Hey guuuuuys. Specifically you who play Flight Rising. I need some opinions, pretty please, on a dragon (and I didn't feel like posting on FR's forum itself this time).

I have this petite lil' cute fairy girl I want to dragon-ize, but I don't know what to do about her. I bought this white/banana/pink girl, but a couple of months later I don't feel she's a fit. The colors aren't zing-y, and the element doesn't relate to the OC at all.

I know for sure that I want a Fae dragon, female, with a yellow or banana secondary gene color (I associate Secondary colors with hair color for some reason; I blame the Pearlcatchers' awesome manes!) I have no idea what to do with the primary & tertiary colors or any of the genetics, however. Victoria (the girl) likes bright colors & frilly outfits, so I don't want something that clashes with something like the silk apparel...

As for element, I'm leaning to Lightening for the bright blue-ish eyes, but also Wind for the matching element affiliation.

Any suggestions, FRPRians? I'm utterly stumped, and the AH's choices have been so frustrating. <8C

Edit, so you don't feel as utterly overwhelmed as I am: colors are primarily what I'm struggling with. I can gene a dragon up easily enough with enough treasure grinding or sacrificing of gems. It's just a possible color scheme that keeps making me slam my head into a wall in frustration.

I know you said you wanted yellow or banana, but she's ice/ivory/rose with iridescent/current/smoke. Here's an alternative with facet instead of current:



I think they're both nice and bright and pale without being so outrageous that they'd clash overmuch with the prettier attire items. I hope this helps, good luck!

Wiz & I did a lil' more back and forth on Furcadia over this last night, and I do heartily agree that I love the facet gene (2nd image)!

So I ended up with this today as I played around in the Scrying Workshop:

Rose - Ivory - Rose would be tricky to find, so I reckon I can try to breed it with my pre-existing Fae I own and buy up the genes I need later. It's got a nice hint of pink to it though, so I reckon I can get the 'zing' from apparel items instead!

Edit: And then the Auction House yielded this pretty rose-banana-pink girl. Not a Fae, but I'm going to buy a breed changin' paper to make her one! I hope her original owner doesn't mind, but the colors are faaaabulous~.

Gah, too gorgeous. I don't even like the faes but daaaaaang!

I don't really like Faes either, but this time it just seemed to work out in that breed's favor! I was also lookin' at Skydancers & Coatls as possible breeds, but I'd have to keep her as a hatchling because she'd lose the 'super cute' factor other wise. And clothing options!

But uh, here, I did some quick mock-ups (minus the tert--still on the fence about how to gene that one) :


Iridescent - Shimmer - Basic :: I really like Iri Rose + Banana Shim, and Shim is already what she has presently.


Iridescent - Facet - Basic :: I'm a bit on the fence about a Banana Facet, but it's not as glaring as it'd be if she was Crystal/Facet gened!


Iridescent - Seraph - Basic :: I really like Seraph on the wings for some reason... could be option #3 to fall back on, if getting Iri + Shim/Facet doesn't work out!

I think the Seraph works the best. It really pops on the fae wings.
