Alexander sent for his servants, Diablo, Krayne, and Mortis. He asked them to deliver several letters throughout the land. They simply bowed to him and said, "It will be done," and began their trek across the land.

Crystie wiped the sweat from her brow before checking her watch. 1:10 Two hours of a work out should be good enough. She smiled triumphantly before walking inside. She threw a towel around her shoulders as she dug her water bottle out of the fridge. Her throat graciously accepted the sports drink. Taking a couple deep breaths she grabbed the remote and flipped on the news. Same ol' same ol'. Country at war, showers to be expected that night, someone had gotten into a car accident. Just another typical day. Crystie sighed as she rubbed the back of her neck with the towel.
There was a knock at Crystie's door.
Crystie was just about to head up to shower when she heard the knock at the door.
"Huh..wonder who that is. I didn't think my package would be here today," she muttered to herself as she walked over to the door.
"Hello?" Crystie asked as she opened the door. A man stood there.

"Hello?" Crystie asked as she opened the door. A man stood there.
The man had a very anorexic looking, pale face. His eye sockets were slightly sunken in, his eyes bloodshot. He was suited in a black pin-striped suit and black bow tie. He said to her in a deep, cold voice, "Madam, this letter comes from Senator Longspear who wishes to extend to you an invitation." He held out a long bony hand, in it black letter with a red seal on it. It was labeled, "Alexander Verdun Longspear".
Crystie was taken aback by the man's appearance. He looked sickly. Still, minding not to touch the man's hand, she took the envelope from him.
"Alexander Longspear..sounds familiar. Sounds important. Are you sure this is right? You sure he meant to ask me? She asked him, her fingers itching to break the seal on the back. Still, how often was it than a man of importance sends you an invitation?

The man paid her no heed and simply walked slowly back to the limousine he came in, his long arms swaying behind him, almost at his knees. He entered the car. Upon opening the door, Crystie could see another man, similarly dressed, but with a top hat and cane in addition to the suit. He looked at her for a brief moment and lifted his hat to her before the tall man closed the door and the car drove away.
Crystie was speechless.
"Alrighty then.." She said as she closed the door behind her. She sat for a moment, staring at the envelope and the elegant writing in the front.
Alexander Longspear...
Finally, slowly, she turned the envelope over in her hands and ripped the back open. On fancy parcel read:
To whom it may concern.
Sir Alexander Longspear would like to extend to you an invitation at his private estate. You are to dress formally and arrive promptly at 6:00 PM tonight. An address is listed below. We hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
Alexander Longspear
He has sighed the invitation in the same elegant writing as the front of the envelope. A party? Crystie thought. She looked over herself. She was nowhere near ready to go to a party!
"Pfft, no. I can't. There's no way," she dropped the letter on the table and made her way to the shower. Still, the envelope weighed on her mind as she stepped into the shower.

Krayne sat perched above the town, keeping an eye on the three guests which the master had planned on inviting to his party. He saw Crystie drop the envelope on the table. That was all he needed to see, he knew humans, they wouldn't just up and go to a party the next day. He flew back to his masters estate. Walking in to the palace, he took a knee and bowed his head, putting his clenched fist over his chest. "My Lord, Crystie does not seem able, or eager." Alexander leaned forward out of the shadows and said to Krayne in his deep controlling tone, "Silly child, they will come. They will come because they want to, not because they have to. The human psyche requires attention, craves it. They will come, and they will do it of their own free will. Now go! Continue your scouting," he said with a dismissive wave.
Shiro was walking down the street eating an apple that he had 'borrowed' from the grocery store. He was just wandering aimlessly hoping something would happen.
A tall man approached him. The man had a very anorexic looking, pale face. His eye sockets were slightly sunken in, his eyes bloodshot. He was suited in a black pin-striped suit and black bow tie. Kai Lounges about at home whistleing contently, he roams around out of boredom, he did his daily cleanup along with some exercise which included doing standard laundry and the works, dishes, cleaning, but what was interesting about him was his exercise, he had 2 straw dummys in his yard, he lept onto his roof and jumps back down, both his feet landing on the dummys, he then brings his feet together resulting in the two dummys crashing into each other, as some of the straw flew about he caught almost all of them and stuffed them back into the dummy's. He did this continuously for about a half hour, using a different move each time, and occasionally take one or the other dummy out for the sake of the move, after the half hour was off, he sighed deeply taking the dummy back inside, he then decided on finally relaxing once more on his chair, seemingly almost asleep
(Kai, wrong topic check your PMs)
(It's cool!)
(Wait! Sorry! Right topic! I mistook you for your other character, I'm sorry!)
There was a knock at Kai's door.
Kai wakes up from the knock, sighing as he opens the door, a slightly agitated look upon his face and, if one were to look close enough, a pair of red horns slowly cooming up from the top of his head and gone again, "may i help you" he asks tiredly, rubbing his eye wearily,

"longspear, where have i heard that before..." he whispers to himself, paying no mind to the man and taking the envelope from the man. "uhm thanks, ill be there i guess" he says dismissively, before gently closing the door and reading it through, at the indication of formal attire, he sighs as he falls back onto his chair, sighing deeply. "formal attire huh? guess i gotta do some shopping" he says to himself, now running out of the house and to the nearest clothing bazaar or shop.
Krayne smiles as he watches Kai run out to the shop. "Maybe he was right," he says to himself. He glides above the cloud line and watches Kai.
