(Did you post something?)
Shiro's eyes settled on two people. They Interested him. So he opted to listen.
rolled 1d100 and got 63
(You notice Verdun and the butler speaking and Verdun handing him a silver colored pocket watch)
The party went on for some time. Eventually most of the guests had gone and all three courses of the meal had been finished. Verdun politely asked everyone to leave, except for Shiro, Crystie, and Kai. "We have some business to attend to," he said matter-of-factly.
“Business? Did we get picked for a grand prize or something?” Crystie smiled jokingly. She thought it was a bit odd that they were the only ones left, but she also thought it was odd that she had received an invitation in the first place.
“Hopefully it won’t require me to stay in these heels much longer because I’m ready to take them off! What do you need from me?” She asked, crossing her legs.

"What kind of business?" Shiro had noticed the slight movement the two had made. "What does it have to do with me?" As much as he hated it he was curious, and when Shiro gets curious, he finds answers.
Verdun smiled, "Well now, aren't you two excited," he said condescendingly. "I have a job for any of you that are interested. And yes," he said turning to Crystie, "The formal part is over."
A job? What did a wealthy man like Alexander need that he couldn't get one of his servants to do? Crystie gave Verdun a puzzled look as she kicked off her shoes.
"What kind of job? And why us?" She looked amongst the group. They were mere strangers. What could they have in common?

"You all have potential to be something greater than you are, as do most. I do not, for I am at my prime. The only direction for my life to travel is down," he smiled, "You may still be wondering where you come in. Have you ever heard of the fountain of youth?" he asked.
Crystie chuckled awkwardly.
"What? You mean the myth? What do we have to do with that?" She asked him curiously. He couldn't possibly believe the thing actually existed?

Verdun looked at Shiro, "And what do you think of this so called 'myth'."
"I think it is foolish to go after something like that. All my problems were because of that retched fountain."
"Wait a second, are you guys saying you've seen the fountain of youth?!" She asked the men, bewildered.
"Seen? Of course not, that is why I need you, I must stay here to tend to my civil duties. You will find this fountain for me, if you would please," he says with a smile.
Crystie gave Verdun a puzzled look as she leaned back in her chair.
"What's in it for us?" She asked him, folding her arms.
"What's in it for us?" She asked him, folding her arms.
"Not much, not much infinite power," he said seemingly jokingly.
"I think we should go" Shiro had been convinced by the fact that many people ,who didn't understand the troubles that fountain may cause, were talking about it. There was no possible way that he can convince this man otherwise.
