of Sernia! I can take your place but you must go! death is not your destiny today!" he grabbed Scorp ad he threw him towards a light and he said "I lake thy place in death for thee has a life to live" then something strange happened Death himself said "Tarin! thou shalt not enter this day! I banish thee till thy dying day!" he was then hurtled out and he returned to his own body and he stood and he said "Scorp! wake your sorry butt up!"

Wolfina walked up behind Tarin, "It's to late, he's gone." She was acting calm hen in reality she wasn't.

"NO! HE'S NOT GONE! I CAN SAVE HIM!" He yelled as he began to tack his dagger and he sliced his hand and he preformed a blood magic and he said "I can! I'm not letting someone else die!" he used every thing he could think of and he said "NO! he's not!...I can save him!"

Erica came up whinning. she was worried he was only gonna hurt himself more. she shifted into human and paced a gentle hand on his shoulder, tears falling down her face. "Tarin...please? let him rest." she said gently.

"Why is every one dying?" he said looked at her and they heard a melovlent laughing and a man clad in black armour appeared "Your friends dying one by one...my servants are doing well" Tarin grew angry and he ran and drew his sword and he said "I'll kill you!" he swung the sword at the man and the mad grabbed the blade and he said "Tarin you will die last the next to die will be your closest friend!" Tarin eye'[s went red with battle light and cut through the man's hand and he began to slash him wildly and he said "You dare touch any one of them I'll murder you!"

when tarin attacked the man in front she felt two strong figures grab her arms quickly. she was not quick enough to draw her weapon. "TARIN!!!" she screamed and thought of his dire wolf but before she could utter a sound she was knocked out.
