HEY! It's that time - post your favourite pieces of each month for the past year! Have you progressed? Are you sitting comfortably? Is there something you need to work on? Do you manage to have a piece for each month?

I'm very happy, myself, to have a piece for each month. I sadly didn't have this last year! Life has been getting better, and it's showing. Can't wait to see yours!

I've dreaded doing these things for YEARS because I feel like I haven't improved but TIME TO SUCK IT UP and hopefully prove myself wrong in the process? (Also hot dang I still love that February piece)




Almost half of it is commissions, ahahaaa. But more traditional stuff than I expected, so that's good!

I love this meme too! I always want to do it but it would mean I would have had to FINISH something Great to see everyones work though!

Just for kicks I went and found the last one of these things I did, back in 2011. @__@ It's not that old but I still see a buttload of improvement in several areas, so I guess I HAVE been improving more than it feels like sometimes.

For some reason my colors are off on my laptop so they all look funky. but I made a lot of improvements this year. I'm actually shocked I had a drawing for each month, last year I didn't have that. ^^

This was my most productive year in a long time. I don't think I really improved on the high end but my basics are a lot better, it's easy for me to get a picture off the ground now where I used to struggle with construction, posing, etc. I need to work on my drapery and draw ladies more - dudes outnumber them in my work five to one.

I'm not sure it does mean that! I've seen this meme with some partial works in it before!

I was actually surprised when I went to make one (Thanks Kim!). I had to pick between a few pieces per month and I didn't expect that. I suspect it's thanks to commission work and RPR trades 8D

These are great. I'm hoping to have something for next year, but my year in review would mostly come from October and November unfortunately so it wouldn't be much of a year!
