''Yes, the orbs power is beyond human control. The only one capable of controlling its reaches of strength is the Guardian of this land, who's been here since it was created.''

Cyrus stared at the orb."I heard that a new guardian is chosen when the previous one dies."

She nods. ''Our Guardian is mortal, but no one dares to challenge him. He's about as big as the moutains!''

Cyrus looked at Silver then back at the orb."Big as the mountains."Cyrus huffed to herself.

''I nkow how to summon him forth if you want to feel like an ant. He's very calm, but snappy at times. You know, since humans have stolen most of his treasures that he guards for profit.''

"You can, it's just.....I may know who it is."Cyrus looked at the sky,searching her memories.

Silver walks up to the orb, and touches it lightly, saying something an aincent language. The orb lights up brightly, immense waves of energy shooting out. The stone walls rattled heavily, the grasses blowing down as the wind whipped around wildly.

Cyrus remembered the way her teacher taught her to when things like this happen.She opened her wings and shouted in a roaring voice"STOP!"She kept her wings up until the wind died down.Cyrus's scales smoked from the energy she used to stop the wind as she closed her wings.

Silver steps away from the orb as it flashed golden, then dimmed. Within mere minutes, a loud thundering roar echoed through the lands, the earth below trembling violently. The skies darkened as stars in a line appeared behind clouds, smoke spiraling down to the temple, energy coursing within. The stars followed the smoke with ease, glistening.

"I know this power from anywhere."Cyrus said quietly as she stood her ground,her dark purple scales glowing brighter with her own energy.

The smoke clears, and a behemoth of a drake appears, coiled around the temple, hand holding the orb tightly. Six eyes looked at the two, a golden mask hiding its face. The body was long, serpentine-like. Big enough that it made the large temple rather puny in comparision.

"Well, you do look my teacher."Cyrus said as her scales turned bright purple and her eyes glowed deep blue from the power around her."It has been awhile since I have felt this power."Cyrus thought to herself.

''My name is Celestial Darkness, self-appointed Guardian of this island.''

"And I am Cyrus.Pleased to meet you."Cyrus stared at the huge dragon."I recognize him, but where?"Cyrus thought in her mind.

''Nice to meet you too, Cyrus.'' He replied calmly. ''I am the record keeper of the lands, holder of the orb of power. Sorry for my immense side, but it's a great tool in watching my home.''

Cyrus just stared at Celestial Darkness, going through her memories quickly but carefully.

''I have tought a few young dragons the ability to control many elements, without much difficulty to be noticed at all.''

Cyrus felt darkness surround her.She panicked and quickly released the energy.

''This land you have stumbled upon is an island known as Dragon Island. Where for decades we used to live without humans...But as you can tell, humans have found the land and have begun to use its resources as their own.'' He tsk'd, shaking his head.

"The only reason I came here to this island quietly was because I wanted to see if I can remember what happened in my past."Cyrus said, her scales and eyes returning to their natural colors.
